Nice food Nice people Not a rip off I’d recommend a try

Went as a family. The food from poppadoms to main meal were fresh, hot and very tasty. Best Lamb Rogan I have ever eaten. The lamb just melted in your mouth. The staff were very smart, attentive, polite, friendly yet professional and very welcoming. I will definitely be going back. Excellent value for money, thank you.

Went for a family meal. Very short notice but managed to get a table. Food was excellent, staff made us feel very welcome. My granddaughter bella enjoyed her visit there to. Well done to all staff for a great night.

AVOID ABSOLUTELY !!!. Disappointing experience. Poor service and subpar food quality & quantity. Staff seemed unprofessional, rude and poorly trained. Not recommended - there are better dining options available that offer better value for your time and money.

Disappointing. Decided to have something different was recommend something special tasted like sharwoods microwave meal. Tasted my wife's lamb jalfezi and daughters madras, both didn't look like a curry or tasted very good. Won't be back sorry.

Lovely time spent here for my sons birthday. 5 meals all beautifully cooked, prompt and attentive service.

Hits the spot! My wife and I visited over the weekend and had a lovely experience. The food was expertly prepared and tasted excellent, and the staff are wonderfully kind, helpful and knowledgable. Warm and very professional hosts. We have now bookmarked the location and will certainly return.

Went there for the first time recently and was not disappointed. Bit out of the way and parking a slight issue, but worth the effort. Nice atmosphere, good food and pleasant service. Extensive menu. Give it a try.

Have been with friends with our kids a couple of times. The staff team are really welcoming and friendly. The food is fabulous, plenty of vegetarian choices too.

Lamb chops was half cooked and Chicken Biryani was worst.

We've not been for a few months due to illness but as always greeted with a warm and friendly welcome and as for the food it was AMAZING as always.

I went here on Friday evening with my partner and was shocked that the place was nearly empty. The decor and surroundings are lovely and the staff were friendly and nothing too much trouble. The manager discussed specials and was very welcoming. The meals and drinks were a reasonable price and the food was delicious. I believe it was quiet because of the recent roadworks but on this experience I’m sure it will be back to busy in no time. I will definitely be going back.

Great tasting food,quick friendly service. This place is fantastic. In the evening you can use the national tyres carpark to park and enjoy one of the nicest meals I've had in a long time.

As good a chicken balti as I have ever eaten, fruity and anbsolutely delicious. If I am going to be ever so slightly critical, I prefer my naan bread as a big fluffy sphere, as opposed to it being cut into four pieces, but it too was delicious. Service was very good, polite and attentive. I loved it, and will be visiting again. Good value too.

Don't go anywhere else, we booked a group of 9 from Ireland on Facebook a few days prior to arrival and had a with a quick reply that was welcoming. As soon as we walked in we knew it was a good decision. Fantastic welcome, you automatically feel comfortable. The Food is beyond amazing words can't just go and enjoy.

First time at this restaurant and will definitely be going back. Great service. Staff were very welcoming and we didn’t feel rushed. Two curries, two naans and rice plus 4 beers came to £35. Great value. I recommend the Desi Karahi.

We visited tonight as an extended family of 9 originally from Coventry now living in Ireland, we were really looking forward to our visit for some really good Indian food and this restaurant did not disappoint it was just top Class, amazing service, first class food and we could not believe how reasonably priced this place was ! Such a lovely night .

Had two home deliveries so far and I can’t fault them at all, food was amazing. Delivery guy in a smart suit/friendly/polite, both times with free popadoms and dips. Definitely recommend 👍

The restaurant is Super clean, cosy, modern interior, owner and the staff members were very friendly and attentive. To top if all off, the food was soooo good, and its worth more than the amount we spent on it. Highly recommended.

Been in for a meal and was lovely, meal and service. Decided to try a takeaway, it was awful, the currys were watery and we had to hunt for the chicken in vast amounts of sauce. We ordered 6 poppadoms only recieved 2 with pots and pots of pickles and mint sauce. 2 portions of each samosas & onion bhaji was 2 tiny samosas and 2 bhajis. Not a good takeaway experience

i was on along drive back to London and decided to stop in Coventry for a curry as this was half way home. It was a quiet Sunday evening and when we arrived the restaurant was empty. Not to worry because we were met with a warm smile and some fantastic food. The restaurant was soon filling up and we had a great couple of hours with some graet food. The staff were friendly and itwas good food at reasonable prices.. Thank you

I booked a table for 13 people. The food was OK, but the service wasn't good at all, me and my husband arrived first waiting for family to arrive, we could tell the staff were very impatient and their manner was quite rude considering we had quite a large table that the customer service standard would be better, won't be returning, Food 5/10, customer service 1/10

We came as a group of 6, all had different meals and we tried each others. Each was brilliant really taste. I had the lamb and it was reallygood quality. Very clean place and the staff couldn't do enough we felt that they wanted us to fully enjoy the meal. Defo coming back and bringing my family

Had a great meal with my Daughter yesterday. Great service, lovely food and best of all great prices. Had the works for two of us including 2 x gin and a Pint of cobra was £56, pretty much the same meal and drinks in another local restaurant was £80. Overall superb defo worth a visit you won't be disappointed.

Well the service was good, but at the same time it wasn't. I'm indian Asian and I went there with my friends. When we first entered it was full of white people, confusing as the reviews said the food was good so I though lots of Indians will be there. How the cuisine is made its directly made for white ppl. Like the food was dry, I ordered fish it had bones, i was physically choking on the bone, the butter chicken was to sweet. The way it was plated was deffo for white, I had fish with raw onions and peppers like what and I had fried rice. Yeah no... the rice was just boiled in hot water no salt no fried Ness no nothing, tasted like oatmeal.... its rice how can u mess up rice. My friend had garlic naan, there was minched up garlic just chucked on the bread not even mixed or anything, just thrown there.The service was good like the food was on time but since we were Asian ppl there they kinda rushed us, like asking if we were done and they would eye us before the went to the kitchen. The coke was flat. If it was an Indian cuisine why couldn't they call it achar meaning pickle in punjabi. The prices were good, 12.90£ decent price.

This curry house was new to us. Staff are great and they make you feel welcome. We have eaten twice at pickles. First time was at the restaurant and it was ace. All the dishes we ordered were great. The second time we visited was for a takeaway collection. Sadly this was a really bad run. We ordered four dishes and all of them had the same sauce. Followed with a burnt smell. Never have I had a curry order where the sauce was the same on all four dishes (saag, okra, balti, and jeera). Normally I would say that’s a rookie mistake but this mistake was below that. Almost deliberate and lazy from someone who decided to do this. All restaurants have there up and downs and I wouldn't knock this place entirely off because I enjoyed eating in. Takeaways after that dilemma? No chance.

I picked up a takeaway for me and the family, never been to this restaurant before. I thought I’ll try it out because of the good reviews. Staff very friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing. I have been to most Indian restaurants in Coventry and I will describe the food from Paprikas as one of the best. It will be my new regular.

Very Rude, highly unprofessional, disrespectful behavior (probably owner) even you have confirmed booking. Never ever will think to visit this place again. Never ever. They don't deserve single star even.

Disappointed with the food. Felt the food was prepared some days back and simply heated before serving to us. That's actually normal in uk but felt like it was prepared some weeks back. Chicken tastes really bad. When we complained about this to the people in the hotel, they asked whether we know this dish or whether we tasted prior. That question really disappointed us and didn't expected this behaviour from them. Briyani is not authentic, it's felt like normal tomato rice.

Obsolutly disappointed with the food. Seeing Google reviews we expected it to be good, but not worth it. Most of the reviews seems to be not genuine. Meat is half cooked, there is raw smell. Currys are all taste same, both chicken and aloo. Curry seems to be reheated left over. Biryani is a disaster. Rice is half cooked. Avoid this place if you looking for authentic Indian cuisine. And staff seems to act sarcastic.

worst food experience I had in pickles, Meat was half cooked and having raw taste. Staff were just ignoring when complaining the raw taste. Aloo and chicken currys taste more or less similar. Expected lot more from pickles.

We had a brilliant experience here. The food was fantastic, they happily catered for my vegan diet and it’s the best customer service we’ve had in a long time. Highly Recommend

Had tried to go to two other Indian restaurants in the city centre where we were staying but no joy so having checked trip advisor for suggestions we made the walk to Pickles in the hope of getting a table, it was relatively early in the evening but upon arriving we could see that it was already pretty busy, but they managed to squeeze us in. Had a very enjoyable meal of chicken garlic chilli, just the right amount of heat in the spices. Staff were friendly which is always a bonus.

Visiting Coventry and fancied an Indian. Walked to this one (20 mins). Fantastic. I had a biriani. My wife had a chicken tikka. Superb. Enhanced with a pint of cobra. We’ll be back.

Worst food ever had till now i have ordered 5 items 2 starters chicken and lamb tikka(average) and main course with garlic naan’s and chicken murgh(below average) and a chicken haleem in this they gave us the chicken gravy with 4 small chicken tandoori pieces inside and they call it as haleem(*im attaching the image of chicken murgh and chicken haleem please guess which one is haleem because both tastes the same) really disgusting and disappointed please do not waste your money by going to this restaurant i suggest (Delhi 76)is far better than pickles. i don’t want to hurt anybody this is my own opinion! Thanks

Staff still as friendly as ever and they still remembered us even though we hadn't been for literally years. Food not as good as it used to be...chicken in my meal was quite tough. It felt like ingredients in curry had been cooked separately and thrown together last minute to reheat together..no cooking slowly together to marry all flavours. Prawn puri starter nice....and large.
