Great food and excellent service We had the lamb and mash and pie and chips with great vegetables and gravy Good selection of ales Friendly and welcoming

Just been taken over by Martin and Mel, fantastic food with a really great cosy, friendly atmosphere. Log fire adds to the chilled traditional pub feel Highly recommend Sunday lunch

Walked in today,only to be greeted by staff saying horrible remarks about customers not quietly may I add, then I brought turkey and ham pie. Or should I say a mortens mouldy pie it’s a good thing I spotted it when I did or I reckon I’d be pretty ill right now. Needless to say won’t be visiting again and highly advised those who do to be careful.

Me and my family popped in the Chaplin's, for the first time, last night, as we were looking something for a bite to eat, just before going to a gig, at the Robin. Freshly cooked orange chips and lovely thick mini fish. Definitely will be coming back again for some more.😋😋😋👍😉

Just finished our evening meal from the Redforte had to give them a call to complement the staff on a fantastic meal, and have to say it was amazing as usual, these guys go the extra mile to deliver fantastic food, it never disappoints thank you and look forward to our next meal

Beautiful food we chose the Sunday pork roast & it did not disappoint 👍 All the staff we spoke to could not have been more welcoming to myself, my husband & our dog 👍💖🦮 We definitely recommend this establishment & we look forward to visiting again in the near future 👍

overall a lovely hotel and brilliant food. however i couldn’t help but notice the lack of respect from staff members to other fellow staff. i think staff for a hotel this nice should be kind and attentive and not out right rude.

Fantastic food and nice setting we popped in without a reservation and were met with smiles. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was great. I had brisket (enormous) and the best mashed potatoes in the world! Just go

Walked in on a rainy Sunday , hadn’t booked but they accommodated us (unlike another pub in Clun) very friendly and welcoming staff. Sunday lunch offered a 1/2/3 course option with a good menu choice. The food was very tasty and presented well , exceptional value for money in a really nice setting

We’ve used this takeaway for years and it’s always been really good but tonight’s the curry was completely different, bhajis dry, curries watery and tasteless. They must have completely changed the chef as entirely different to usual. Not good at all.

Great tasting great value still. Large fish and chips and curry sauce to share. I think it was £11.50.
