Great little place with high quality and fresh Turkish food. The food here is once of the most authentic Turkish restaurants in uk, identical to some of the really good places in Turkiye. The iskender is amazing as are the kebabs. The place is a little small and can get busy very quickly, hopefully they expand in the future.

I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best Turkish meal I've had in the UK. The baklava and the lamb skewers with yoghurty eggplant base were legendary!!!

I came here on the recommendation of my friend from Nottingham, and it was totally worth it. People living in Birmingham are very lucky—rich menu, quality and clean ingredients, and that taste. Truly amazing!!!

I ordered the mixed kebab for two, and what arrived was a work of art. There's truly no taste like it!! I could eat it every day without getting tired, especially their baklavas!!

Went in with family, there special pizza was finished and we really wanted that. Asked for some water which they said they didn't do only bottles of water and said they don't give tap water. Food was very nice overall no issues. Drinks are £1.50 each for cans four cans for £6 and the multipack ones which I wouldn't mind but for that price. Would go again but take your own beverages.

Absolute hidden gem. Delicious food, lovely workers. Keep coming back. Shawarma is fantastic, platters are a must buy. Inflation has raised the prices but still not very expensive. Mostly takeaway but enough seating for 4 families ish.

Way too expensive... ordered a shish wrap some meat kofta covered in curry and some white yogurt on the side with riceand fries . Food was okish but 32quid. Never again lol oh two ayrans aswell and got charged 4 pound for abit of yoghurt and humus ... sorry guys will be difficult to come again with them prices and no complementarys I.e yoghurt or humas

This is the best Turkish kebab store in Birmingham. Although they’re offering mostly take away options, you may dine in there are a few tables. The food tastes amazing, the quality is at the top and the staff is very friendly. I am sure I’ll be visiting more in the future and if I were living close by, I would be ordering a lot.

Consistently good quality, tasty food. We used to get the platter for takeout, barbecued skewers of lamb, Sikh kebab, wings and donner meat with rice,chips and salad. Very yummy. Bit pricey, but not for what it is I suppose

Prices have crept up a little bit recently but these guys are still some of the best around. Their felafel wraps are full and tasty and their platters are a great option for an evening meal. Friendly staff too. Edit: they've jacked the prices up a ridiculous amount and lost my custom I'm afraid

As a Turkish I am a fan of lahmacun and it’s not easy to find a place to make good ones. Today I visited here for the first time and was so happy to try their lahmacun. It’s absolutely satisfying! My daughter loved it too. Unfortunately I live far from there, so I can’t be a regular costumer but I definitely recommend everyone this place. When I went inside I felt like I was in Turkey with all the decorations and they also offered me Turkish tea which was a great gesture. Thanks for the staff I forgot to ask his name who is from Adana :) Had a lovely chat also

Ordered ribs and rice, was absolutely shocked to see the ribs were little tiny bones with a very small about of meat (if any) Charged me £15 just for some rice and bones. Absolute rip off and over priced. Iv had ribs from many places in Birningham however never experienced this. Poor quality

I had a fantastic chicken kabab pitta, great value at £8 for the whole meal including a generous portion of crispy chips (I'd already eaten 80% when I took the photo - they were that good!) fresh garlic sauce and a drink. Nuri provided great service and even gave me some tips for my upcoming trip to Turkey - love the new loyalty scheme too - will definitely be back!

If you're in the mood for some delicious Turkish food but don't have time for a sit-down meal, Marmaris is the perfect choice. The food is always hot and fresh, and the portions are very generous. I highly recommend the mix grill platter . it's packed with flavor and always hits the spot. And the staff is always friendly and accommodating, making the whole experience that much better. All in all, a fantastic take-away restaurant that I can't recommend highly enough!

Ordered a family platter for 5 people . Food arrived and was tasteless . Regularly eat Turkish food and know about the charcoal taste !. The food delivered was tasteless with no charcoal taste, it was barbecued on a gas grill . The ribs had more bone than meat . They have reduced the size of their portions . I normally get very good food from here but the standard has sadly fallen .

You can taste a good Turkish kebab here. The service is quite quick. The only problem is not having any bathroom in the store.

Usually very good although inflation has affected what you get and the prices have gone up but they have to make a living so we can't complain too much. We've been going there for years now and we'll continue for the foreseeable future. They used to put a pomegranate dressing on the bread but they seem to have stopped to, presumably, save money .

We went on the off chance that we could eat in and have a meal. Although mainly geared as a take away we felt perfectly comfortable sitting in, and was dealt with professionally and quickly. The food we ordered was a platter for two, which was absolutely amazing, served with Turkish bread too, not pittas. An absolutely delicious, filling meal, everything cooked well and extremely tasty. Great find £28 for the platter for two. No extra charge to eat in. Great place to grab a bite before going to a gig at the Hare and Hounds.

Very simple seating with beautiful light fittings. We ordered, sat and then took home some beautiful tasting simple Turkish based fast food. I had the chicken salad wrap. Freshly made, (watch the staff do it in the open kitchen).

Wow reviews seem so good but this place is standard and far from the best.. My wings were cooked but no taste or flavour not even from the charcoal which seemed odd. Rice was not hot enough and I have don't play around with rice (me and food poisoning ain't friends). Salad comes in the same box so that was warm also yuck. This £7.99 meal went in the bin. Service was polite but food not worth the cost or the drive.

Quite disappointed with this place, you would have thought it would server authentic turkish style food.. I ordered the mix meat and fries and it want one of the worst i had, the lamb doner was the stuff you find in chippies nationwide, not fresh meat doner like i was expecting, the chicken shawarma was bland and not very fresh by the looks of it. The best thing was the Turkish bread 🙃

The flavours in their grills is amazing. The kebabs and meat is possibly the best Turkish ones I have had so far in Birmingham. Looks like a small shop but food is top class. The lamb chops and ribs are awesome. Highly recommend this if you want good Turkish flavours.

Place recommended to me by a Turkish friend. I've lived and travelled extensively in Turkiye, and love the food, warmth and hospitality of my Turkish friends. However, this place failed to deliver. I ordered a few portions of Iskender (lamb) kebab at £13.00 each. Having had many of these in Turkiye, My benchmark is quite high, perhaps unfairly. Anyway, long story short, the Iskender was mainly a disgusting, salty meat, the cheap variety you find in your average takeaway - elephant's leg as we say. None of us finished it because the portion was huge. Huge because it contained loads of very cheap meat. All three of us were sick - really sick. We all had diarrhoea that night! Always a bad idea eating from takeaways in the UK...not the real thing, not even close sadly.

I shouldn't post this. I shouldn't, but I will. This place is prob one of Kings Heath's best low key secrets. They do the usual donner kebabs, but then they do their Turkish charcoal kebabs, platters, fish and even stew. You can ring up in advance and collect when it's ready. It's cash only, but there's literally a cash point on the other side of Drayton Road that's about 20 steps away so no bother at all.

Fantastic food and huge portions

Food was very good. Iskandria platter was very delicious, generous quantity. Staff was kind. Place was clean. However, very long waiting time for dine in, and it was annoying to see that they prioritised delivery orders over the customer sitting right infront of them. (Even though delivery orders were recieved after I placed my order).

Want to get ripped off ? Then you've got to get food from here paid £13.49 for a small container of food. Shame on you times are tough you've increased your prices and decreased the portion size 1

Simply over priced ! Paid plus £50 for a meal for 3 and £5 for additional salad 🥗 bowl . Service wasn't good either my daughter was so worried about the guys at the bk of the shop look angry!!!! Food wasn't that tasty either Starter was so little and dry too ... Charged £5 extra to dine in with out any service. Nothing right compared to other Turkish restaurants we visited in past . That was my first and last visit there !

Traditional Turkish grill cooked by real pros. The food is spot on, we had the mixed family platter which was a very generous portion. All the pieces were cooked well, juicy and moist, spiced properly, served over rice and bulgur. The salad, hummus and sauces are all fresh and taste great. Served with hot bread (sprinkled with sumac and pepper I believe). Delicious. The service was on point, we had a large party and they managed to make room for us in a very small dining area. Everything was spotless, you can see the standards they hold for themselves are high. More of a takeaway than a sit down restaurant but well worth going out of your way for if you're looking for proper quality Turkish food. Birmingham could do with more places like this that take pride in their food.

Tried as take-away few times. Very good restaurant. Authentic Turkish chefs and cuisine. The grills are very good. Doner is very good but not the best I have ever tried. Overpriced a little bit especially for add-ons and sides/drinks. Staff friendly. Place clean. Performance stable over many take-aways

After reading the Tripadvisor reviews I decided this was the place to come to. Small looking takeaway, but when I went in one of the patrons said "You can't really go wrong here." So I made a big order, took it home and it was delicious! The kids were eating it without making a noise, which is always a good sign - I just wish that I had ordered more lamb shish kebabs, because they were really moist and juicy and the kids demolished them:) Really good food - this will be my go to place for any mixed grill in the future - just watch out for the sea bass with the little ones as it has plenty of bones.

Best Turkish food I’ve ever had. I dream about it and am DYING to go back.

So we ordered platter 3. They give bread with salad and sauces as a starter. Therr is no garlic sauce but a mint chutney which is more Asian than Turkish. The salad was horrible. The platter itself was fairly nice, the wings had no flavour but the bulgur and kebabs were cooked and were okay. The issue is the price is very high but the taste isn't quite on the spot compared to other Turkish places I've been. I really think you have to go to London to get the best Turkish food.

It’s a little “take-away resturant BUT, the food is tasty and cheaper. Staff and friendly and nice. It came up as first option when I asked Siri “show me the best Turkish restaurant in Birmingham” and I believe it wasn’t wrong.
