The food is excellent and the staff are very nice. I Will definitely visit more often. We shared the mixed kebab and there was still some left over!

What an awful experience. They took my money for a delivery order via their own website, after 45 mins I chased it as I still hadn’t had confirmation, they could not understand where my order was and asked if it was just eat which it wasn’t it was via their own website, I was then told to hold. 5 mins later a different person came on the phone and said yeah we need to cancel your order. I asked why and they said the machine didn’t work and they couldn’t see it so when the machine works they will cancel the order and I will eventually get a refund. I again said can’t you just send the food I have been waiting for along time already. They said no and were really off, I suspect they didn’t want to deliver for some reason maybe that the snow was lingering but roads were fine and open as I had checked before ordering. They then said they had already cancelled the order even though seconds before they said the machine wouldn’t turn on. I now have to wait up to a few days for a refund. I expressed my frustration of the way they had dealt with this and lied. The man then got really angry saying it was my fault it was cancelled, I said how can your machine be my fault that is your problem to which he said it wasn’t his problem it was the company they get it from. Ultimately it is your problem pink pepper if your machine doesn’t work you need to fix or replace it. Maybe turn off ordering on your website if you can’t take any!! Blaming your customers and having them wait for along time for food to have their order cancelled is totally unacceptable. I visit regularly and sadly now will not be returning.

Was great when it first opened but has gradually got worse to the point that even though it’s our closest Indian offering we’ve stopped using it. The once attentive staff have now been replaced by the cast of unsmiling disinterested youths. Menu overpriced for average food. Lack of customers means the large premises lacks atmosphere.

Visited for the first time after hearing great reviews. Great food but sadly won’t be returning. Beware of private eye car monitoring!! Parking very limited and on our visit we could nt park outside the restaurant. I went inside to ask where alternative spaces were and was told to park on nearly street or on main road. My husband then parked car on the side of the road. After our meal my husband went to collect our car to pick me up as it was raining heavily. Unknown to us the car park area has Private eye monitoring and 2 weeks after our visit we receive a parking fine stating we had parked without a ticket for over 1 hour 40 minutes. We appealed this but to add to the problem the company was not disclosing the 4 photographs that showed us entering leaving on each occasion. They just were looking at the photo taken on arriving and the final one leaving. The two in between were conveniently not available. After numerous appeals we are preparing to go to court to challenge this. So beware! Sadly we will not be visiting again due to this experience.

Sadly it seems the Pink Pepper has gone downhill over time. It was great - foodwise - when it first opened with warm and friendly staff. However we’ve been disappointed the last couple of times we visited with the dishes being pretty average. The most shocking thing though has been the price hike. Realise that everything is more expensive now and times are tough for everyone but £2.50 for a tiny pickle tray (since when has coleslaw been a pickle btw?) and £4.50 for a pint of lemonade? Really?! Afraid we won’t be back.

We visited this amazing restaurant on the night it opened. We loved it . Since it’s been open we’ve never had a poor meal. Tonight we had a take away. Certainly the best takeaway starter we’ve ever had. Still piping hot when it arrived on the plate. Carefully wrapped in foil. Carefully prepared, properly served. We’re certainly due a visit back to the restaurant.

Favourite ever curry place. The food is amazing and the staff are lovely. I bring my little boy and he loves the chicken korma. The staff give him lollies and make us all feel really welcome. I'd eat here every week if I could.

We are local, live 5 mins down the road from Pink Pepper and have been going most weeks since they opened. It remains our favourite place to go for a curry by far. Great atmosphere, the best food, by far the best curry I’ve had, plenty of it and good value. Owner is also extremely friendly and makes an effort to chat to customers, something which you don’t get from many places these days. Ignore any negative reviews, in our opinion its the best place around for a curry by far, we wouldn’t go anywhere else and in our view cash is not an issue, especially when there is a cash machine in the petrol station right next door. Small businesses have enough trouble with rising costs everywhere these days so not an issue for me if they wish to take cash!

Having visited the pink pepper, many times before, we have always been delighted with the food and service. Having checked on their website to make sure they were open and peruse their menu we set off with my elderly mother for a curry. On arrival at the restaurant, we saw the notice on the door that said cash only (never a good sign) We managed to pay by bank transfer but this was a pain and we won’t be bothering again. Who carries £100 in their wallet these days?? Also no mention of cash only on their website

Delicious food with a modern twist. Crispy, large popadums and chutneys were consumed eagerly while we waited for food. My Garlic king prawn starter had plenty of huge, juicy prawns with onions and a tangy sauce, nicely presented and with a salad garnish. One of my friends had the onion bhajis, which were lighter and less stodgy than many we’ve tried. Another friend said her paneer chaat and puri were too yummy to share. Our main courses arrived lovely and hot and the portions were plentiful. Gorkali chicken was a new dish to me and the combination of tender chicken in a hot sweet and sour tangy curry sauce was lip smackingly delicious! My friends ordered well known favourites of chicken tikka and chicken bhuna and said they were very good too. We enjoyed side dishes of vegetable bhaji and Chanda masala and would happily have eaten them as mains. Nan bread and pilau rice completed the meal and were excellent. We look forward to a return visit and note that it’s also possible to order takeaway.

Fantastic, simple. Mixed starter, onion bhaji light and crispy, chicken tikka melted in mouth and seekh kebabs really tasty. Mains Chicken Madras & a Bhuna, really tasty and again chicken was perfectly cooked and soft. Even the chips, rice and nan bread was spot on.Only thing that was just okay was the samosa and that was still nice. Service also spot on.

Food and Service faultless restaurant spacious modern and spotless. The servers are helpful and knowledgeable too. Parking is poor though and it was very loud with chatter due to the fully open plan and a few all male tables. Best restaurant food I've had in some time. It's a bit of a trail but we will be trying the takeaway menu soon too.

We have just returned after a lovely break away I want to firstly say pink pepper has Amazing food, and fabulous atmosphere. One of the best indians we have had. The staff and manager were polite friendly and helpful. But me or my friends will not be returning. Only 2 memebers of staff could speak english which was frustating as a customer. There was a waitress that was serving drinks when she was promptly asked to do other jobs i presume was by the manger a very young girl was behind the bar serving alcoholic beverages which was very disturbing to view does your licence allow for underage girls to serve alcohol? We also tipped in cash and a the staff memeber put the money in the till, i can only presume the owner of the restaurant will recieve and not the staff members its deceiving and illegal We will not be returning it is such a shame not happy at all.

Having heard that this was an award winning restaurant its been on our list for a while. Went today and was greeted by friendly manager. Husband is vegetarian so pleased to hear that all items on the menu can be made vegetarian. Starters and main dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. There was a miscommunication with my curry and another one was brought and a gift voucher kindly given because of the mix up. Highly recommended!

I've binned half the food because the food was stuck to the serving paper like it was glued on so it was either, bin half the food, or eat paper...

Lovely food, friendly owner! A great place with great tasting food, a good variety on the buffet they offer and a friendly staff to-boot. It's run by an owner who takes great pride in the running of his business. He even suggested that if we have specific requests for the buffet, to ring ahead so that he can have them specifically prepared fresh. More restaurants should be run like this. 😊
