Potteries Kebab in Stoke-on-Trent

Not a customer but they are so noisy. They play loud music throughout the night and shout a lot. They will start to play music at 10pm and won’t stop until 1 am. This happens every night. I can’t sleep due to it. I live near by and want to keep the peace so don’t say anything.

Big portion, good service,lovely staff!

Not even a customer, but took the time to leave a review about their staff, that litter the streets with Red Bull cans on the way to the Zam's Store... Couldn't ask the shop to put it in their bin, or carry it back to their business, to put it in their own bin? It's ok, the community will clean your litter! Explains the bad reviews really, filthy staff.

Ordered a burger and fried chicken last night. The burger wasn’t the best, as we were eating the chicken it didn’t seem right tasted a bit funny and smelt funny it’s at that moment we realised the chicken must have gone off!!! And all today we have had a bad stomach without going into to much detail. I will never eat here again

Ordered through Uber and was excellent food. 2 pizzas and both Chicken and Lamb Doner Kebabs. Tasty food, have Ordered from here before and glad to recommend them again. Quality and freshness 🙏 thank you.

Ordered delivery with cash payment. Driver didn't know it was cash, I stopped him because I didnt want him to leave without cash but he had no money on him. I paid £20 for 15.90 order. I order from here for long time but won't order again now 😡

Had scampi and salad (no chips) and they separated my scampi from my salad so the scampi was still crispy when I got home. Genius and yummy Update. Absolutely beautiful had a jacket spud with cheese and beans. Salad and garlic mushrooms still no change brilliant food quality be careful ya belly might burst with the portions sizes 😁

Quality food brilliant customer service. I had a slight mistake with a kebab and potteries where completely understanding and resolved my issue no problem.

The food is nice but disappointed in the portion of lasagne I received compared to my regular place I normally use for the same thing which charges the same price but a larger tray of lasagne , would be fine for a child but not for an adult .

Had chicken kebab on garlic Nann the chicken was hard and full of fat chips were hard would not recommend !!!!!!!

When we bought chicken kabab, what we were shown was freshly cooked raw chicken. What we got was stale chicken that was hard, bitter and woody. It was obviously a scam.

There’s no other explanation, to my food being as bad as it was, than it was out of date. It had an unusual smell, look and taste. On top of that, due to their ‘minimum spend’ rule on Uber I had to spend more than I wanted to and then was refused a full refund. I’ve never used this place, before last night, but after this I will never use it again as this mistake could’ve led to much worse.

For over a decade, I've been a loyal customer at Potteries, and I've never once been disappointed. The quality of their food is consistently outstanding, and every order has been spot on. The staff, especially the young lady, are always warm, helpful, and create a welcoming atmosphere. The variety of sauces is a nice touch. On those days when work takes its toll, a kebab or a spicy chicken wrap from Potteries is my go-to choice, and it never fails to hit the mark. Price-wise, they're right on the mark, and their deliveries are not only punctual but often early. I'd rate them 11 out of 10. They truly do a proper job!

I don't normally like leaving bad reviews but this is the 3rd time now where my food is unable to be eaten where the chicken is that dried out , my chips been reheated the food was very bad today and will be my ever last order from this place !!

Best takeaway in Hanley, food always top notch and hot on arrival, fast delivery too! Won’t go anywhere else

Live this place, still my favourite doner meat from any other takeaway I've tried in Stoke!

After having no option use cash on the websites I phoned up to place an order and had to repeat me self constantly then I got a bag of pure oil from the garlic mushrooms and a freezing cold donner wrap to the point the fat was turning white and solid of the donner meat jack spud basically had tinned chilli con on it and a week old spud that went straight in the bin with everything else other than the chips witch the dogs enjoyed I’ll have leave a review in a week to update you all on if their still alive do not recommend at all want decent food go al Hamza 👍

Very good place ;) would recommend. Our family had some kebab wraps with garlick mayo sauce, pizza and nuggets for kids. amazing!!! 5 starts for me⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Delicious garlick mayo sauce. Finally a place that serves a proper garlick mayo sauce 😋 🙌 👌 friendly customer service.

Ordered for first time tonight can honestly say one of the nicest takeaways we have had in a long time dinner meat was banging as my partner described. Chicken was nice and fresh and juicy the salad was fresh and I like how they keep it separate we will definitely be ordering from here again

Nice food traditional Turkish style takeaway salad is fresh the donner meat is so authentic proper lamb chicken is fresh and juicy yes prices are high but you get quality with the food you buy

Don’t bother ordering from here mixed kebab £18 they covered in chilli sauce even tho we never asked for or wanted chilli sauce - rang up to complain and was flat out refused a refund or replacement and the guy was incredibly rude Due to having problems with my stomach I couldn’t eat a single bite even the nan bread was vile In the end the whole lot went in the bin but to be fair most of their food belongs in landfill never ordering anything from them again

Always fast delivery and piping hot food!

Waited 50 mins to get the food driver was polite. Jacket potatoes were lovely and so was the cheeseburger but the chips were horrible, the doner meat had a weird taste and sausage was overcooked. First time trying cause the reviews were good so we might have caught them on a bad bad but personally won't be having from here again.

Tried these guys for the first time tonight and it was fantastic, really tasty food! I had the large chicken kebab in a Nan and it was great, one of the nicest I've had. Will be back :)

I ordered through Uber Eats and was told it would be 45minutes. Almost 50minutes later I get a notification saying delivered with a random picture of someone else's door. I ring the driver through the app who said he never had it and call the restaurant. After speaking to them a different driver had it. Well I never got my food. I had to keep calling them but couldn't get through until I used a different phone number and Ubereats was useless. 3 days later I get my refund and its for less than I paid by £3. Uber again are useless and said the matter is closed. The restaurant never even tried sending my another order so that I didn't have to start cooking an hour after I ordered food. Not entirely the restaurants fault but, it could have been handled better. Even a call back to me in person rather than assuming Uber have. Uber called off a 'spam' number and goes straight to voicemail due to a setting on my phone. They didn't even leave a message.

My credit card wouldn't go through on my home delivery but they still honoured my order for the little change I had available. THANKS GUYS

Always served with good quality food never once have I had a problem with the price being competitive economic and delivery always reliable and polite pleasant and Very friendly rating for this business from me has got to be a five star for proffetion and standards of great hygiene and top quality service and food would certainly recommend to anyone would want to rate this business as five star rating for the service and cleanliness thanks lads and keep up with the good work

The chicken and chips were delicious. We had big pieces of chicken. Definitely value for money. The place is clean. I will go there again.

We have had food from here before and always been satisfied. Today we had a mix up with the order which was actually my fault. After speaking to the restaurant they made a special delivery of what I’d forgotten. Excellent customer service !! Would definitely recommend

Second time delivery late half hour...

Ordered before from here and it was lovely however I ordered last night and everything turned up cold, inedible onion rings cold and damp, and an hour and 40 mins delivery after originally being told 50 mins, customer service skills severely lacking will not be ordering again

Normally don't have a problem but tonight I was waiting an hour and half, i live 5 mins away, after ringing twise. Food came that cold my 14 month old could eat it straight off. Will not be using again.

Asked for chicken tikka diner meat and chips sent sort of chicken not tikka no doner meat and when I phoned to rectify I asked to send chips and cheese and £3.50 which was the difference they told me I had to pay £7 for delivery and said I could speak to the manager tomorrow no I payed for the food tonight sort it out tonight customer service none existent won't order again from these

I have used this place many times over the years. Good food. Salads are always fresh.

They do really good food but l must say l was disappointed to see how they had ridiculously put their prices up, a meal l was getting around £4 was now around £6, a shame as it has put me off from ordering in the future but otherwise their food is really good quality.

I read the reviews so thought I'd try such a waste ov a walk there n £5 I spent on donner meat n chips was totally disgusting the donner was hard n so dry n chips not enough never again!

Very happy with them,by mistake I ordered a pizza to be collected and after realising and the time passed I called and they delivered in a short period of time. The pizza tastes amazing and it was still hot at arrival. Thank you.

Visited : 24/02/18 Meal ordered : Doner meat, chips, onions with chilli sauce and mayonnaise. Friday evening about 9pm, ordered the above meal, the cashier was pleasant and polite. The shop wasn't busy at the time so it didn't take long to be served. Food was presented to me within 15 minutes which in my opinion is fast enough. After leaving the shop I walked back to the hotel eating my box of chilli,chip,doner goodness. The Meal : The doner meat was slightly on the cool side, which is the only reason I'm giving 4 not 5 stars, for me it has to be piping hot. Chips were spot on, hot, crispy and just soft enough on the inside. Chilli sauce was just hot enough to give your mouth a tingle which when mixed with the mayonnaise cooled it down nicely. Overall a pleasant dining experience, will definitely visit again.

Very disappointing shish kofte kebab. Tried two bites of meat and threw it away. Very chewy and gristly. Nan bread didn’t seem fresh - broke apart.. salad wasn’t even up to spec. Won’t be going back ever again.
