we stayed for our 25th wedding anniversary having stayed here on our wedding night. check in was quick and our anniversary was acknowledged at check in. room was clean, tidy and comfortable

We had the tasting menu and it was lovely 🌹😍

I had the chicken souvlaki skewers which were lovely, very tasty. The pitta looked homemade and the salad dressing was good too. Only downside is the stairs (out the front and inside) and lack of baby changing facilities, however it looks like a listed building so not something they are likely to be able to change. Not suitable for disabled guests or those with babies. However the staff were friendly and helped us carry the pushchair upstairs which was kind

Hi, I only gave it four stars due to the cost of the cakes, they were very expensive but... there's always a but they were nice. Service was good and very pleasant atmosphere. Thank you

We went as a group of 4. We had reserved the window seat as it was our friends birthday. There was a bit of a complication on arrival but we got there in the end. The choice of wines is good. I will say the fridge that’s closer to the bar is not as cold so you may need some ice. We had some food as well which was fantastic. We will be back!

Good friendly atmosphere dogs are welcome and the staff are lovely, as is the beer what more can you ask for

Me recomendaron ponerme en contacto con Hayley (el propietario) con respecto al alquiler de la cafetería como lugar para mi hija 18 cumpleaños fiesta. Con un número de amigos por debajo de los 18 , ir a un pub no era una opción, pero tengo que decir, poder celebrar la pequeña reunión en Elderberry Blacks era una alternativa brillante. El buffet era increíble y a un precio razonable, ya que somos las opciones de bebidas. Pastel de cumpleaños proporcionado también. Definitivamente volveré más regularmente. El mejor servicio, la comida y la sensación del lugar en general es genial. Como negocio independiente, a menudo se dice que "lo usas o lo pierdes". Visited with friends after a night out in Knowle. Another great curry. Not overly expensive. I recommend the Morchi. Staff very helpful. As they have been since I first began eating there in the early 1980s.

I have been curious about this café as it serves organic coffee so I went for breakfast. The staff are very welcoming and friendly so this is great, but he coffee wasn´t very good. I ordered a flat white and it didn´t have the intensity of a normal flat white, it was very bland, it tasted more like milk with a bit of coffee. I also ordered an omellette and I wasn´t impressed about it. The place it is lovely but it needs a bit more effort in the food. I wouldn´t come back.

Eros is totally unique, an olde worlde building with 2 small staircases leading up, old beams & uneven floors, absolutely beautiful. We had Romeo & Juliet Prosecco whilst we perused the menu, which took a little while as we couldn't decide because everything sounded lovely. In the end, we chose whitebait & feta parcel, kleftico & duck breast, all of which were beautifully presented, generous & delicious. We shared the orange pie as we were full but couldn't resist the dessert as it sounded gorgeous. The service was also very good. I would definitely recommend Eros & look forward to returning. Always nice fresh bread,the chicken corrie is especially good,the only minor quibble is they could do with more selections of cakes and its pot luck if you can park in knowle as the free 30 mins cp's get full up after 11am . Otherwise you can not go wrong with any choice from the menu - its all very nice - which is nigh praise from myself as i can usually find some fault with a cafe menu ,but not this one - its the number one cafe in knowle .

Yeah very tasty however I have had upset Stomach since I Had it on Friday? Maybe it’s a one off however it has put me off.
