Absolutely STUNNING! We ordered on UberOne and it did not disappoint!! We had 2 orders of 5pcs chicken tenders with peri peri and lemon seasoning, utter perfection honestly! Plenty of seasoning and wow… the cheesy chips were heavenly!! Not to forget the chicken Gyros which was unbelievable! Will DEFFO be ordering again and will 100% be referring friends and family to this amazing place!

Just ordered for the first time came quickly I can't fault it at all I had the lamb gyros bowl and ny partner had chips and sausage the meat was so juicy and flavoursome amazing portion sizes great value for money will definitely order again

I haven't personally been to your shop a friend bought me some food spicy chicken strips chips and garlic mayo first time I've eaten from you and the food was delicious hot and well presented and I myself have worked in chip shops for many years my first when I was 14 yrs old I thoroughly enjoyed it and I will in future take the walk from Rednal Road by the medical ctr to eat from your business and I also know how good feed back is appreciated

What a chippy!! Hands down one of the best around here. I happily drive past 4-5 chippies to go here for a number of reasons. The food is spot on, there's a good variety and things you don't see in a lot of other chip shops and the staff are top of their game, they're so friendly and happy and Anthony is what makes this place, he welcoming and friendly and appreciates everyone who steps through the door. I always used to order through food apps until I went in myself, and will never order from here through the food apps again as going in store is 10x more worth it.

Food is fantastic and matched by the service. Lovely team and wouldn’t go anywhere else now! The chips especially are some of the best in the area and their chicken meat is my favourite thing ever. The shop is a family run business and you can tell the team work well together. Great selection of products including freshly made pizza alongside the traditional chip shop menu. Would 100% recommend, you won’t regret it!

What an absolutely awesome meal! Best takeaway pizzas we have ever eaten in Birmingham and we've tried a lot 🤣 The sourdough base was perfectly cooked- not too thin but not too thick either, just a healthy bit of depth to hold the topping of dreams 😍 The meats are unreal- soft, tasty and seriously delicious, the chicken was my favourite but the other half preferred the mixed. The portion size is huge and there is a tonne of toppings- We could of easily shared one but of course we didn't 🙈 Highly recommend you try it- you won't be disappointed!

I have eaten lots of chips in my 50 years but hands down the best I have ever eaten are at Wychall Fish Bar, the fish is also amazing, fresh, crispy and tasty. I have always had a warm welcome by the staff, friendly, helpful and kind. The family vibe is very lovely and I am more than happy to support a business that exudes quality, not just in how the food is prepared but how it is served. Keep doing what you do, we love it 😉

Honestly can you get a better place ! It’s one of those hole in the wall neighbourhood shops you simply can’t do without and will miss when you’re away. The fish and chips is lovely but the kebabs / doner meat is some of the finest I’ve tasted. They also have an immense range of sauces of all kinds. Their house sauce , aioli and curry are yum yum - some of the best I’ve ever had. The service by every member of staff particularly the owners Anthony and his mum Pam are lovely and very passionate about what they do. The people and prices are both so friendly and they create such an inviting and welcoming atmosphere. You come as customers and leave as family. Definitely recommend <3

Extremely friendly staff, excellent service and the best chippy around. Randomly drove past it one day, stopped off and now it's my go to place.

Ordered in Uber eats. Food came really well packed and still nicely warm. They even put a little message on there and it was my birthday so it felt extras special. Also labelled each item so we knew which one was who’s. Came quickly too. Would definitely recommend and thank you!

Total rip off this place is nearly £5 for a bag of chips and you get about a scoop also food was stale and cold anyway. Women are very rude and also found a hair in the food but didn't want to own up this is absolutely disgusting especially with the runts they let outside the shop and feed. Stay away at all costs this place was once good before boldy got involved

The menu choice is impeccable. Greeted with staff full of smiles. The service was okay. Was very busy. However, my food was cooked to order. The taste was the best fish and chips I had in months. I will definitely be going here from now on.

A very busy fish shop and all cooked fresh, you may have to wait a short while when busy but worth the wait. Food piping hot and the shop is very clean and friendly staff, ideal place to got to when the hunger kicks in .

Final day before lent and couldn’t have a better experience. Great selection of warm food with honest portions served by friendly staff.Even tried a Gyros, which is honestly the best thing i’ve tasted for some time. The next 5 weeks will be easy knowing that we have a pizza to try.

Had the donner kebab in pitta seems a bit price for £9.50..BUT its a big pitta and filled with delicious lamb donner chilli Sauce isnt to hot just right. And the scallops were nice and crispy fluffy batter!! Il definitely order again.

This place is such a hidden gem. It's pretty much everything one would want in a Chip shop - the food is good, it's fairly priced and the staff are so friendly. Im really grateful to have such a great fish and chip shop in the neighbourhood.

i love this chippy and have been going here for years but the prices seem to be getting higher and the portion size much smaller, i cannot fault the food but potato's surely aren't that much for one more scoop? i know prices have gone up this is the chippy with the smallest portion of chips and comparing it it is significantly differently amazing food and amazing service but pricey for what you get chips wise ! fish and meat also lovely

On a few occasions, I’ve been served cold donner meat when having a donner burger. I let it slide the first time as quality had always been above average. Now after being served cold meat on three occasions and hard/reheated chips on one occasion. Not slating them, usually decent food, maybe I always catch them at a bad time, but 5pm food should be piping hot.

One star just for the attitude and excuses I’m seeing on the latest review. Your fish is small buddy ….. case closed. No one cares about how much it costs in tax etc (yawn) your fish is small so do better! Plus what kind of reply is “Come back to us “ oh please babes , you could have just offered another fish of ample size ? You know what we’re talking about when we discuss a below average size, correct ? In this case size does matter.

After discussing this with I presume Antony,he told me that Uber charge almost £2 more for the cod,and that the £6.78 isn't the store price. Absolutely disgusted by the price of a small cod, nearly £7 for a piece which is less then 6 inches long. Very doubtful I'll be ordering here again for my father. If I could add a photo as proof on here then I would 🤬

I go here every Friday and sometimes for an emergency tea, staff are so friendly and polite, Anthony will create a new dish for you anytime you ask him for suggestions, yesterday his bespoke (to me) chicken burger was delicious, food is always well hot and put together well. Nice to see they use real Cod and are always considerate with prices. Pam and Anthony run a great chippy, well done guys.

Had doner meat and chips yesterday being Saturday 12th march let me say the chips were perfect really tasty now this is where the problem starts I had meat and chips and was told £5.50 which for a small meat and chips is very expensive the kebab meat was terrible for one it was cut way to thin so it was dry no taste to it what so ever worst meat and chips I’ve ever eaten the meat went into the bin but as I said at the start chips were perfect will never return

Best chip shop in the area. We order through Uber Eats and its delivered quickly. Lovely tasty Cod and Chips and real Mushy peas with the proper taste. Never let us down. Would definitely recommend.

Food is always really tasty and hot. The staff are really friendly and respectful. I'm a fussy customer due to 2 allergy children so can't have certain sauces/ items so I always have separate sauces and they are happy to help nothing is too much. I don't use any where else when I'm home . The manager goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy .

We always get our food from wychall chippy, nowhere else even comes close. The food is always fresh and tastes amazing, it doesnt have a lot of excess grease like you get at a lot of other places. The staff are amazing aswell, antony always makes an effort to know peoples names and give them the best service possible. We wont use any other chip shop

Walked in at 1:50pm this afternoon as a regular loyal customer who enjoys the kebab while working in this area from this store. Unfortunately they could not serve me during what is still during opening hours my usual Kebab and left me very very upset and disappointed and that my loyalty meant nothing. Unfortunately I've made the ultimate decision not to come back to this store any further as I don't want to feel this disappointment again

First visit to Wychall Fish bar and not disappointed. Ordered over the phone and collected within 15 minutes. Excellent, tasty fish and chips, good portions and well cooked and seasoned. Polite and friendly staff I will certainly visit again.
