The best restaurants in Himley and Swindon South Staffordshire West Midlands

Came here this morning/dinner time. I had a lovely ham and cheese toasties and a hot chocolate which came with cream and marshmallow absolutely delicious! Food was also amazing and then took a cheeky cake home for later. Lovely little cafe great food/drinks and staff were friendly and attentive definitely recommend.

Food was OK. Nothing special though. Staff was very friendly. This is a locals pub but everyone was very welcoming.

We visited for an early evening meal following a trip to the theatre in Birmingham. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. The menu offers a great deal of choice. Our food was excellent, the lasagne was the tastiest I have eaten in a pub for a very long time. Highly recommend.

Good selection of drinks, service ace, customers friendly. Worth a visit.

We were so looking forward to our meal at the Dudley Arms on Easter Sunday. Reserving a table for five we couldnt wait as we'd been before and the food was great and the pub had lovely atmosphere. Two from the group ordered steak and the one steak was very chewy and fully of gristle. Our understanding was they were supposed to be 10oz steaks but they were far from it. The peas were dried out and overcooked and everything on the plate was only lukewarm. The rest had carverys. The meat was beautifully tender except the beet which was full of gristle and unchewable. The veg itself was only lukewarm but enjoyable. So overall we were deflated and disappointed about the food especially on a day to celebrate Easter We will not be returning unless the food improves.

Nice little pub, excellent san Miguel,dog friendly,and good service. Not eaten there but cobs and sausage rolls are good. We visit regularly.

Lovely place celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in function room staff could not do enough for you particularly Hannah and Connor food was amazing had loads of comments from guests would definitely recommend

Nice coffee and a lovely homade mince pie after an organised walk. 😀 Good cakes too bread pudding portion is massive 👍 It has been refurbished inside and on a sunny day you can sit outside. Staff are lovely.😊

Visited the hinksford arms at weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it , mark whom I believe is the new owner and along with his team were extremely pleasant to us , we had some good banter , it felt like a country pub , locals were great fun and the overall atmosphere was very memorable , so much that we’ve decided our next trip to uk will involve a definate stop off there

Saturday 8th July. Had planned a trip especially from north wales. Always been on my bucket list. Checked website and Facebook page. Sorry to hear about the break in. Information stated should be open again 6th or 7th July. Tried to phone before visit to check if open. No answer. Should've been open 8th but no updates or information. Arrived at 12:15. Five cars parked by locked gate. Nobody knew What was happening. Walked down the lane. Fantastic house. Unfortunatly we had a wasted trip. Blackboard outside 'closed until further notice' people arriving after us who we informed they were closed. Had we known we wouldn't have wasted a journey.

The place is amazing such an amazing location for weddings parties etc . We enjoyed every minute of our visit up from hythe Kent . The landlord is such a gent what more can I say just a must visit for everyone

Absolutely shocking experience! Disgusted by the state of the property and the room and lack of cleaning so obviously not done! Brought to properties attention nothing has been done! Do not know how this place is allowed to even be open! If I did not have my son with me I would have slept in the car, would have felt cleaner! Didn’t dare use the bath after the state of the toilet when we arrived! Draw missing of bedside unit, tv and remote wouldn’t work, have zero phone signal and can not get stable Wi-Fi connection! Thick mold on the windows! Please do not stay it’s the worst experience of a hote in my life a
