Really good beer and fantastic good pub grub . Best value for money eatery I've found for a long time drinks and food for 3 people at 30 quid cheap as cheaps good portions .

First, the food here is incredibly good. Both my dinner (fajitas) and the Sunday carvery were excellent. Each was better than I expected. Service is very so so. Everyone was nice enough but it was just - lacking. Case in point. 6 of us sat down for Sunday lunch. We were handed 5 menus that were all one inside the other and two one pagers that had the carvery options. So, we separated and passed them around. Just irritating things like that.

It's canal side with a traditional menu. Good value for such big portions. Great home cooked style food, highly recommended.

A beautiful spot next to the canal at Norbury Junction - we booked a table next to the window which was lovely. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Sadly, however, the service was very disappointing, especially at the end of the meal... By then the restaurant was very quiet and we ordered five coffees but received them in dribs and drabs so that the first person had finished theirs by the time the last of us had received ours. The table also wasn't cleared away and we ended up moving the plates ourselves to an empty table. A disappointing end to a lovely meal.

Our party of four enjoyed a first class lunch today; delicious, hot and well-presented food, and mouth-watering desserts, served by a friendly and efficient waitress. Our window table overlooked the canal and a busy boatyard. The meals were tremendous value for money; the Junction Inn is highly recommended.

What a gem of a find!!! Perfect setting, very good tasty 'homely' food, great value, great service. The staff could not be more helpful, friendly, faultless! I read the review, suggesting a refurb.....not so. The bar area where the dogs are welcomed, yes basic, but be realistic, my treasured one was made welcome and pampered, much rather that than not. The restaurant area warm and friendly, not trendy, not minimalistic, ( NOT posh prices), it is what is, LOVELY!!!

Recently went for a carvery with some friends, great food and great service. Nice views of the canal, narrowboats, etc. Defo would recommend 👌🏼

We enjoyed a fabulous carvery today. We booked in advance and had a table in the dog friendly bar. The carvery was fully booked but the daily food menu was on offer to those who did not book. The carvery was great and the staff were incredible. So kind and lovely at the carving deck thank you so much.

It was such a nice evening, decided to go for a drive,arrived at the junction and decided to have some food as it seemed quiet.Once inside the atmosphere was just right. The table was ideally located,the choice of menu was excellent considering it was mid week. Once ordered the meals came together,portions excellent and prepared to perfection.Again all the desserts on the menu were available and again served promptly. No complaints , thoroughly enjoyed! Will definitely return!.

Had a meal and a drink when visiting Norbury boat show, they were ultra busy but food was still quality

Went for carvery on Sunday 21st April, the meal was good apart from carrots and parsnips being too hard, but when complained we were offered a complimentary pudding free of charge which was amazing 😍

What a fantastic place to have a meal, and I'm definitely going back there again. Hopefully, the weather will be better so we can sit outside

Myself and my husband stayed in a nearby airbnb and went for a lovely walk down the canal with our dog on Saturday. We visited The Junction Inn for lunch (about an hours walk away) as this was on the canal that we’d were walking. Despite the dog being absolutely filthy they encouraged us to sit inside and warm up with her for a couple of hours whilst we ate. We ordered food which was lovely (great chips!) and had a few pints before our walk back. The service was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. We would highly recommend stopping for a bite to eat if you are passing through.

Called in for Lunch on a Winters Day, Great Log Fire with Views out to the Canal. The welcome and Service my Mom and me recieved was very Friendly. Our Food was excellent, served quickly, very tasty, nice and hot. Overall a very positive experience thank you very much.

As we were there on a Friday lunch time in Winter there were only another table of people so atmosphere muted but pleasant.

A decent pub with good ales and a well prepared, but fairly standard, menu set next to the Norton Junction canal basin. If you have children who like feeding ducks (and swans, if they are brave) then this is a good place to go. The car park is large and the pub is worth visiting. Sitting outside, you can watch the longboat activity and dream of hring a your own longboat from the centre opposite. at weekends the pub is busy and it is worth booking a table in advance.

Tha Junction is a brilliant place, the food is always great and the staff are fantastic and friendly.

Plenty of parking. Great location by the canal. Big garden which is lovely on a nice day. Big inside. With moorings and boaters passing through, it's usually fairly busy, but service is quick and friendly. Draught beer is good, Pedigree and their own named brew. Big portions, reasonably priced. As I write this I'm wondering why I don't buy a boat and live right by the Junction Inn

This is our go to eatery and drinkery ( I know it’s not a word 🤣) Always kind, pleasant and attentive staff who have fit us in without prior booking many, many times. Nothing is ever too much trouble even when we have asked for meals that are no longer ‘on the menu’ Good selection of real ales and the food has been wonderful on every visit. Thank you for always accommodating us and top marks for the proper grub! Can highly recommend all of the steaks, the legendary Big Mick burger and the home made biscoff cheesecake. Lovely for a peaceful evening drink at the side of the wharf. Cheers 🍻

Called in for a carvery whilst visiting Norbury Junction. Food was excellent and I recommend the rare beef from the carvery. Really succulent meal. Will definitely give it another visit in the future!

Lovely pub in a beautiful setting! We ordered two baguettes and a kids chicken bites meal, and they were all lovely! I had the steak and onion and there wasn't a single bit of gristle or fat, and it was perfectly cooked. My son had the chicken bites which were pieces of proper chicken and the coating on them was lovely. Quick and friendly service, and clean loos too! Lovely surroundings, we had a nice walk along the canal after lunch and watched a few go by. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that cobwebs (the little hut in the beer garden) remains closed, I have so many memories of lunch here as a child followed by a visit to cobwebs to see what weird and wonderful thing I could bring home 😂

Weather was against us but the meal was lovely

We went to this pub for Sunday lunch..We didn't even book until the day before, but they fitted us in. The staff were wonderful! All so kind and patient with a little 2 year old and his 93 year old Great grandad. They looked after us far better than we could ever have expected. The food was lovely and not at all expensive. Little one even got to feed the ducks afterwards!

Good atmosphere, pretty good food.

This was our second visit in the last month, like our 1st visit the staff were so helpful and very obliging and friendly, despite the noise from our baby grandson the staff & customers were welcoming, he found his voice only this week and was rather loud, but no complaints at all, thank you for that. The food was superb, hot and tasty. The staff were attentive. Will be back again soon. Xxx

A fantastic pub in a lovely area. It is lovely place to have a walk with the dog along the canal and then have a drink and a meal in the pub. Food was fantastic with good sized portions and reasonable prices. The staff were fantastic being friendly and professional. Overall a fantastic place to relax and have a good meal. Lovely spot you can sit and watch the world go by we didn't go with food in mind but it looked very nice staff are very helpful and happy to help. The beer was most enjoyable too we will definitely return. Only one negative point the lane on the approach is very narrow so be careful and enjoy your visit.

A family and dog friendly pub. The food is typical pub fare, and a good variety too. The fireplace is a lovely place to sit in winter and the beer garden in summer. If you’re on a canal boat, this is definitely a place to stop for lunch or dinner.

Went in here after a Short and Social Ramble. Staff were lovely and friendly. The food was good. Would recommend a visit.

We went on a Thursday, I was really impressed that they had a separate menu for food allergies. My friend was vegan and it was easy for her to choose. My meal however, was not good. It was microwaved pie. I dare say it was homemade steak and Stilton pie, but was spoilt by the fact, that to reheat, they microwaved it. We were the only people in the pub… we would have waited a while for the e meal. Also, not home cooked chips. They were frozen. The venue is lovely, the staff are friendly….I really wish I’d opted for something that had to be cooked from fresh.

Absolutely delighted with the place. After a long walk around Norbury Junction, we decided to pop at the Junction Inn, we have not been in there for a couple of years and what a lovely surprise 😀. Proper local pub, spotless, nice wood fire, friendly staff and excellent food. Staff and owners should be very proud, you are all doing an amazing job.

Always a friendly welcome, staff are lovely garden is perfect, food is lively amd great value, one of my favourite places. Plenty of ducks and swans to feed and a great view from the garden.

Had a lovely meal with the family yesterday. Despite the heatwave, the pub being very warm and very very busy, the staff were cheerful, friendly and helpful . Nothing was too much trouble, even juggling their table reservations to find us a table in a cooler location. Thanks it was appreciated. Our meals were delicious , freshly prepared and good value.
