Cafe Viola in Solihull

Hi, I only gave it four stars due to the cost of the cakes, they were very expensive but... there's always a but they were nice. Service was good and very pleasant atmosphere. Thank you

the workers are lovely and greet you politely when you walk in. food is really nice aswell as the drinks. would recommend for some lunch.

Took a detour off the M42 and found this gem. Really nice Mediterranean food and great coffee. Friendly service and dogs allowed too. Will definitely come back.

The coffee is very rich and flavorful. This is the only coffee I drink now. I think everyone should try it at least once.

Surprised to learn that tapas are available, which are great alternatives to regular cafe food. Barca is the deep fried whitebait which was all crunchy and umami. Toledo is shrimp with mushroom in pepper etc which was YUM. Best thing is, the large coffee is still MASSIVE!

Very overpriced food, nothing special, taste like it wasn’t freshly made on site, more like food from supermarket.

Went to Viola and had tea and scone. When the scone arrived it was a miniature of the type used with afternoon tea when there are several. Cost for one miniature scone £3.29. Daylight robbery I'm afraid

A very pleasant, dog-friendly café with plenty of vegetarian options. Strong Turkish vibe is great. The wraps and paninis are excellent, the cakes even better. Most of the cakes are baked fresh on the premises, I understand. Great coffees, too, of all kinds. Definitely try this place if you're in Knowle. Managed to grab another quick visit and had a really nice cooked wrap. Excellent service and excellent food.

Pink is Cafe Viola’s favourite colour. With its vibrant decor and outdoor seating arrangement. This is the cafe to be seen drinking outside.

Beautiful cafe, my favourite in the village. Lovely hot chocolates.

Just love Viola..the owners and all they have done here and for community..would love to see evening dinner return with the atmosphere they created.

Good food. Mixture of known and new foods. Greek, English and Tukish. Was able to order non menu items. Outdoor seating. Good friendly vibe. Toilets after steps. A good establishment for Knowle. It helps improve High St with its high-quality food and outdoor seating.

Nothing too special, but overall good. Would’ve given 5 stars if the food didn’t take ages to arrive.

Happened to be in knowle so grabbed Sunday lunch. Turkish chicken kebab and Turkish meatballs were tasty enough. The milkshakes were very special, overall food and venue were good.

We always enjoy the lunches at Cafe Viola. Such a lovely friendly place with a good atmosphere. The falafel wraps are wonderful, as is the rest of the menu. I can't wait to try the afternoon teas, they look so delicious. A little gem in Knowle.

Trying hard and I think achieving Covid secure service whilst still an enjoyable atmosphere. Food good as ever and generous portion size. Excellent and fairly priced wine list care of Connolly's fine wines. Very quiet due to Corona virus restrictions, so good time to give them a try?

This Italian style Coffee Shop has a lovely atmosphere well set out and bigger than it looks from the street. The coffee gets top Mark's from me. As I have not sampled the food yet I can not comment but It has a good proportion of locals present. So would imagine the food would also be very good.

Absolutely terrible service! I’ve never been treated with so much attitude by a waitress. The service completely destroyed the whole experience and nothing could ever make up for basic manners

I visit this café regularly for coffee and a tea cake whilst I'm out cycling. I always get a warm welcome from the staff and the coffee and tea cake are always excellent.

Had a lovely meal this evening with my boyfriend, the lady who served us was very welcoming and kind. The decor was very nice and was well laid out. Food was delicious and good portion sizes too. Will definitely be back again!

Ordered 2 cups of tea and 2 X poached eggs on toast =£16.80! It came out with 2 eggs on 2 halves of a toasted panini with butter on the side? Not saying the food was bad but come on.... I've never paid this much money for poached eggs before. I go to London regularly and have never paid this much.

For a sunny mid afternoon mid week place to stop of and enjoy a bite to eat,coffee . Nice relaxing and not over imposing high street cafe on a quiet town.Food was fine, will be more than willing to bring friends next time

Brill place, been there twice, food is simple and delicious. Place itself very friendly, more caffe-like, not a restaraunt. Lunch for 5 wasabout £60. Will come again.
