Very disappointed with the poor quality of food, Some chicken was so overcooked it was inedible. Everything was just about warm. The only thing we enjoyed were the cakes, a great selection and well presented. The restaurant itself was excellent but staff were miserable and not welcoming. Not worth anywhere near the £45 for lunch, won’t be returning.

We attended today and there were two incidents in which has made us say we will never attend again. 1, we were literally still eating and because one person had finished the lady came over and took all the plates whilst saying are these done with and before we could answer she was gone with the plates, 2, as we waited for our other person to come out of the toilet before leaving, we waited behind the cake section looking around and the man in the middle kitchen area where they cook the pizzas and chop the vegetables we watched him chopping four cucumbers up at once (which fair play to him I wouldn't of been able to do it) he dropped two of them on the floor he looked around to make sure he wasn't seen by staff members and picked them carried on chopping them and then added them to the rest so you never know if you've eaten something that's been on the floor 🤮🤮 SO WE WILL NOT BE ATTENDING AGAIN IT USED TO BE A LOVELY PLACE AND HAS GONE DOWNHILL

Over priced in the day for the lack of food available

Quality of food varies from great to very poor. A good day out if it's quiet, but it becomes massively overwhelming during the holidays due to kids and large families. Ended up having food slunh near me and other customers shoving me a lot, which while not the restaurant's fault definitely effected the atmosphere. Good to a fairly cheap meal out, but plan the time you visit carefully.

I had a lovely time visiting with family and enjoying all the great dishes, however if you're going to go I wouldn't recommend at lunchtime as the food is limited to a fewer range. Overall, would go many times again! Thanks :)

Like all buffets some of the food were nice and some weren’t. The chicken in the chicken dishes were slimy. I enjoyed choosing which noodles, meat and veg and having it cooked on the Teppanyki grill.

One of the most stunning places I have been to with this type of cuisine. The number of dishes is hugely impressive, you can try dishes found nowhere else, everything is replenished on a regular basis, a wide selection of seafood. The queues in front of the premises speak for themselves. A must-see if you're in this area!

Lovely place to eat with the family and the friends as well

This has to be the worst buffet I have ever been to. They (Bon) have a branch in Intu Dudley which I have been to and it was 10 times better than this place. Genuinely, all the food was low quality, often dry and cold. I could not believe how poor it was. So much so that I am actually sat in the restaurant whilst writing this and am actually taking the family next door to Nandos now after paying £70 odd for nothing here. Even the drinks were poor and tasted like Rola Cola (for those old enough to remember) Lesson learned- never to be repeated again!

Came to bon pan thursday evening, had a presant experience, there were a large variety of dishs to choose from, especially the tepanyaki. For £18.99 per person for all you can eat is a bargain, especially when you can only get one meal from other places for around the same price. The staff were also friendly, especially the nice young blonde girl on the reception desk, who was very helpful when we first arrived. Overall it a brilliant dining experience especially if you are coming as a large group, as they have plenty of space to accommodate grpups larger thsn 20 people.

Once again I had a brilliant meal at bon pan on Saturday, there were plenty of options to choose from and the food was hot and fresh. The crispy duck and pancakes are a highlight from the evening, love how they allow you to assemble them yourself so you can add what toppings you want to them m the food on the buffet was topped up every hour or so which was nice to see during the visit here. The restaurant was clean with staff being very efficient tidying up after customers. Reception and seating staff Lucie and Maria were helpful and polite, along with the bar staff you quickly made our cocktails to a good quality. Once again I look forward to my next visit here.

So once again I pride myself on honest reviews. However do stress it's jst my opinion. So was over in the area for wedding the next day and decided to give this place a try due to spending the whole next day I'm the hotel. Decor is great and really does give the place a good vibe and feel However for me that's where it stops. Food - tasteless and bland at best. Ribs where that dry you could use as sand paper. Overall the food was extremely poor and very much a disappointment. The quality side of things. However choice was plentiful and something for everyone Staff - fine as you would exepxt for this type of place. Busy and just general doin what they need to. - toilets where discugusting as you can see from my picture I used the disabled toilet due to the sate of the others and I entered at 7.55 sigurte states checked at 7.45 so clearly not attentive as left bin full and floor full of something and very slipply. Also baby facilities unclean and I guess not sanitised. All in all very poor and will not returne I'd suggest spending £45+ else where or a stander pub dinner. Very disappointed.

Our experience at bon pan was perfect. From the service of the staff, to the quality of the good, everything was great. Having not been for a few years I thought it may have tired but the decor and cleanliness was immaculate. A credit to the potteries and definitely recommended

Great place to eat, with something for everyone. English food, Indian food, and Chinese food,they will even make you a stirfry with ingredients you select. Cheeses, meeats, crackers, pizza, and finger foods for the children, such as nuggets, onion rings, hash browns. Not forgetting the various fresh salad and fruits available. Just remember to save food for the extension selections of deserts they offer, to many to mention 😍. Staff are always polite and friendly, and the restaurant is clean and tidy. Highly recommend Bon Pan whether it's just a catch-up with friends or a reason for celebrating.

Clean quiet atmospehere, nice food for the price.

Not impressed. Arrived 6.45. . Most food ran out. Slow to refill. Had to keep asking for refills. While waiting your own food on place goes cold. No plates out..and when there were some-to hot for dessert. Hardly no desserts left, and when asked they have ran out..unless u want fruit ! Most food cold.. Toilets filthy.. Waiters and waitress good... Won't be back in a hurry!

I recently visited Bon Pan Asian Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent and had an exceptional dining experience. The environment was top-notch, with a clean and inviting ambience that made me feel comfortable and welcome. The staff provided excellent service, attending to every detail with friendliness and professionalism. As for the food, it was simply amazing! Each dish was flavorful and beautifully ambience I will be returning next time. Highly recommend!

It's a good place to visit now and again or if there's a few of you meeting for any occasion. There's lots of choice so you'll be sure to leave there full. Good desserts too to top it off. The downside to it is that there is no free parking so that adds to your bill which isn't cheap either but still reasonable for this day in age.

First time here on Sat. All good on everything. Plenty of food choices and well laid out. Staff are fast-working but polite and attentive. Thanks for availing an excellent venue at such an affordable price.

After spending over £100 on a meal with my family we ended up all leaving hungry and disappointed. Food was very poor quality , a lot of it was cold! Couldn’t believe how bad the pizzas are! The photos is suppose to be a vegetable pizza. They can’t simply get a pizza right so you can imagine what the Chinese and Indian food is like! I would not return here. Food is disgusting and the man who seated us was rude and lacked people skills.

We had a table for 2 people, everything was wonderful there are a lot of options to choose from. Especially the one in the teppaniaky section was very delicious, the Romanian chef was very friendly, he helped me choose all my portions, we will definitely come back....

We had dinner here for 3 nights. We were staying at the double tree by hilton hotel while visiting alton towers; this restaurant was the perfect place for dinner to go with that combination, would recommend for anyone else doing the same. The food was all fresh and really nicely marinated. Good selection of healthy options and vast variety of different types of food. Deserts were also really good; lots of treats and some really good fuit options (i particularly like the lychees). Surprised by the mixed reviews; personally would highly recommend.

Absolutely shambolick, food was awful cooking staff were nothing but rude and arrogant food was cold nothing was fresh and was sat there for hours used to be very good previously but nothing but a down fall only reason service for a 2 was because the cleaning staff were good and so was the receptionist

Boy has this place deteriorated. I went as part of a large group of (disabled) people. Firstly off, we were put in a private room although there was far more space in the restaurant. It's a large restaurant and had plenty of available tables so many of us felt we were put there to be hidden away. Staff didn't seem very approachable. I didn't realise there was a 3 hour limit on eating time or that the restaurant closed at 9 so we could have booked earlier as we only had a 2 hour time slot having booked for 7pm. Staff then announced at 8.55 that we only had 5 minutes in which to finish at the buffet which wasn't strictly true. Staff then hovered at the door of our room clearly indicating it was time to leave. The vibe was right because,upon leaving the room, it was clear that not only had the buffet closed, they had cleaned up and turned the restaurant lights out too. Food was 'beige' and dry but there was a wide selection of food. I would say, if you're a slow eater like myself that you don't get your moneys worth. It might be better if you attend earlier when food is being constantly freshly prepared and there's a good selection to choose from. Also, those MASSIVE heavy entrance doors are difficult to open under normal circumstances let alone if you use a chair or mobility aid.

Recently visited for a birthday and once again experienced great food to suit all taste buds! We did arrive at 7:30 but was made aware at the time of booking that the food wouldn’t be refreshed after 8pm even though the restaurant closed at 9pm which makes sense. Just beware that the deserts soon disappear after 8pm so get in there early if you have a sweet tooth!

The food, ambiance, and presentation were amazing, and the buffet allowed us to enjoy as much as we wanted. However, the limited halal options were a downside. Among the dishes available, the Chicken Korma stood out as my favorite.

Title: Disappointing Dining Experience: Lack of Vegetarian Options I recently dined there and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. As a vegetarian, I was disappointed by the severe lack of options available to me. The limited vegetarian dishes offered were uninspired and lacked variety. One of the few vegetarian options available was the naan bread, which, to my dismay, was burnt and inedible. Despite the culinary letdown, I must commend the staff for their exceptional behavior. They were attentive, friendly, and accommodating, which somewhat salvaged the experience. Overall, while the staff's excellent service is commendable, the lack of vegetarian options and poorly prepared dishes, such as the burnt naan, greatly detracted from the overall dining experience.

Plates, surfaces and toilets were dirty throughout our stay. Staff were fast to tidy up tables though. Food was cold as it had been under heatlamps for a while. Never have I had a Chef raise his voice at me, while being a customer. Very unprofessional. Finally, children running around everywhere, obviously not the venues fault but that's just the kind of atmosphere you can expect.

Delicious food with wide range of cuisines to choose from. Plenty of restocking of dishes so can feel comfortable with food hygiene and turnaround. Great value.

It was more the after experience, if you know what i mean. Don't know if it was volume of food consumed or something Dicky.

No Thai papaya salad, only thing I looked forward too

My visit to this restaurant was not planned but I had the time of my life while eating 😂. I like trying out new food and this restaurant gave me a good taste of Asian food . If you’re thinking of going to this place for aesthetic purposes you’ve gone to the wrong place because it is an eat to you drop kind of thing. It’s a little bit rowdy because lots of people come here and they have to clear tables immediately cause customers troop in every minute. I went with someone and because it was a weekday we paid 38pounds for two persons but on weekends it’s 20pounds per person which I think it’s reasonable for what you’re getting. Asides the food, drinks are not included in that price though which I don’t understand yet. They have various dishes ranging from pork ribs,meat balls,shrimps,rice,pasta,noodles and so much more. They also have a separate section for desserts, candies and cakes. My advice to you is to come hungry tbh so you could each as much as you want and don’t be like me. You’re not also allowed to take food out of the restaurant so yeah just come hungry. I recommend this place for family gatherings, dates and celebrations.

As I have been to the other two locations in Liverpool and Dudley (Merry Hill), I thought why not go here as we were this side of town. Easy to find and on entry was smooth going to our table as we had pre-booked. The atmosphere didn't seem as busy for a Saturday night but that should make for better service. Service was ok, the nicest staff were at the bar. Others gave the impression that they were there because they had to be. Food wise, the starters were nice from the selection I chose. Better variety, cooked well and flavoured well. Thought the variety compared to the Merry Hill branch was better but then when we got to the mains this is where I was let down. I felt like having an Indian dish where the Lamb Rogan Josh was too salty. The naan had finished so I thought I'd get some rice but looking at it, it wasn't pleasant looking. Took a bit on my plate to taste which tasted under cooked. Told a staff member who laughed about it and then went to the back. The naan came out which looked like a slice of bread more than anything. Too thick and when I looked at the chef it appeared that they were made in bulk and then placed in a tray wrapped in cling film sitting in it's heat. The only thing that this created was a rubbery naan which is not what I wanted. My wife who's vegetarian wanted a teppanyaki which isn't normally a problem at other venues or buffet places where the chef would put water on the hot plate to clean it prior to placing the food on to cook it, however even though my wife said she was a vegetarian the chef wouldn't acknowledge this and even when another member of staff was consulted they just said they wouldn't do it. Nice to know they acknowledge requirements! The fruit selection was good as well as the desserts but feel that since the experience of the food I was left disappointed. Overall, it was ok but out of the branches probably not the best out of them all. Based on the experience definitely not worth the money I've paid. There was a better experience at the other two locations.

Fantastic buffet with a good variety of good quality food (not what I was expecting from a buffet place). Staff have always been friendly and work hard to keep the place clean and tidy. I would recommend booking as the place is regularly busy and queuing out the door.

Buffett was generally very good, some of the hot pans were fairly empty and the puddings were mixed up a bit but food was very good and you'll always want to go up several times, a nice treat 😀

If you want to eat a lot for 20£, go for it. (No drink included) But the quality of the food is very low. Better to get a proper meal from somewhere else to be honest.

Our family were the 2nd lot to go in at 12pm, food cold or luke warm, nothing hot apart from freshly cooked by chef, food quality has gone down since we last went, very disappointed not like it used to be, very much doubt we will return as we have done previously on a number of occasions, very very disappointed...definitely over priced for luke warm/ cold food, especially when we arrived when the doors had just opened..

Really nice restaurant It already seemed rather clean and tidy to start with. I've visited this restaurant before . Value for money is good ,, its always busy ,, plenty of choices ,,for all appetites, Service was also good considering how busy the place was, dirty plates were taken away swiftly.Plenty of food on offer Chinese, Indian, Sushi, lots of choices on offer ,,a must try if you haven't been as of yet ,,

Visited on a Friday lunchtime for 3 adults, on arrival was informed that our Bluelight NHS Discount was not valid as it was the "weekend". Shown to a table with a window view which was pleasant but unfortunately quite close to the area where dirty plates were being cleaned after being removed from the table unfortunately this was quite noisy and distracting from a pleasant meal. Food on the whole was well made/cooked and kept warm under covers to protect them. Drinks were £2.50 each for small glasses of soda and these were not refillable so seemed a bit pricey that didn't advertise it but you can get a jug of water and glasses for your table.

If this had an option for minus stars that is what i would give. All of us have been throwing up since visiting this place. Disgusting food it needs shutting down!

Fake opening hours poor food service zero

This is a great family restaurant. There is so much choice that it suits all pallets and dietary needs. They serve all the general selection for the lunch period, including Indian food, Chinese food, Thai food, English food, as well general fast food bits like onion rings, chips and chicken nuggets. It also includes a selection of cakes, icecreams and pudding like jelly or banana and custard. For dinner, they also do the teppanyaki grill and other fresh made foods to order. It is a little more expensive than lunch time, but it is not too expensive. The restaurant is well maintained and clean. You pay for buffet on the way into the restaurant, and drinks are ordered yourself from the bar, so there isn't a huge amount of staff interaction during your meal. The staff clear and clean tables and maintain the buffet area well, and are generally friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms are also clean and well maintained. We will definitely go back in the future.

Too expensive to go can only afford once a month if that even day time week day when kids at school is now £15 and it's not all the food it's a limited selection

I guess it's the taste consistency of the meals that gets me on every visit. Great for friends or family gatherings, and I noticed a few new additions to the range of cuisine on display. If you can't handle the crowd, avoid evening openings, most especially on weekends. Overall, friendly staff, good ambience (for an expected crowded atmosphere), and tasty range of cuisine offerings.

Food is no quality and very cheap material very bad just shame

Honestly a restaurant we were looking forward too, upon Visiting we won’t be going back. We have a 6 month old, and my partner is breastfeeding. When arriving and paying first before sitting I asked could we have either a side table or a booth for privacy but we were still lead to the middle of the floor with no privacy with no protection around the baby for that matter. I asked again could we move and was basically told no as they were busy and the only other table was the one behind which was narrow and no chance for the pram. The reason the staff member said no to a booth was for health and safety reasons we can’t have a baby sat in the booths in case of glass or plate falling 🤔 We settled were we where although difficult we tried to make good of a bad situation, whilst eating it was noticed another staff members family sat on the table next to us but another party of 4 then come who needed the 4 seats so the staff member who told us no to a booth put his friends family into said booth might I add there was a young baby aged roughly 1-2 years. This restaurant knowingly made us sit in open space, my partner needing to feed our daughter in open space whilst staff look after their own. Needless to say we will not be going back. Absolutely shocking and disgusting. The manager did sort a refund but non the less our view stands on this place. Not baby friendly

Incredible place with DELICIOUS food! Very well organised and food was hot and incredibly tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will DEFFO go again and again and again! Only critique I would have is that there are way to many tables and people are packed in much too close. There was literally just a row of poorly placed flowers between us and the table next to us we could practically join their discussion.

We traveled all the way from Derby just to try your buffet,previously been in many buffets i can say the buffet is good thd only couple of things are missing sushi,refillable fizzy drinks and as a big pizza lover the pizza coulb be better the dough is nice but it has a very thin layer of filling,other than that i would put 5 stars and the staff was polite and nice👌🤝

Honestly so delicious, the chocolate fountain was by far my favourite bit and the restaurant was truly mesmerising to look at. Would 100% recommend going as this is a 10/10 place to go to! The food was full of flavour and I couldn’t of asked for anything better!

Great selection of food and most importantly it was clean. The food was always topped up in time and the live cooking station is the highlight. Parking is available.

Food is pretty bad and cold, absolute disgrace

Good place to have a variety of food from different countries but if you go there for lunch you won’t find fish to be done in the live kitchen which is in the middle of the restaurant. Everything else is perfectly fine.

The food has definitely gone down hill since I last came here unfortunately. Probably won’t be returning. Panda Mami is the best all you can eat there is.
