Excellent value for money with very good portion size. Food is also decent.

True gem for Middle Eastern cuisine lovers. variety of Kurdish dishes, each bursting with flavour and made with passion. The staff there were very welcoming and excellently serving their guests.

The staff are very deaf, they won't hear the order and give you the wrong food and get angry afterwards, and you have to wait until they bring you the food you wanted, that happens to me 2 times.

And the service we received was above brilliant! The lady which was serving us I think her name was Aida she had highlighted hair. Was so friendly and polite , was joking with my sons, making them and us laugh. Gave them sweets. I had to tell her that she is lovely and friendly she gave me back big smile. When we were leaving we forgot our packed food on table we were in car just about to drive a way when I saw her quickly walking towards our car with our food which we forgot. I thought waw this is very nice of her. If is it somewhere else they wud just put the food back in kitchen or throw it the bin. Food as usual was lovely I usually have same dish rice with lamb quzi and side dish okra - bamya absolutely love it. My husband had mixed quzi and kids had burgers. Restaurant is clean.

Kurdistan Restaurant is a fantastic place for freshly prepared food. The ribs and liver are some of the best I’ve had—tender, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. Their kebabs are also top-notch, tasty and delicious. Every dish we tried was packed with flavour and made with care. If you're after a meal that's both hearty and full of rich, authentic taste, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Best food I had in Birmingham. Period. I had an amazing slow cooked lamb which melts in your mouth. Price is unbelievably affordable. A simple 5 star ✨. They also served us some amazing rich soup as starter for free! Totally recommend it.

Went with the family and we were disappointed. We really wanted to love this place, the service was good and the staff were friendly but everything was just sooo salty. Even for someone like me who typically likes food more on the salty side, It's a shame as you could tell that the food WOULD have been really nice if they cut the salt down by at least 50%.

The food is good. However, I have some bad experience. The service is average, very responsible price. I would recommend. I become a regular customer of this restaurant, it's amazing food, great value for money. The قوزي simply delicious, well done chef.

Average food, nothing to shout about. Soup to start was excellent. For mains we got the large platter, lamb kebab was underseasoned and lacked flavour, rice was hard. Lamb chops overcooked. Chicken kebab also very average.

Been here twice in 10 days it's that good. If you want proper food at a reasonable price this is the place. Friendly staff, tasty fresh food and good customer service is all here! The lamb qozi and the lamb kebabs are highly recommended. I tried the seabass but it wad too strong tasting and had way too much lemon that I couldn't eat it (i asked for less lemon when ordering). The waitress was so accommodating and swapped the dish with no questions asked. Rare to find this standard of customer service so well done. Top place I highly recommend.

Good, tender lamb meat with soft and fragrant rice. Pretty decent, would visit again. Staff are lovely as well. The meat broth soup with lentils as appetizer they give with their meals is really good! Parking can be a bit of a hassle, but there is a residential area just across where you can park, albeit half on the curb. Prices are pretty good and the food is fresh.

Two weeks ago I went to Birmingham with my friend . We visited this restaurant, ordered one portion, lamb, minced kebabs, and one lamb kozi. The food was delicious and the price was very good. but I was surprised that one of the very nice and respectful service staff served us the food very well His name is moh . Everything was wonderful.

Definitely a hub for Kurdish locals and I'm guessing authentic food, staff very polite you get a small soup before your meal some bread I had a mixed grill simular to Turkish food but quite different at same time. It is very reasonably priced and was very busy but just not to my taste

Worst Kurdish traditional restaurant I’ve eaten in, the food was too salty and the service was just as bad as the food avoid it at all costs. There are other Kurdish restaurants nearby which serve better food.

Ok i came all the way from Manchester bermigham was on our way so we decided to go to a kurdish restaurant and have a nice meal. I ordered a lamb shish and a lamb kofta they got me 1 naan bread nd abit of salad which it was abit of lettuce 1 small peace of lemon 3 small peace of grilled tomato and bunch of onions and the same for my brother. And there was a waiter who was very rude he didn’t told us welcome he didn’t came to us we called him 10 times till he came nd i asked for the menu he went brang me the menu went to stand somewhere else so i had to call another waiter to take mans order and i was very disappointed and also the soup was absolutely disgusting like i had a spoon of it and putted it away And the shishs were ok not good but ok didn’t expect that really

We were on the way to the restaurant as someone recommended the place, called the to book some traditional kurdish food (bacha) the guy on the phone was so rude, he said if we get other customers asking for it, we'll sell it we can't hold it to you, i was trynna explain that we were on the way to it, he interpreted me saying naaah that's not my problem, what a bad service..

My flavour of the month is kurdish/turkish food. I had this place recommended to me so thought I'd give it a try.. The complimentary soup was nice, we ordered 3 dishes and strangely it all arrived on one plate which is not what we wanted. Flavour wise the ribs were not great, it was all fat no meat and very chewy, the kebab & chicken was ok. Maybe i will stick with my regular place as so far nothing has come close. 5/10

Very bad restaurant . Despite the good quality of food, the staff and the manager/owner treat people badly with poor tolerance to children and families . Food variants run out quickly and the restaurant add hidden fees without informing customers. They charge you if you spent more time even if you are staying for drinks ...etc. It is a covered fraud with no transparency.

I took my family for a meal. I ordered a family plater and to my surprise all the meats e.g lamb chops, wings, seekh kebabs and chicken were all off and smelled badly. Spoke to the manager but treated badly and even me charged fully for the meal. I have been there many times before but I advice everyone be careful before you go there. I have decided never to eat in this restaurant ever again promise. I give this restaurant a VERY VERY BIG BIG ZERO ZERO STAR.

Lovely KURDISH food, you need to visit this place

I love this place. They are lovely and kind men. I come here with my friend every week and never disappoint. The chicken is fresh and soft, fasolye is perfect and their rice/bulgar is amazing. I order to take out because it is so busy in there sometimes, goes to show how good it is !

Avoid! This is highly rated, read a lot of good reviews and decided to pay visit. Arrived at 11PM a couple weeks ago only to find it closed (despite their closing time online being listed at 3AM...). Came back the following week and I wish we hadn't. To quote the gentleman at the till "this is traditional kurdish food, this is the best kurdish restaurant in Birmingham". If it is then its an indictment on kurdish food as a whole. They could stand to learn a thing or two about spices from the British... We arrived at 8.30PM and every item on the menu was sold out. The waitress recommended lamb qozi over rice as an alternative to the biryani (according to her it's identical). What we received was boiled lamb with boiled rice. Likewise the chicken qozi is boiled chicken over boiled rice. The potato and okra sides tasted identical - a tomato sauce that's dominated with oil and salt. The mixed grill plate - a skewer each of chicken, lamb and lamb mince kebab, all of which were tough, dry and salty. The naan where cold and rock hard, shatter like a poppadom. The mixed salad to be fair was fine, but standard fare that you can get at literally any Arab joint in the city. The place is clean as are the toilets. Staff are friendly. No parking.
