Excellent cafe with good food and friendly service

This is easily the best cafe around here. Brilliant service, excellent food too. Can't say enough for the place.

They couldn’t have been more helpful and more pleasant! Compared to the French bakery around the corner! We will definitely be coming back!

Skipped breakfast to try the Swan Yard, did it fail? NO! This is a hidden gem in knowle, those that live local must know about it as it’s always busy! From the latte, chai and eggs on toast - 10/10 from me. Portion size is good, the food is tasty and the cafe is clean. Thanks to Paul and the team for the great service. Molly was amazing too, so friendly and professional. Found my coffee & meeting spot in the wonderful Knowle

I've been here twice now, and on both occasions, I've had a fantastic experience. I had the Swan Yard breakfast, and my partner had a sausage and egg sandwich, and we can't fault anything. We would definitely recommend coming here.

This is the best Full English Breakfast I have ever had in years. The quality of bacon and sausage is topnotch. Swan Yard uses only the freshest ingredients, hence, all the food taste absolutely delicious. But what stands them out amongst the rest is their excellent customer service. Everyone in their team is very accommodating, friendly, attentive, courteous and really hardworking. They are a "TEAM" in its real meaning. And that is why I keep on coming back and I highly recommend this little cafe in Knowle. A truly "MUST-TRY."

Acabamos de tomar un desayuno encantador en el patio de cisnes. Fuimos como un grupo de nueve para celebrar un cumpleaños familiar. El personal era servicial y fueron capaces de reorganizar los asientos para que pudiéramos sentarnos todos juntos. La comida era muy rápida pero de muy alta calidad. Muy recomendable.

Un lugar maravilloso para celebrar un cumpleaños familiar. El personal era muy servicial, lo que hace posible que un grupo grande se siente juntos para un delicioso desayuno. Siempre hay una cálida bienvenida y las mesas se limpian muy rápidamente, por lo que es un lugar muy agradable para comer fuera y ponerse al día con amigos y familiares. Pedimos una amplia gama de comida - desayunos completos, sándwiches de salchichas y un increíble cruasán de almendras (que resulta ser vegano si eso es útil para alguien) Las bebidas estaban todas calientes y una gran selección. Gracias a todo el personal, que trabaja muy duro para mantenerlo como uno de nuestros lugares favoritos para ir. 😊

What an incredible cafe in Knowle.. Firstly the customer service is absolutely 15/10 we were so well looked after by all the team! Big shout out to Millie & Molly who went above and beyond, were so attentive polite and personable throughout our time there. The menu was amazing and the staff were really accommodating to us swapping up food items we didn’t like etc. The actual food was cooked to perfection and the staff even offered to move tables and chairs into the sunshine outside for us! How cute and exceptional service all round! We will definitely be back!

Great cafe, really welcoming staff and amazing GF offerings. The staff were very knowledgable on gluten free equivalents which was great as some cafes aren’t. The menu is great and the coffee is really good. Would highly recommend

lovely hot cup of of tea ,would have given 5 stars for the food but when the breakfast menu stated lashford sausages I was expecting their traditional thick breakfast sausages,not skinny sausages which tasted very much like Richmonds

Lovely local cafe. Modern style with good coffee and nice food and baked goods. I had the banana bread with Greek yogurt and berries today and it was absolutely divine. The staff are lovely too. I’ve been a couple of times with my daughter (in a pushchair) and they are so helpful.

I can not believe this place has been open for 2 years and I've only just found it, went with a friend then took another friend the week later, then my son, then my husband! Im a little obsessed! The place is immaculate, you ALWAYS get a warm welcome, and the food is straight forward simple food that is freshly cooked with the best ingredients and simply delicious! I have to mention Millie and Addi as they are always very attentive and fun! Do yourself a favour and give it a go, you will not be disappointed!

The food is superb and always well presented, whether you’re having breakfast, brunch or lunch. The staff are friendly, welcoming and can’t do enough for you! I regularly visit swan yard and there’s always a good atmosphere. A must visit if you’re in the Solihull / Knowle area.

SwanYard Coffee Kitchen is such a great spot! We had the Chicken Wrap, a Yard breakfast, Avo&eggs and gf bread too !! All food was spot on. Tables always available, all staff are lovely and greet you at the door. Definitely worth a visit! Thanks Paul&Hayley

What an amazing cafe. Family run & the best food. Protein pancakes are a must! Or the burgers, eggs on toast to Steak wraps. Milkshakes, protein shakes or great coffee. The staff are super friendly. Would travel for this place. Perfect for meeting with friends and family. Defo give this one a try.

i went here the other day on a cold morning and my dad went to get a coffee and i got a hot chocolate. the hot chocalate was so nice and my dad said the coffee was better than costas. i really recommend this

£15 is quite expensive for a breakfast so I was expecting something great. Sadly the breakfast was average. All the components were pre cooked. I hate that. Bacon, dry Sausages, cut in half, dry Mushrooms, kept warm and boiled, tasted weird Egg, crispy on the bottom, slimey bit on the top Hash brown, soggy, these should be crisp

A lovely cafe! I went here with my two children (4 and 9). We had a smoothie and a couple of their cakes. I also had a cup of tea. Everything was lovely and the service was great and very welcoming. They do lovely smoothies, where they give you the option to have peanut butter in or not. The cakes were especially delicious - their rocky road was really lovely and their raspberry, lemon and pistacchio traybake was particularly amazing.

My wife and I were out cycling along the nearby canal (we are not local to this area) and decided to grab a coffee and a bite to eat, so we ventured into Knowle. It was more by accident that we found this delightful place just off the main road, up a side street. We were able to sit at a table outside with our bikes. The food was fantastic, along with our beverages. We were greeted and served by friendly, cheerful staff who went that little bit further to ensure our visit was a superb experience. We will definitely head for here the next time we are in the area.

Had the Yard Breakfast really great perfect eggs ! Place was buzzing and full staff great luckily got a table. They are opening in the evenings soon can’t wait to try it

The food is brilliant and was served at a fast pace.The service was brilliant so kind to me and perfect with kids.the atmosphere was a bit quiet as it was a monday lunch time but was not empty.

This visit to Swanyard was absolutely fantastic. Quite honestly the best full english breakfast I think I’ve ever had… The place itself looks new, bright and clean with a great atmosphere. Food was delivered promptly, and was glad to see they certainly don’t skimp on portion sizes. A perfect mix of quality and quantity here. Fantastic spot, and certainly worth a visit if you’re nearby and peckish. Well done Team Swanyard! Will be returning VERY soon.

We are in Swan Yard every week without fail. They make the best coffee around and the service is always brilliant. There are lots of food choices to suit everyone including kids, our toddler loves it here. The team are really welcoming and I can’t recommend it enough ☺️

Situated behind the High Street in Knowle. It can get very busy but tables turn over quite quickly so we didn’t wait long. Immaculately clean with very friendly and efficient staff. The kitchen is visible which is a nice touch and super clean too. Tables are laid out to provide space around them so we didn’t feel crammed in and there is a few tables outside too. The food is delicious although not the cheapest it certainly does give value for money. We had Avocado with poached eggs on brown toast and would thoroughly recommend.

Strange set up. I`d love to give a proper review, but having tried to contact them via the only means they seem to have (Social media) I`ve had no success. I`ve been trying to see if they do take away as we regulary collect 8-12 meals a day for our office staff and food looks good. They do not have a phone number, website or email address. Messaged them on social media, message was read but no reply ??..... Clearly doing to well. Shame as it looks good

It was super busy this morning. Lovely to see an independent cafe thriving! Staff were nice and accommodating. Coffee was amazing. We ordered the Full English, everything was really nice except the hash browns. One was really tough & chewy and the other was really nice. Quite odd but hey these things happen. Love that it’s Dog /Child friendly. All cutlery is available at the front with clean cups for water. All self explanatory. Very clean.

Had a quick breakfast. Nice location and very busy. Plus side you can take your dog in there but a bit expensive.

Highly recommended for afternoon tea :-)

We always love visiting Swan Yard & it is a real treat every time we go. The food is excellent quality & cannot be faulted & they have a great choice of beautifully cooked & crafted food & drinks. The chef is brilliant & they are so obliging even with difficult & super fussy people like me, who have certain food intolerances. The staff themselves make it a pleasure to visit & they are consistently friendly, happy & quick as anything with helping you. It has a lovely bright friendly atmosphere, whaever time of day you visit & it is a credit to Knowle. We are so lucky to have somewhere like this to eat & drink at. Also - it is always spotlessly clean.

Lovely cafe that we found by chance! Staff were all very kind, drinks and food were very quick regardless to it being fairly busy.

Nice food but very expensive for what you get. Chef was extremely put out when asked for something not on the menu - beans on toast even though a full breakfast is on the menu.

Ordered fries with our meal and the young lady at the till, whilst hearing this, didn't put it through, so the meal arrived without and we had had to sort this out ourselves, without I might add receiving any kind of apology. I appreciate that mistakes do happen, but in light of the lady admitted it was her fault I'd have remedied this by giving the fries to the customer for free, by way of a gesture of kindness ( or maybe a free coffee or pudding as an alternative ). Little things like that go a long way in my book! It does seem a little off to have to get our own cutlery, also. Finally, might I request that if they do burgers, which they do, they add a veggie/vegan burger to the menu. The food was nice

Really lovely place. Great food and good service. I have given 3 stars because I brought my elderly Mum who is very wary of dogs. There were 3 in there, one of which approached her and for this reason, I will not be bringing her again

This place is so packed with pushchairs and tables that I could hear other people’s conversations easier than my own. Didn’t stay to try the food it felt too claustrophobic and noisy

Cheek by jowl - looked a great place but the amount of tables that were crammed in such a small space was reminiscent of a school canteen and so loud as everyone had to talk loudly because of the claustrophobic seating arrangements. Rather pricey too

Visited last week for brunch with a friend. We had the banana bread and waffles. The banana bread was amazing and generous portion size. My friend had the waffles which was way bigger than expected. Staff are friendly and the cafe is always super clean and the food is always really nice.

THE BEST MILKSHAKES! We decided to stop in after a walk around the village and what a great find. Friendly staff, delicious food and some of the best milkshakes around. Look forward to returning soon
