Fantastic curry, good prices and great staff. Next time I go I'll take pictures for everyone.

Ordered stuffed pepper and it was so hot not supposed to be that spicy and mushroom rice so spicy and vegetable balti so spicy onion Baji to spicy even sag Pania was spicy everything was to over spiced what's going on with your cook is he gone crazy with spicing food that doesn't need so much spice wouldn't want a hot curry 🤣🤣🤣🤣the only thing I could eat was the pompa Doms if I wanted spicy food I would of asked for it disappointed 30 pounds chucked in bin never go there again rubbish the place going down hill if they don't get better chef be gone soon 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Came on a Tuesday with friends. They had a Tuesday special offer. Excellent food excellent price will come again. They just changed their policy to bring your own drinks that is ok

Good tasty food. Tuesdays and Wednesdays have a good deal for a meal Inc starter. Recently they changed so they don't sell alcohol but you can bring your own

We were out as a family of 7. This was our first time at Marmion Balti. Lovely restaurant, loved the decor and feel of the place. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Most of us had different dishes and everyone was impressed with their choices. Plates were warmed and food was delicious and hot. Will definitely be back. Well done Marmion Balti

I've been here now a good few times as I live local to this Indian curry house, when dining in sometimes the food has been nice and sometimes it hasn't it's very hit and miss but every time I've ordered for a takeout which is about 5/8 times the food has been great, the guys that work in there are great and I can't knock the customer service.

Ordered take away on Just Eat. Order accepted and delivery guy turned up. I literally opened the door and said hi and all he said was ‘we don’t deliver this far out so next time you order you need to collect it’. And then he was gone! This was the first time we’ve used them as our favourite curry house has disappeared off Just Eat. For some context, this restaurant is around 10 minutes away from my house. It is next to others that deliver to us, and more importantly they advertise that they deliver to my postcode on Just Eat!! Food was average, service unnecessarily rude. Next time I will collect my order, but from somewhere with good customer service and better food.

We visited here from out of town so took a chance but weren't disappointed. Delicious food. BYO on alcohol - not a problem. Funny looking shed from outside but inside was absolutely fine. Really like the Olive pickle!

Well ordered Takeaway and to be honest not impressed, curry delivered late and food was very under par, most takeaways include sauce and salad with starters , but even the curry tasted like strong vinegar , and keema meat was bland . So never again worst curry in a long while .

We have been coming to the Marmion for over 4 years and we have never had a bad meal. Highly recommend. Great food, owner, chefs and front of house staff. Don't forget to bring your own alcohol (soft drinks are available).

what a lovely experience we had at the marmion restaurant, went there as couples on valentine night and all the staffs made us feel welcomed, the house was decorated wonderfully and the atmospheres there was amazing. Will go back again.

Best Indian in Tamworth the staff where the best made a good night for my wife's birthday food was very good and they made a fuss of the kids

Well! What an experience! We waited a ridiculously long time for everything. No one even wanted to take our order - that took 40 mins and one of the party had to physically get up and find a waiter for that. Both my friend enjoyed their starters when they came. I really enjoyed my Balti main course my friends didn’t enjoy theirs. In summary food great, service absolutely dreadful.

The staff are always so lovely when me and my partner go there, they talk to us and are very quick with the service, I always enjoy my experience when going into marmion

Came here for a works celebration. It was my recommendation, as a friend and I eat here quite often. The food is always good, and i've always had great service.. .until now. It was the first time my work collegues had been to the Marmion. The waiter that was serving our table was quite rude. Service was a mismash. Fresh cutlery was practically thrown down at us. When we were finishing up our meal, we were told (not asked) to pass plates along the table, cutlery to be put on a platter. I felt like I was 12 years old! I wanted a dessert, but the waiter just got the bill. I felt rushed, and the waiter was agitated, for what reason I do not know. It was only 10pm, it was as if they were closing up. The manager came over to us to sort a query with the bill. He was wonderful, very friendly and very efficient. Unfortunately this experience has put my friends off coming again, which is a shame. I felt embarrassed for recommending the restaurant. Don't think i'll be rushing back.

I chose here for my works christmas meal and I did not regret it at all. Rocky who i think is the manager was absolutely fantastic all night. Services was excellent and the food tasted anazing. Thank you. We will definitely be returning if not as a business but personally.

I went for a Christmas meal with about 40 colleagues. The food and service was outstanding. We had prep ordered our menu choices and all the food came out at the same time and was hot which is very impressive for how many meals had been prepared. The curry was delicious and was served in lovely crockery, the side dishes were presented well and the tablecloths and napkins were beautiful quality. The staff were brilliant with how many drinks were being ordered and so friendly. Will definitely be going again.

We came here regularly it was a new place for myself and my new partner as I was widowed not long ago. We came in yesterday and the restaurant was completely empty, we were told they were fully booked. We questioned the owner and he was really rude. We went to the miah around the corner had a meal and drinks and looked through the window at the marmion it was still half empty. No idea why we were treated so badly at all but most certainly won't be going back after being treated so rudely.

Food is astonishing and service was great, nice waiters, the music was really fitting. The restaurant was beautiful. They also gave us chocolates at the end.

We arrived just as the restaurant opened and were offered drinks and poppadoms. The waiter said the poppadoms would be a few minutes as they were just starting cooking in the kitchen. Bonus, they were so fresh and crunchy when they arrived. We both opted for the chicken Shashlik starter, a favourite from previous visits, absolutely fabulous and a generous portion. Main courses, Lamb Jalfrezi and Chicken Pathia, Mushroom pilau rice and garlic naan. Everything was lovely, great service, fabulous food and we managed to book a table for Christmas Eve. Highly reccomend .

Ordered Quorn saag masalla and ended up with prawn saag masalla. It stinks of fish, couldn't eat it 🤢🤢🤢 Safe to say if you are vegetarian this place does not cater and just assumed we meant prawn. When we asked why it was so expensive. Restaurant put the phone down on us. The chicken curry was ok, lacking flavour.

Been in Tamworth for a year, after living in both Birmingham and Coventry, and everything else in Tamworth is bland! Rocky has absolutely smashed it: the tasty, spicy naga madras is bang on. Will be coming to Marmion again very soon!

Food is nice. There's a special offer on some evenings which means food is excellent value for money. Also means the place is rammed full of people, even on a weeknight which means service does suffer and was quite slow.

The food and service are both absolutely amazing.

We have been ordering food from here for over 12 months weekly and always order the same food, the last few times our order hasn’t been right we didn’t say anything at first as mistakes happen, but when it keeps happening that isn’t good so we will not be ordering from Marmion again.

Me and my partner use marmion every week for our take away I would highly recommend this place the staff are always very polite from and helpful and make you feel very welcome from the moment you walk through the door to the moment you leave

I have had some decent meals here but tonight’s was poor, I sent the drink back as it was flat and the chicken on the main course was bland and overcooked, I left hungry which isn’t what you want when willing to pay to get a decent meal.

Rocky had excellent customer service and was so friendly, couldn’t be more helpful. The food was delicious as always!

I'm in Tamworth for a couple of days of work, I'm so happy that I came to Marmion for my evening meal.....superb side dishes, rice and tandori roti, and not a crumb left on my plates. Excellent !

We had a table of 20 for my husband’s 60th Birthday, the staff were excellent and the service second to none. All the food came out piping hot and we were all served together - no mean feat! Food was delicious as always. Highly recommend...

Visited here for a family get-together. We went for the meal deal option, starter, main, and rice. The starter was lovely. However, my main wasn't nice at all. The meat wasn't good, and the sauce wasn't great. My rice didn't look nice and tasted weird. Other all it was a massive letdown, and others said the same, too. After spending £100 I went away hungry and disappointed. It's a shame really as my family had told me how nice it had been when they'd been in the past. I wouldn't visit again but maybe we visited on a bad day but hey.

Had 3 different curries that all looked exactly the same, bright red sauce and no veg in any. Bland taste, huge portion sizes but just not very tasty, left half of all the food as just wasn’t satisfying. The chilli garlic chicken wasn’t spicy unless you ate one of the chillies in it which then blew your head off, the murgi masala was just bland and the egg over cooked with a weird skin on the outside and the balti didn’t even look like a balti, bright red sauce, no veg, bland again. Naan bread was dry and tough, again very bland. Unfortunate as the service was good on the phone and during collection but we won’t eat here again.

We visited this restaurant for the first time last night for my son's birthday. We were impressed with the quality of the food and the Rocky's friendly service. The starters were particularly tasty. Each one we had was designed for two sharing. One based on meat and the other fish. Very recommended. I will be returning. Thanks for a lovely birthday night out. One small problem noted: no hand drying method in the disabled toilet meant loads of water building up on the floor, which then made it even more tricky for disabled users.

This restaurant is such a fabulous find in our local town .. Rocky makes you feel like family when you walk through the door. The food is excellent .. great salmon for a starter melted in the mouth .. king prawns for main course such...

When this restaurant first started it was clean, and the food was great. But it is very often seen where standards slip and no maintenance program. It’s always freezing cold inside, radiators were off again last night. The floor was slippy with goodness knows what....

One of the worst places I’ve ever eaten, I had high hopes for this place looking at the reviews before going. Rude staff that have got attitudes, dirty plates and filthy toilets. Avoid this place if I were you.
