Are here many times. Great food & lots of it. Friendly team & great service. Tried to rebook for a couple of days ago, to be told fully booked until current owners retire today (29/01). Gutted. Hope this place is taken over by new management who keep it going with the current team, minus the retirees. Just wanted to say thank you to all for some really great evenings. So sad... but enjoy your well earned retirement. Thank you!

We booked into the The Huntsman for an over night stay on our way home. What a lovely find. Although the hotel room was on the smaller side it was clean, warm, comfortable with everything needed for our short stay. We booked a meal in the restaurant, and my words, it was fabulous. Pre-ordered breakfast was of the same high standard. All the staff we came into contact with were friendly and professional. If you need some where to stay or eat would highly recommend

We visited the grove for Motherâs Day, 6 adults, 1 child. 3 x roast chicken, 2 x 8oz fillet steak, 1 childrenâs chicken nuggets +chips. My meal (steak) came out and looked great, although my stone wasnât hot enough to cook my steak, onions and mushrooms, my steak although looked great, tasted horrible. ÂŁ23 to only be satisfied with the chips! My wife also couldnât eat the chicken and neither could my father Inlaw, only eating less that half there meals. I wouldnât go back if Iâd not Eaton for a month and was offered a free meal!

Great little pub with lots going for it, very fairly priced on drinks. The future is bright for this venue. Keep your eyes and ears open. Once they get the kitchen facility up and running, it's gonna be a great place to eat too.

Arrived just before the booked time and ordered as soon as the server was ready. It was more than an hour before our food arrived, the staff choosing to serve, before us, a group that arrived well after us. The staff did say sorry (and then had a moan about his working hours) but no complimentary coffee or reduction off the bill was offered by way of apology. The food was okay. Shame, as it's our local and would put more custom their way if the service was acceptable.

We stopped here for a snack, good menu, the sandwiches were well filled and fresh with a choice of bread, plenty of seating but we chose to sit outside as the shops were very old and interesting.

Having read mixed reviews we were a little hesitant to try the Tayleur Arms. However, our experience was great. We had the ÂŁ10 2 course meal. Scampi and ham egg and chips. Both really tasty. Portions were small but just right for us. The apple crumble and bread and butter pudding, both with custard, were yummy. Service was really good, with an attentive young lady who took our order at our table (presumably as it was not too busy or, maybe, she noticed that my companion was blind). Place is nicely decorated and very clean (although neither of us used the toilets). If you have read the old reviews and are not sure about this place, give it a chance. You might be very pleasantly surprised, as we were.

The chef takes good pride in what is served up and the food is locally sourced. The menu has enough I would think for most peoples taste buds but I can recommend the Beef Stack and the Risotto dishes. The evening we went it was not very busy (mid week) so the chef came out and asked how we felt about the food - he really was genuine on receiving feedback.

Googled for a local restaurant whilst we were in Telford and this came up. Had good reviews so we tried it yesterday. Great value and lovely food. We had the chicken curry and sausage & mash. Both meals were served hot and they were very filling with very good portions. Two lads were working - both polite and professional. Highly recommended đđ»

Really bad experience! We had a table booked for a birthday party, upon arrival we were told that they had no room for us even though the booking was on the system - absolutely appalling! The manager did nothing to help and told us if we waited for 30 mins a table would be available but we would just get scraps of what was left of the carvery. So so disappointing- would not recommend this place, if you have a booking there I wouldnât count on actually getting seated.

Was wary of getting food from these type of establishments Papa John's Lansdowne Bournemouth noticed the guy making pizza also operating till what would happen if cash sale handling dirty money then making your pizza no gloves no hand washing before how can this be allowed pizza wasn't even fully baked in my view seems I was right about these places

Stopped by for a coffee whilst walking in the area. Lovely garden seating area. The coffee was average but it is a great place to stop at and enjoy the scenery. They have a few snacks and also ice cream. I was told it has been taken over by a charity helping ex-convicts so it deserves some patronage if you are passing.
