Highly recommend visiting Marrakech restaurant. Amazing tagline dishes which were piping hot and spices were amazing. Staff service was amazing, you won’t be disappointed with the immaculate service given by Siham, friendly and professional throughout my dinning experience.

It was alright, probably won't organise another meal there. All of our food looked and tasted the same.

The food and service was top notch in this place. I went in a group of four, and three of us had specific dietary requirements. We made many amendments to the order and the staff and chef were very accommodating. A special mention to Siham, the waitress, she was patient, cordial and very considerate towards our requests. Also, thank you to the chef for making the necessary adjustments. 5 stars from me!!

I went to this restaurant to dine in with a party of four. Our group was greeted with a smile by a very friendly waitress (Siham), Siham promptly seated us and attentively listened to our order. Our group had certain requirements due to diets and other issues. Our order was slightly complex and we changed it a couple of times whilst we gave the order. Yet throughout the interaction we were treated with warmth, consideration and immense understanding. Our party ordered a mix of tagines and kefta dishes. The food arrived and was piping hot, it was tasteful and each flavour was fresh and immense. I could taste everything deeply from the meats to the vegetables, everything seemed fresh and tender. The atmosphere was like the embodiment of Moroccan hospitality. It's one of the hidden gems in Birmingham. 10/10

This is my second review of Marrakech and we still love the food here. More people should be enjoying the excellent tagines and many other dishes on the menu, like Tunisian hummus and the calamari. Cheese and spinach pastries also very good. Personal smiley service from Siham who makes us feel so welcome. A great tasty meal for a very reasonable price. Dishes can all be ordered spicy, so good!

We're excited to have such a great restaurant right near us. Their special tagine, It's amazing, honestly one of the best I've had. The prices, Totally reasonable. And the service, Just spectacular. Plus, the lady who runs it is so welcoming! We're so happy we gave this place a try - it's quickly become our favorite 😍

Restaurant had no heating on lol… in the peak of January…. i had to sit and eat tagine in a full coat and wool scarf. My tagine was cooked perfectly! succulent, juicy and full of flavour. i absolutely loved the naan that accompanied the tagine. All of my meal was perfect. I also loved the traditional arabic music playing in the restaurant too. * a kids menu, would be a good addition to the menu. Parking can be found on the road outside of the restaurant and on the side roads opposite.

Disgusting food and service from four eyes

Dropped in as restaurant we were going to had closed their dining area. Early evening as going on to theatre in Birmingham. Although we were the only ones there we were made to feel very welcome. Ordered the vegitarian cus-cus and a lamb tagine with flat bread and olives. Food arrived freshly cooked and really hot. Absolutely delicious. We even enquired as to how the cus-cus was cooked to achieve it's seperate quality and were advised that it was a steam process. Although it is a distance we will try and return soon.

This restaurant is really great for good, Moroccan style food at great prices. It's not as busy as it should be for the quality of food here. So tasty. Lovely tagines. And take your own alcoholic drinks! More people should be enjoying this place.

Loved it. I have been a couple of times before on my own, but took the family this time. All of the mains were very flavoursome and fresh, and the portions were generous (despite not seeming like much initially). My daughter walked out with positive feedback, and so it looks like all being well, we will be back.

A really lovely place. The food was outstanding. We had tagine Sultan and lamb el bacha, both of which were amazing.... cooked quickly, full of flavour.... the Tunisian hummus starter was a surprise too, spicy and delicious. Great value for money, friendly service.. highly recommended.

Ordered 2 main meals. Ended up with three. I told them the waitress i didnt order the third meal as there is only two of us. She didnt say anything. The bill had three meals and ended up paying for this and got no apology for the mistake. Poor service but the food was nice.

pleasantly surprised. place was empty but since the football was on wasn't surprised. initially dubious but decided to eat there as a family of 6. food was authentic, fresh, tasty and service very good. Wasn't keen on the music but slowly drowned it out with conversation.

We went to this restaurant first time . We had very bad experience. Girl at the front seems like forced to work . She had no idea of menu and very bad attitude. No heating. We forced to give main order otherwise they-can’t serve us . Not going back !!!!!!!!

I would like to thank the nice people who work there. I had dinner there tonight and it was so delicious and so healthy ! The Tagine Casablanca with Tagine Dajaj “chicken” are amazing, the Couscous was authentic and tasty ! finally a beautiful refreshing Moroccan tea. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to try the authentic tasty moroccan food ! I will come back again for sure 👍🏽

This is a truly authentic Moroccan restaurant, food is delicious and the owner very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our evening there.

Visited today and have to say food was really stunning. Me and hubby really enjoyed our starters and mains. The waitress who served us was lovely too. However, the service was abit slow, but we did visit during a busy period. All in all, would recommend to friends and would most definitely return. Thank you marrakech!

Ordered lamb brochettes with salad & chips. Meat was bland and tough to cut, chew & swallow. Would have been nice to have a sauce or dip. Only 1 member of staff covering the reception, taking orders, serving & cleaning tables. Poor ambience. We heard a dispute with the table behind us and, instead of trying to resolve the issue, the manager was very rude to them. Will not be returning.

First time we tried this restaurant. I went with my wife and two sons on a Saturday evening around 6pm. It was pretty quiet, we were the only customers, and we began to wonder whether we had made a mistake. Thankfully, we hadn’t, the quality and flavour of the food was amazing. I’m sick of restaurants that spend a fortune on decor and art with little substance. This is definitely one with substance over style. We’ve eaten at ‘fancier’ Moroccan restaurants in Birmingham, this was far better. We will definitely go back.

I would have given minus 3 stars. I waited one hour before the waiter came to me, then I ordered three course meal, but the waiter would not take my order unless I also ordered a side dish which i didn't want. So I didn't order, the kind lady next to my table said I could have few of her chips, which I did, they were soggy, my local chip shop cooks better food then this restaurant. I would never go to this restaurant again and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to go there either. Very poor service.

My sister treated me to a lovely meal that she purchased on Groupon . We were happy with the fresh dishes that were served..starting from the starters to the mains which were big portions and finished off with Morrocan mint tea that Suad the lovely cheerful waitress served us. Thank you,will come again for the fresh tasting tea's and the olives especially with humous.

It was quiet on a Sunday night, decor was quite simple, we are not locals so we were a little apprehensive, we ordered chicken tagine, and some rice. Portion size was big, and it was yummy. Quite warming and hearty food. Would definitely recommend and if ever in the area again will return.

Enjoyed a fantastic meal here on Friday evening. Staff friendly and helpful, food well presented and delicious. Very reasonably priced and you can take your own alcoholic drinks. Very tasty tagines, good sea bass, everything was really enjoyable. A great place to enjoy a good meal without it costing you a fortune.

My boyfriend and I got a Groupon voucher for here as a gift from my parents and we're so glad we used it!! The food was really tasty (quite large portion sizes!) and everyone was incredibly friendly, we'll definitely be back! :)

We had the Lamb Tagine Sahara and vegetable moussaka. Both dishes were tasty and authentic. Service was quick and the cost of our meal was reasonable. The atmosphere and ambience of Marrakech is not as good as or inviting as other restaurants in the area but the food was fine.

I bought a Groupon voucher to try somewhere new for my husband's birthday meal. We were extremely pleased with the purchase. The food was delicious and the tagine was served sizzling in a tagine dish (watch your mouth as the food is very hot!). Amazing flavours and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We opted to purchase some baklava and mint tea afterwards too. I highly recommend the mint tea! Great service and our meal was served promptly. Well worth a visit!

This was my biggest mistake for trusting him because when I arrived today with my family and mentioned this to Fuad, he said it would cost £29.99. I showed him a screenshot of how much the deal was on Groupon when I spoke to him (£23.96) when he said he will honor it however his response was that he did not want to get into an argument as he has had an operation. Please note this is not about the money but principle. I'm a strong believer that if one gives his word he should stick with it and maybe then it will also bring blessing to ones business. I made an half hour journey to get to this restaurant and left disappointed, embarrassed and ashamed. Extremely unprofessional and non trustworthy.

Went there via Groupon voucher for 4, costing £58. Not worth it as they limit what you can have from the menu and all the grilled food etc are not allowed. Didn't enjoy the food, and they no longer give the tea at the end of the meal.

Frickin ell!! This place is good!! A hidden gem in amongst the madness of Stratford Road. The staff are friendly, atmosphere is simple but impressive, menu is extensive and if you ask for extra spicy you'll have an explosion of flavours! Check out the pics and get down here fast! Lovely food, staff and place. Had vegetable and lamb tagines, salad and flat breads. All were tasty, good sized portions, well presented and served with a smile. The only thing you'll need to worry about is maybe crossing the road without being run over!! 5 stars!

Local for us and at least one visit every month. We love the tagines, impeccably tasty, service is amazing and a family friendly restaurant. Must visit.

Although we have used this restaurant several times (at least three times with a Groupon deal), we are very disappointed with our latest venture. I phoned to make a reservation, only to be told that the "Groupon deal" is for new customers only. Now unless I am missing a fundamental error, nowhere on my Groupon voucher does it state that the deal is for new customers only (otherwise I wouldnt have bought the deal). My disappointment is that we introduced a lot of new customers to this establishlishment before lockdown and directly afterwards too. Warning to Groupon customers who have been to this premises before, be economical with the truth and deny that you have been there before! Well they have lost our custom for "good" and we will definitely not recommending them to any of our friends.

This place is amazing, my kids really enjoy the hummus, we've tried 2 different tagines which are incredible, the mint tea and baklava are also delicious. Also very clean and good service. Highly recommended.

Looking for something different for Sunday evening meal and found Marrakech Restaurant in Hall Green Warmly welcomed and as we were the first customers of the evening our waitress had plenty of time to talk us through the menu The restaurant is small but with a very good range of dishes to choose from, tables were well spaced out and the décor was delightful The service was efficient and the food was totally delicious, will definitely be back to sample other dishes

Really glad that this restaurant exists. Great food, authentically different and amazing value. If you're in the vicinity, please do yourself a favour and get a table.

If your a foodie and like to east quality food do take a visit here, the service was good and the food quality is on point. The Tagines come out absolutely boiling hot so it does take a little time for it to cool down. The restaurant is also unlicensed if that makes any difference to you. Was super happy with our food and reminded us of fond memories of a holiday we had in Marrakech

I love Morocan food and have been to quite a few Moroccan restaurants across the UK now. However this one produces the best food. It is quite a small place in Hall Green and a definite hidden gem. The range of dishes on offer was excellent and all of my group were able to choose something they really wanted and then blown away by how good it tasted when it arrived. In particular the tagines were amazing. This is the third time that I have been and I have had something different each time and loved every dish. Service was really very good and there is a BYOB option. They play authentic Moroccan music in the background. For very picky people, the decor might not wow them...it is simply decorated but this is a very low priority for me. I come for the food, to feel welcome and to have a good time. Would highly recommend.

Seven of us had a range of starters and mains. Good options; spicy meat balls bold flavour, Tagine Sultan sweet and subtle, Harira soup beautiful. Meat was perfectly cooked. Food was excellent. Very attentive service. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, very clean and good service. The starters were all fresh and delicious (cold and hot). We had three tagines, all of which were good (if you want traditional Moroccan flavours don't have it spicy - basically a handful of green chillies thrown in the tagine). The mint tea comes in a teapot with mint but it's basically a teabag.

Rang for a reservation 3 days in advance of the day we wanted to eat, was told they had no available tables other than at 5pm. Arrived at 5pm to an empty restaurant the remained empty for the hour and a half we are there, then 19 minutes before we finished a couple arrived and asked for a table for two without a reservation and were seated immediately. Whoever is answering the phone and taking the reservations needs sacking because you will not have any repeat customers when you lie to people like that and force us to eat 2 hours before you’d want or expect to eat a dinner. Food was average will not be coming back

Just arrived home after lovely meal here, we had tagines which were delicious. Staff very polite and friendly and on the ball. Defo be going back, very reasonable too.

I always enjoy a Moroccan meal so when travelling through Hall Green saw the Marrakech and booked a friday meal. Service was really friendly and food was excellent. I had a mini mix of Moroccan starters and my wife had some excellent garlic prawns. Good though the starters were the tagines were the highlight.. The Lamb Tagine Sahara was superb. Good portion and the lamb just melted in the mouth. Peppers, mushrooms with melted cheese on the top were a great combo but what stood out were the individual flavours of the underlying spices. All mopped up with a superb garlic flatbread, We will definitely return. My only extremely minor critical observation is that there are some atmospneric Moroccan pieces of decor which are probably not complemented by stark white tablecloths which must cost a fortune to launder!

Went first time and enjoyed our experience, the prawn salad was delicious, hummus and Moroccan bread was on point and soft, there tagine is one of best I’ve ever tried in Birmingham and kofta with rice was cooked perfectly. It’s a nice small clean restaurant and the staff is wonderful.. I would recommend this place 100%

Tried to book table ,gave my number and person on the phone just wouldn't accept that I call from private number and insisted I disconnected and call again from different number. I explained, I just have him my number and he can call me back to confirm is correct. There's many good places with polite service. AVOID .
