Mak Halal Ladypool Road in Birmingham

I came down to try out the chicken parmesan at mak halal and they didn't disappoint. I got the Italian parmesan and would suggest people to try it out aswell. The staff are friendly and the service was amazing.

Absloute amazing experience i cant remember the brothers name however he was yemeni he emheated uo my dessert for me even though he didnt have to he always knew the menu and acc gave recommendations

We visited Birmingham on holiday and had lunch at Makhalal Ladypool Road. The service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the staff was friendly. Umair was particularly great—he welcomed us with open hands. I highly recommend Makhalal, especially Ladypool Road, to anyone visiting Birmingham. It’s clean and offers a wide variety of food options.

Extremely Disappointed – Unacceptable Experience! I had an absolutely terrible experience at Mak Halal today. First, the wait time was ridiculously long. I understand that good food takes time, but waiting this long for a simple order was frustrating, especially with no clear communication from staff. Then, when I finally got home, ready to enjoy my meal, I was completely disgusted to find a hair stuck inside the butter. Not just on top—inside. This is beyond unhygienic and unacceptable. It ruined the entire meal, and I had to throw everything away because I couldn’t trust the cleanliness of the food. I expected much better from this place, but after this experience, I don’t think I’ll ever be returning. Hygiene and customer service need serious improvement. Absolutely disappointed.

I had the pleasure of being served by Abd Al Malik, Mohammed during my recent visit, and I must say the experience was exceptional from start to finish. They were incredibly attentive, polite, and professional, striking the perfect balance between friendliness and efficiency. Terrible service on ubereats. Don't waste your money, they don't send the right items.They will just send whatever they want.If you add extras to any of your meals and pick the specific drinks, they will not send you what you ordered.It's happened on multiplications occasions.

OMG. You must try the new BRISKET burger 🍔 I had the BBQ flavour and it was amazingly delicious 😋. It was soo soft to mite in that I could go their again and again. New KOREAN BBQ burger New CHIMICHURI burger There were two flavours l, I recommend trying both but my best one was the KOREAN BBQ. I would say in the CHIMICHURI it needs a bit more of it inside the burger 🍔 but was over all delicious 😋 Also the other things missing was cheesy sauce to go with it as a choice.

Why say open till 4am if you’re not going to take orders at 3:30am, makes no sense.

It took 35 mins for the food to arrive after I complained about the wait, food was dead, no flavour and worst of all , a huge beetle was crawling under the table which scared the s#it out of the kids, toilet floor were very slippery. Not impressed at all

Shame about the 2 for 1 scam on deliveries. They double the price of the item on the app so its not really 2 for 1

Normally the food is never an issue as it's usually quite good but last time we waited 45mins for our food! And it wasn't just us, nearly everyone was complaining about the extremely long wait!

Came in with the family, ordered a mixture of food. It was reasonably priced. I ordered the treat box and a pizza deal. The chicken loaded fries and Donner was spot on, burger needed some work. It had a weird after taste, pizza was decent. Customer service was overall great. They gave my parents free karak tea on the house

Visited with my family, food came out fresh, service was impressive the lad really looked after us, ordered 2 teas after the meal which they did not charge us for. Will definitely visit again

Avoid at all costs. I order a grilled chicken burger meal which caused food poisoning, which lead to me being sent to hospital. Disgusting

More spacious than the Hall Green branch with seating upstairs as well. Service was good and food was delicious as usual. Tried the new brisket chimichurri burger. Excellently made. Service as always top notch.

Delivery Order Review: The food is absolutely 1* quality. The cheese on the cheesy pizza, tasted, smelled off. The burger was a ‘Smash patty burger’ the meat was not fresh. I ordered a ‘Extra patty’ that did not come. They also use a BBQ sauce on the burger without saying on the menu. Only thing was good Irn Bru

Clean Tasty Reasonable Thank you

Food was okay and reasonably priced Service was really bad, some guy with short beard on the counter seemed so miserable and really unfriendly, not the type of person you would put in a front facing for customers. He takes your order then doesnt even acknowledge seems he lacks understanding of customer service. Then just ends up sitting on his phone Hire better people who seem to care about their job!!

I went there at midnight for spicy chicken fillet burger meals and tried their karak chai. It was delicious, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for good halal food. The staff was very friendly too. Definitely going there again.

I visited MAK for a quick dinner with the family. Food: the food was good in general. The chicken pizaa dough was just right, and the pizaa was great. Moving to the rice box, it was really delicious and It was the favourite dish on the table. Another star was the cheesy philly, I would also recommend it. The kids chicken nuggets was not really tasty. Service: the staff are friendly, however the tables were not clean. Avoid visiting the toilet as its not clean either . Atmosphere: two floors to choose from, in general good atmosphere

We come here as a family at least once per month. Delicious burgers, daughter loves kids meals. Staff are always polite and friendly. Its our go to place. Great for families and groups. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Food is always spot on, would definitely recommend to all.

Visited Makhalal Ladypool Road on Saturday 13th July 2024 around 11pm with my family, ordered several burger meals including grilled chicken burger and beef burgers, a panini, popcorn style chicken. All the food was freshly made, tasted really good! The mixed grill sandwich (not a traditional sandwich) is absolutely beautiful! The taste and amount if filling is excellent. Definitely my favourite thing on the menu. Had the biscoff shake afterwards, probably the best biscoff shake I've had.

Have been here on a couple of occasions now & the food has always been great. Service was also very good. Some of the chairs & tables are looking old and tired though & the bin needed emptying but apart from that it was all good

Ordered via uber eats, multiple delivery drivers came and went, order was delayed multiple times, what a joke. Dont accept so many orders that you cant complete. How long are you gonna make your customers wait? Just decline the orders until you can actually make the food.

I dined in on Sunday, the food was fantastic, tasted really fresh and flavourful. Cooked perfectly and the salad was crunchy. I was served by Umair, and it was some of the best service i’ve had on Ladypool Road in a very long time. I tried their Karak Tea and it was lovely. I would definitly reccomend trying.

Another great burger place for kids. The food was served in good time, and the grilled chicken was very good quality. Overall, it's a clean spot and value for money!

This was a late night meal. Two burgers, grilled wings, 9"pizza. I wouldn't say this is amazing food because it's your standard items but having said that mak halal is not trying to be what it's not, in fact it owns it's niche very well and I'm guessing 9/10 times there consistent too. The grilled beef burger was actually grilled and not passed through a pizza machine or deep fried like most places, the smokiness from the charring was clearly present. The seasoning could have been better though, but tasted as expected. 8/10 The chicken burger had a good sauce however the lettuce was off and had a weird smell. The chicken it self was not cooked all way through but wasn't raw, confusing but I`d like to think this is uncommon. 6/10 The cheesey pizza had more cheese on it then your avrage pizza place would put on, the taste was there how ever the base was identical to a frozen pizza from Asda and absolutely flat like a frisbee, almost short breadish. Then again Mak halal is not trying to be a artisan neopolitan. 7/10 In my concluson a lot of improvements can be made, this however would lead to a price increase to the consumer. Mak halal is definitely on its way to become the Macdonald's of Birmingham but it would be better if they would limit the menu to focus on brand defining items.

First time I had been here and certainly won’t be the last. Food was great and the service was even better. Young man Lukmaan was a great host and looked after us, no pun intended! Burgers were fresh and tasty and were polished off without any issues. Spent £50 between 7 of us including 3 kids which entitled us to free desserts! Followed up by a nice cup of karak chai, what more could you ask for?! Keep up the good work!

Ordered a Philly steak sandwich. It was not a Philly steak but a cheap cheese burger cut up in a cold baguette. They need to change their menu from Philly Cheese to Cheap cheese burger baguette.

Secret sauce they mentioned the name of sauce it’s worse sauce ever in my life smelly and extremely sour my wife asked them to change but they refused and said it’s our secret sauce it wasn’t in the menu my wife ask to change the burger they denied rudely and when she ask what to do should I through in the bin they said you could .I went to counter and tell them this is not the way you should exchange they keep on behaving rudely so I tell them to keep the money as charity from my side , if any one want to pay sadaqa and donate money then you may give there may b they are very needy people working out there
