Arrived and found a table quite easily, food and drinks ordered at the table by Staff. Waited for 40 minutes ..no drinks or food arrived. Asked a member of Staff if she could find out if our order had gone through...she said she would find out but didn't come back to us Our food and part of our drinks order arrived 10 minutes later. Had to find a member of staff again to ask if we could have our outstanding drink and some cutlery to use. The oatcakes were OK, my daughters poached eggs were barely cooked so she left most of her breakfast... We waited ages to pay afterwards....not enough staff working to serve everyone properly....wouldn't recommend or return...disappointing

Fabulous afternoon tea 🍰 I booked this for a surprise for my mum and dad for his birthday/mothers day and they were extremely impressed. They had loads of food! One tiered was full of fresh sausage rolls, pork pie, Scotch eggs, sandwiches with thick cut meat and other fillings and on the other tier it was full of cake and fruit.. The service, quality and amount was really good and they took alot of food home with them. They would definitely recommend.

After seeing plenty of reviews being deleted I feel like I need too make an honest review of this place as they only like good publicity and anything bad they just delete and block. I visited this place too arrive in a filthy car park and entered the building to a not very welcoming atmosphere everyone was just rushing around and no care for us at all. We tried the breakfast which was quite expensive but looked big so wasn’t that fussed but when it came half of it was cold and the other half dry after saying something about this they offered a replacement but having waited nearly a hour and a half for the first one I did t fancy being there for 3 hours I asked for a part refund. He said that’s not possible but we have some cakes. So I took the cakes as they looked ok for the kids but that’s as far as I would go. These cakes were hard, inedlible and really burnt all they was through. Honestly I don’t know what they do at this place or how it’s still goin but the food is horrendous and the staff are rude, Infact vile. I think the owner of this place is all about the clout and money and has no passion for food at all all in all 0.5/10 thanks

We arrived just after 11am for a breakfast, got sat down easily enough and food and drinks ordered from table within first 5 minutes, so far so good. The drinks came out fairly quickly (though nowhere to put the used tea bags), but then the food took over an hour to arrive. I had to go and ask about it after an hour and it was another 15 minutes from then. No one applogised or asked us if we wanted more drinks or offered anything to make up for it. The food itself was nice enough, and not bad value, but we were so hungry by that point and fed up of sitting in the noisy cafe area (pointless radio blaring out making it hard to hear people sitting just opposite me), that we just wanted to eat and go. However, even when we finished and went to pay, that was another 20 minute wait to queue at the till with people ordering. Couldn't wait to get out and won't be going back. Also, car park is dangerous and needs another way out.

I visited with my sister and my friend for afternoon tea for my friend’s birthday and it was amazing; everything was fresh and tasty and there was so much food we had some to bring home, including lots of lovely cakes, it was excellent value and really nice. Because it was so nice we decided to try breakfast there today and wow, it was the best we have ever had. Everything was hot, fresh and very well cooked. The bacon and sausage were really good quality, as were the eggs and the mushrooms were delicious! Definitely worth a visit because it’s such a lovely place as well, very clean and bright eating area and friendly staff who looked after us well. Thank you!

Visited today after hearing very good reviews about the place, left feeling bit disappointed , went with wife and son as was looking forward to a breakfast but didnt realise finished at 12 and missed by 5 minds, asked for lunch menu but told only doing a small specials board , not a lot of choice to be fair, few people came and left once realised this as not mentioned on facebook etc or anywhere until travel there, opted for bacon and cheese toastie which advertised with salad and crisps , crisps were forgotten and told waitress said would let kitchen know, nothing came out or didn’t came back to us so £9 for a bacon and cheese toasted sandwich and small side salad bit over the top, I had the £13 fried spicy chicken fillet burger, this when came was 2 small fried chicken strips not a fillet , on a toasted bun with little sauce and 4 small jalepeno slices from a jar, the fries what weren’t crispy and pot coleslaw, son opted not to eat as didn’t fancy much, overall with what could be a nice place I don’t think I’d return back in a rush

We decided to visit yesterday for lunch, it was very busy and we had quite a wait for our food but when it arrived it was excellent, well worth the wait, afterwards we went on to the shop to get an ice cream and some cakes to take away we chatted with the owner who apologised for our wait and was very friendly and polite, will definitely re visit

Called in today for lunch, and I can honestly say you would not get any better food for miles around. I had the sausage, chips, eggs beans and they were cooked to perfection, the sausage were delicious. My wife had the steak and chips and she thoroughly enjoyed it as did the rest of the family. We will definitely be going again and sampling more of the menu

Been here today. So disappointed. Photo will explain it all. Advertised all over Facebook that they were serving large baguettes with hot meat and gravy and Yorkshire puddings filled with meat and all the trimmings. They weren’t. I ordered the shredded lamb hot bap with feta cheese and tzatziki. What came is shown in the picture - a seriously small (cold) bap, extremely dry with some lamb plonked on. I asked where the rest was (feta and tzatziki) and they said “oh we have run out”. So they didn’t bother telling me when I ordered or when they put the food down until I asked. Ordered chips and got given fries. £12 for the worlds smallest, driest bap! Thought I’d raise direct with them but instead of resolving, they blocked my Facebook account and ignored me. I’ll post a photo of the complaint I posted to give them opportunity to respond. Didn’t get ice cream as felt completely ripped off by the food.

Sometimes it’s the little things that mean a lot. Today we nipped over to Bobby”s for a late lunch / early tea. Mum was in wheelchair and having come through a little entry save me pushing her all the way round Craig (the owner) was just coming out I misjudged a gap not quite big enough to get through he instantly moved the obstructing item even though I’d told him no leave it il just go round, but no he insisted on moving it a fraction. I jokingly said just checking your disabled access and he continued with how the Disabled parking was hard standing, we had come through the alley with the chair the back entrance was accessible to the disabled users. The diner was set out lovely, the menu had a good home cooked food choice, there is also a play area for young ones, outside there are a number of animals for children to look at. But as I say sometimes it’s the small things a paragraph on the menu thanking you for supporting them and supporting local families and the cutlery sealed with a thank you. Remember thank you cost nothing but it means a lot xx give it a try folks. Well done Bobby,s for creating this little gem.

We had the filled Yorkshire pudding with brisket and a bacon cheeseburger. The brisket broke apart when you tried to pick it up and the mash carrots and peas were delicious. The beef burger didn’t disappoint it was juicy large and tasty coming with homemade chips and coleslaw. Will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

Ok on arrival it seemed really busy, and after finding a table and getting our drinks and food I’m not surprised, it was spot on, coffees were good too! Also stopped for ice cream and that didn’t disappoint either, we will be back again soon

Amazing for the family! The food is incredible and really well priced - generous portions and great quality. Lovely aesthetic cafe with such a nice welcoming energy. HUGE selection of cakes, pies and ice creams and a great menu. The breakfasts are really good and today I had a jacket potato with beef brisket which was delicious! My toddler LOVES it here and we come regularly - an indoor soft play area for under 2 year olds and a lovely outdoor sandpit and play area surrounded by animals. We love it and couldn’t fault it!

Brilliant family run business, perfect little trip out to see the animals and get an icecream. Staff are super friendly and they serve a huge range of snugburys 😋 They also have a great range of cakes, cheesecakes, pies etc to take away and the menu for hot food looks amazing too, only heard great things and intend to try it really soon. We loved the baby piglets and the goats and donkeys, all are very well cared for and have lots of space to roam, but are friendly and inquisitive so will come and say hello. If you haven’t been yet make sure you do!

Clean and new. All facilities were great. However, food was underwhelming. Sausages although obviously butchers sausages I could not eat, did not taste good and texture was too heavy. All the meat needed to be cooked more, sausages too pale, white fat on bacon and black pudding hardly warmed through. Toast was from cheapest bread possible We will not return for breakfast.

Food is very expensive and of poor quality especially the sausage. Some items missing off the orders and the food was Luke warm . Some staff members can be quite rude to the customers . This is the second time we have visited and each time some food choices have been unavailable like the jacket potatoes and burgers . The children’s play area was dirty and not fit for purpose.

Our second visit here and was left disappointed compared to the first visit. Not as much room since the play area has been changed around. No bouncy castles this time (not sure whether it's certain times of the year) sandpit just sand no buckets or anything to play with. Great idea to have the trucks and ride on toys for the children but they just get frustrated as they can't ride them properly as the ground is bumpy and full of stones maybe a little flat tarmac/ soft play area for them to go on would improve it. Rude customer balling at me on the way out telling me it was one way as I tried to leave the same way we came in but me personally could not see any signage at all making this clear and neither could the police in the unmarked car and another customer that went out the same way too. Animals are lovely especially the piglets so glad we came but left a bit deflated. If the negatives weren't there we'd of stayed and enjoyed ice creams like last time we came.

Fantastic food and lovely venue. Loved seeing the animals. I have given 4 stars instead of 5 because the website indicates that it is dog friendly. However, dogs are not actually allowed inside. There is some outside seating but I would advise to avoid if you have a dog and it's either raining or very hot.

We love it at Bobby's! Sandpit, ride ons bouncy castle and animals, all for free! My 4 and 3 year old both love it here! They never want to leave. So much fun to be had. Food is great! My girls are both dairy and soya intolerant, and they can still enjoy chocolate ice cream (sorbet), amongst a few other things. Highly recommended!

The girl's who serve are beautiful inside and out. The area is fantastic for kids and adults to let them burn off a couple of hours energy with the bouncy castle, sandpit area and ride on toys. The animals are such joy and there seems to be something new each time we go (which is alot) Thank you Bobby's for being free to go and listening to your customers 😊 P.s take wellies they can't control the weather.

Lovely spot. Ice cream and cakes etc have always been excellent. We usually time our visits with the pop ups they have regularly. The pizza, burgers, gyros have all been superb. The enclosed play area and animals are perfect to keep the kids entertained for an hour or so and that along with the parking comes at no extra expense! They’re dog friendly and cater for dogs as well. The recent activities throughout the school holidays have been really good and schedules are all well advertised in advance on the Facebook page so be sure to give that a follow. Going from the Facebook reviews I’ve seen I’m expecting a lot of reviews to mention the parking or the fact that some times some flavours of the ice cream are not available. Personally I don’t see these as fair comments to negatively impact the scores for this or any small, family run business. There’s ample parking and a huge stock and selection of ice cream but obviously on a sunny bank holiday weekend the place will probably be busy, there will be a lot of cars there and they may run out of some items by the Monday as deliveries won’t be available. I’ve yet go find a place yet to take the kids that isn’t busy during these periods so obviously take this in to account visiting.

Great place to visit. Very nice to see a local business so busy. Staff were very friendly. There was a great selection of ice cream which we were able to enjoy in the sunshine. We took some cakes away for later and they were delicious. Loved seeing the animals our favourites were the Donkey, Alpacas and the super friendly goats.
