I ordered through the website, after a while the order was cancelled and my money was temporarily frozen, I called the restaurant, the lady said they had a problem with the pizza but you can order anything else, so I placed a second order without the pizza and it was also cancelled and the money was temporarily blocked again, after another call the lady said they were closed and had a problem with the website, it would be good to provide this information earlier, I wonder how many people were so disappointed today, it's a shame because their pizza is really tasty
Lovely local, food always cooked great, staff really friendly, lounge area for families eating and bar area if your just having a drink, favourite place to go and watch the footy.
First time here. Ime going to Morocco next month so tried this restaurant. Exerlant food and service could not fault it in anyway great value for money £20 each 2 courses. Definitely going to return
Amazing little coffee shop. Their vegan scones are SO good. We recently had the toast sandwich with vegan cheese and mushrooms and it was the nicest sandwich we had for a long time!! There's always a vegan cake available too. We live in the area so walk past a lot and there's reason they are always so busy.
So many vegan options! Highly recommended :)
Great room, lovely shower and comfortable bed. The location was great for our needs and the staff very friendly. I know other reviews complained about the breakfast box, but I thought it was nicely done and there’s a Toby Carvery 5 minutes away which does all you can eat breakfasts!
We went for a Sunday roast but no longer on menu. Settled for Fish and Chips. Good portion but although the batter was crispy the fish was underdone as if it was still frozen when it went in oil. For a Sunday lunchtime it was very quiet with no atmosphere but still a long wait for our meals.
First and last visit I'm afraid.
Great pub with a fantastic selection of local beers. The staff were really friendly, and there was a lovely community vibe you could tell everyone knew each other. A real gem to stumble upon while waiting for a train.
As someone who has travelled to Thailand nearly ten times and is a big fan of Thai cuisine, I was really impressed by how authentic and flavourful the dishes here were. Everything was beautifully presented, and the taste was spot on.
• Salt and Pepper Squid: Surprisingly fresh and tender, with a light, crispy coating—absolutely delicious.
• Vegetarian Spring Rolls: Perfectly crispy on the outside with fresh, tasty vegetables inside.
• Chicken Satay: Juicy and tender chicken paired with an authentic satay sauce and crushed peanuts—it felt like a mini Southeast Asian getaway.
• Pad Thai: Soft rice noodles stir-fried with vegetables and juicy prawns, with a perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavours—very appetising.
• Green Curry Beef: Tasty beef in a rich, Thai-style green curry sauce. Not too spicy, so it’s great for those who prefer milder flavours. Perfect with rice.
• Prawn Crackers: Crispy and tasty—a great finishing touch to the meal.
The service was excellent—staff were friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. It would be perfect if they added some Thai drinks and desserts to the menu!
The restaurant staff were very friendly and kind my family and I went there for my birthday and the service was good the food was delicious and they surprised me with a cheesecake slice for my birthday with a candle and happy bday song, I didn't tell them it was my birthday but they were listening to my brothers conversation and hearf
Great pizza but it’s such a shame that you have to pay £2.50 extra for vegan cheese. It feels very unfair to be punishing both people who can’t help not eating dairy and those who choose not to for ethical reasons.
