We booked dinner at the Coast Bar and Bistro, and were really impressed with the quality and taste of the food. The bread to start with was so tasty and warm, we wish there was more! However, it left space for a delicious beef madras, and the creme brulee was one of the best desserts I've ever eaten. So rich and creamy. Would happily return!

On voulait y manger mais finalement on est resté uniquement boire un verre. Peu de choix de boissons, menu très très classique

I don’t know where to start. My wife and I went to the Ommaroo/ Palmers, for the Friday feast buffet. Fantastic value for money £39 and you can eat as much as you like. Dishes include Crab, moulles, salads of all descriptions. Hot food such as Roast Beef along with all of the seasonal vegetables plus if you are still hungry deserts. The staff are absolutely fantastic. Plus the owner took time to go round all the tables to speak with the guests. Once you have eaten, there is music in the coast bar. Tash and Deano are the resident musicians on a Friday night, and they wind up a fantastic evening in amazing family run hotel.

We had a outstanding afternoon tea here recently at the front if this historic hotel. We were family out for the first time since lockdown, all measures were in place and plenty of space between tables. Tasty sandwiches & cakes were enjoyed with the fantastic view of the seaside & esplanade. Staff were ever so helpful in every aspect. On site parking was a added bonus

Hôtel un peu vieillot mais personnel très attentif. Propre, confortable, chaleureux. Situation pas merveilleuse mais proche de tout. Bon rapport qualité/prix.

went to a charity event on saturday 1st of June 2013. my soup was cold and when another guest on my table complained that their risotto was uncooked, the manager raised his voice and rudely stated that he had tasted it and there was nothing wrong with it. He did get another risotto in the end but the guest was extremely embarrased due to the manager shouting his disagreement all over the dining room. the bar was due to be open until 1 am, but they shut at 12, and only re-opened when the function organiser kicked up a fuss with the same manager. they continued serving as agreed, but then shut at 12.30 and the manager was then unavailable. the staff had been under strict instructions to close at 12.30 even though the manager had told the function organiser it would stay open until 1 am. in this economic climate you expect any business to bend over backwards to keep their clients happy especially in the service industry, but considering this was a charity event, it seems to me that the ommaroo hotel must be doing great business and doesnt mind upsetting local charities as long as they pay their bill. ive been to many functions in Jersey, both charity, corporate and private and this was by far the worst that i have experienced. i will never go to another event in the ommaroo and im pretty sure most of the 68 people at this event feel the same.

Genuinely no idea why this place has such low reviews because this place has hands down the BEST curry I've ever had in my mouth. I've ordered from them twice now and both times; quality. The chicken wasn't dry like most places and was actually really tender, the prawns were amazing and the cheese naan bread was very cheesy- All good prices too. They forgot my vimto and when I called up they apologised and came and delivered it which I don't think you really get with most places delivered through Uber Eats, Deliveroo etc If I ever move out of Stoke I'd be sad to never try this place again.
