Fish & Chips are excellent. The Pizza is amazing .. Highly recommend a visit. Shop very clean & the staff very friendly I wouldn't go anywhere else

Best pub food I've tried. Been a few times and never been disappointed. Lovely little pub.

A very nice friendly and cosy little pub in the centre of the city of Lichfield run by the manager Andrea McCarthy. A variety and good selection of popular cask ales are available,as are lager's and cider catering for all tastes. Friendly and helpful barstaff,as are the local people who frequent this establishment. Overall as we are seeing a big trend in these old pubs which are no longer available and well loved it is much needed in our community.

Enjoyed a 3 course Sunday lunch. Note that they do Sunday roasts which are not on the menu. All home cooked fresh food. Friendly, helpful staff, reasonable prices and lovely clean toilets. Thanks to the lady that helped us with an accessible table.

Nice to see a small but very well executed menu Lots pubs in the area tend to have very predictable menus such be as nice to see 5 or 6 things I fancied choosing Ended up with the special which was a lamb hot pot and was delicious Portions aren’t huge but filled us all up Will be back Pleasant staff

Party of 8 as first time visitors to restaurant. Lots of choice on the menu ,Freindly staff and top quality food . Probably the best curry we have all ever had 🏆. Will definitely return and recommend it to others. Thank you to all at Zengz.

We were travelling from North Wales to Ludlow and were looking for somewhere to have Sunday lunch. We looked in Tripadvisor and found this pub which was highly rated so we booked it. We were a little early and drove past the pub and I had to double check we had the right place. Do not judge a book by its cover! The pub looks a little tired from the outside. It’s been described in previous reviews as ‘quirky’. It sure is. The staff were so welcoming. I prefer to eat veggie and vegan food. The menu had a good selection for me to choose from. We had starters and a Sunday roast dinner. My husband had beef and I had a nut roast. Both were delicious. A good variety of well cooked vegetables , Yorkshire pudding and great roast potatoes. Excellent quality and very tasty. Would highly recommend this pub if you are looking for somewhere to eat. 2 starters , 2 mains and 2 alcoholic drinks £49. Excellent value for money. The service was spot on. This pub was very busy with lots of groups of friends and families. We will definitely return.

Tasty food and good size portions

Wow is all I can say. I was booked in at Glewstone Court for an Afternoon Tea with my children. The whole experience was wonderful and we cannot recommend it enough. On arrival, we were welcomed by a immaculate young man, Sam- he couldn't have been more helpful. We were shown to our seats and Sam went out of his way to ensure my children were happy and had the drinks they wanted. The drinks came quickly, served by a very friendly waitress and we began. Initially, it looked as if we were going to be able to finish everything- we didn't! We started with scrumptious soft sandwiches, homemade sausage rolls and quiche. Honestly, the sausage rolls were delicious and the quiche was a perfect size. We paused for tea and coffee then moved onto the cakes and mini-puds........ My youngest is totally in love with the Rhubarb Macrons and could have eaten many more! The cakes are all made on site and the homemade lemon posset was so more-ish. We had a Paris Brest pastry- I've never had one of those before but I'll be looking out for those again. The warm scones were delicious and there was plenty of clotted cream and jam for us to all share. You could tell instantly they were freshly made. In the end, we needed to take some home in a box as we were full to the brim. We met the owner at the bar, who was delightful, friendly and had a little chat with my daughter's toy cat, much to her delight! The staff there were so kind, cheerful and helpful, the whole place had a really warm and welcoming feel. We didn't feel rushed at all- we stayed all afternoon. Glewstone is just outside of Ross and wasn't somewhere that was on my radar to eat- but I will certainly be returning. I spent my Mothering Sunday in a Georgian Manor House eating delicious food with my family- perfect!

Haven't been here for a long time ( what a mistake that's been ) . The starters and mains where lovely. Service was excellent and the food . Both 10 out of 10 .

Excellent beer and cider selection. Friendly and knowledgeable bar staff. Cobs with salad. Lovely!

All fine - nice people, nice coffee and croissant, nice place. Recommended. Don't sit to the left of the forecourt space if you don't like the smell of patchouli that comes from the adjoining shop.

Amazing little gem in Nuneaton town. Really nice atmosphere, hard to get a seat but worth the wait. Coffee is good and the breakfasts are to die for. Better value than weatherspoons down the road.
