Excellent Sunday lunch at this pub! Glad we phoned to book as they only had one slot left. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. Dog friendly. Nothing we couldn’t eat, even the roasties were good (and they are always my go to when rating a roast dinner cooked in a restaurant kitchen). The beer was excellent and well kept according to my husband; the red wine came in small bottles which guarantees it’s not going to have been opened a while and have a hint (or more) of turning to sherry, it was good. Having said nothing we couldn’t eat……the roast was so filling we had to give dessert a miss, certainly going back as we’re here for a week, so a smaller meal followed by dessert defo on the cards.

Ordered 3 hours in advance yet was still 30 minutes late and cold chicken in the value box was as salty as the ocean, hot wings were as spicy as a custard cream, chicken strips were practically Gandhi's flip flop only good thing was it's cheap and the can of tropical rio

Been several times previously and always decent for a quick lunch with family. Visited today and ordered three meals before taking a table. While paying for the meal (when ordering at the counter) the lady taking payment advised that you can select an option on the card machine - this with set gratuity (tip) payments starting at 10%, 20% and so on (increasing). This before food was served. I found this just wrong and will deter me visiting again. More than happy to leave a gratuity (tip) but always after the eating experience is completed - the food was fine but I am never going to reward people until the reward has been earned. I really find something as simple as this will defer me visiting in the future. This is clearly a business practice that I find just wrong.

Update: 13/2/25......Had two Singapore Chow Mein's recently from Dragon and both were Excellent. Fresh tasting and delicious! Update: Back on board with Singapore Chow Mein's after trying one on 6/2/25 and it was Good. This is after a gap of 3 months not visiting the takeaway. Update: Had Singapore Chow Mein from here on 31/10/24 and it's still not right! That's after not visiting for more than six weeks because of previous problems with poor taste and texture. This time the texture was wrong with not enough bean sprouts and onions, the meat content was lacking, the pork meat didn't taste great and the overall taste was under par. It was also stodgy and too much chilli for a requested medium heat. Update: Not visited for over 6 weeks and I used to go weekly! Will try again soon after being disappointed over a long period. Service is always Excellent as are the large portions of the takeouts.

I don't have a value box very often but the other week after being very good eating beans, fish and rice all week, I felt like a meat hit. I'm a bit immobile at the moment, so the £7.00 minimum for delivery appealed. A value box can be a bit of a gamble but not here. It was brilliant. Great value and very tasty. Thanks

The food is absolutely amazing and it’s one my favourite takeaways. I recommend the dirty fries and the buffalo hot chicken wings. The only complaint I have is the delivery times. They are getting worse and my latest order I had to wait over 2 hours for! I will be ordering again as I can’t fault the food but I definitely feel like the restaurant needs to sort out its delivery service (especially from the look of some of the recent reviews on here!)

one toilet one shower in the men’s one shower in the women’s lost count of how many times the electric tripped. We couldn’t get in the pub for food was really annoying as we had our children with us and ended up driving around looking for alternative places to eat the main reason we booked this site was the fact it had a pub/restaurant on site

One of the best Indian food I have tried around Stoke-on-Trent. Staff were super friendly and attentive, even chef came out and greeted us, made sure we liked the food, place is also warm in winter time which also helps and most importantly food was absolutely delicious, salmon curry was to die for and also rika masala, I would highly reclined this place.

We recently dined at Coast, and it was an experience to remember! Nestled right by the sea, this restaurant offers breathtaking views that set the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was inviting, with a warm and friendly vibe that made us feel right at home. The service was exceptional—attentive without being intrusive, and our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu, providing great recommendations. We started with the charcuterie and vegetarian mezze, both bursting with flavour. For our mains, the perfectly cooked sea bass and refreshing super green salad were fantastic, and we finished with the delightful summer strawberry tart and decadent chocolate brownie for dessert. Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious, making our dining experience truly special. Overall, Coast exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of stunning views, excellent service, and outstanding food makes it a must-visit. We can’t wait to return for another delightful meal!

I can never fault this place. Very polite staff, freshly made food for the naughty nights when the diet goes out of the window. We go go every week, and it's always been fast, fresh, tasty and warm. I'd missed the chips off my order, and because we are regulars the manager sent them for free. Honestly, they are amazing, we never use anywhere else. Currys, kebabs, etc, all great value. Thank you Hamza's.

This was the nearest pub to our campsite so seemed a good choice for us to have Sunday lunch. The first thing that hits you is the old/stale smell as you walk in. Yes, it’s obviously a very old pub, its layout and decor is very 70s. When we arrived the lady on duty was very friendly and welcoming. We got drinks and had a look at the menu which didn’t inspire. Plus we felt the prices were quite high so we moved on! Shame really, this place needs to move with the times!
