Yes, I finally found a proper independent family restaurant worth to visit very often. Freshness and passion in food mixed with excellence and politeness in service, exactly what to expect from a good Mediterranean. I can not recommend it enough. I love their local Mediterranean dishes, specially the chicken skewers (souvlaki).

We wanted a change to Saturday day in Solihull so chose Knowle even though there aren’t many shops left open. Table at 12:30, we were first in, had the place to ourselves for 20 minutes. Greek background music was great. One vegan and one fussy eater but our server was very helpful and offered to serve items on separate plates. My vegan penne arrabiata was perfect. The salmon, king prawns, potatoes, lots of veg was well cooked and delicious. The best meal they had eaten in ages!! Service was very good. Nice guys. Planning to go back soon and take my hubby with me.

Very good quality food, a nice range of Italian and some Greek too. The ceilings are very low so "mind your head" applies to most people, even as you go in the door!

This place was expensive and the Christmas Dinner was ville I'd not recommend this place the Dinner was not a proper meal nor any thing you would give some one to eat it was like a kids meal it was awfull

Absolutely gem! Originally from London, we make a reservation for Christmas lunch. Well, everything we had was amazing! The entries, were very well presented & great variety. The main were AMAZING! The lamp was so soft and tender, cooked to perfection! Dessert; u must try galaktoboureko. Service was excellent! Polite, fast, always with a smile! Overall was a great Christmas experience, food and atmosphere wise! Be back? Definitely YES 9/10 Μπράβο παιδιά!!!!

Fabulous dinner we had in a stopover in Solihull! We had; Soup (tomato) Salmon Kleftiko (lamb) Everything was cooked to perfection, super flavourful and piping hot. The service was friendly. I marked atmosphere down only because it’s quite small, so when it’s busy it can be a little loud… But I wouldn’t fault them. Fabulous food, wish i lived near as I would visit again and again.

The food was delicious, especially the kantaifi pudding.

Lovely restaurant and fantastic food. Visited Sunday 8th October. Attentive host who gave us a window table. Gave us enough time to peruse the menu whilst serving drinks. All the food was beautifully presented, well cooked and prepared and absolutely delicious. The Greek Goddess desert was to die for. Well worth a visit and I will definitely go back.

Went for an early meal with the children. We were welcomed and wonderfully looked after throughout. Fantastic food to boot.

Turned up late, was welcomed in and fed splendid Italian food, service is the kind you wish would be the case everywhere, you have to go, they deserve to be booked up for months to come, and may I add that I am a particularly tough audience tonight 😉

My friends chose this restaurant for a goodbye meal as I’m going back to Australia What a great choice! Cosy, intimate but not pretentious, I felt very comfortable here. The upstairs rooms were lovely. The lady serving us was excellent, attended to us promptly, with the food arriving correctly and with good intervals. We all had excellent meals with the quality being as good as you would expect. Good parking close by that was free after 6.00pm and other bars around to grab an extra drink on your way home. Very happy to recommend Eros.

There with my wife, son and daughter in law. We all loved it. So friendly and warming. Would most definitely recommend.

Our first experience at Eros was pleasant. Nice atmosphere, staff friendly. My wife ordered a vegetarian Moussaka which she remarked was tasty and a generous portion. I had the lamb shank with new potatoes and vegetables. The dish was tasty, lamb well cooked but the portion size of vegetables were poor. Two small new potatoes halved, a few slices of carrot and courgette. The total bill which was for mains only and a bottle of sparkling water was over £50. I would hesitate to recommend the restaurant to family and friends as value for money is poor.

A small, cosy restaurant on Knowle High St, staff were so polite and attentive. The four of us had an upstairs table. I ordered calimari to start and chicken souvlaki for mains. Everything was beautifully cooked and the portions generous. We washed it all down with a bottle each of white and red wine and finished with a coffee. Can't wait to go again. Top notch.

A very nice and relaxing restaurant with tasty Mediterranean food and friendly service. For those with disability considerations it's in one of Knowle's older buildings, thus access needs to be checked. Not far from the Knowle car parks.

I had the pleasure of dinning here with some friends last week I was met with nothing but amazing service and unbelievably amazing food the plethora of flavours was explosive and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough, I’ll look forward to coming back soon

If you're looking for a delicious meal in Knowle, Eros restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I had the lamb kleftico and it was cooked to perfection, with a wonderful blend of herbs and spices that made it incredibly flavorful. The restaurant itself has a cozy and intimate atmosphere, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. Overall, I had a great experience at Eros and would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area.

Nice friendly restaurant, clean toilets and friendly staff. Set menu, £30 for 3 courses on a Sunday. Starter of prawns was ok, nothing impressive. Beef main was presented nicely, all of our meats were tough, veg cooked nicely, and cauliflower cheese as a extra side was Cheesy and nice. Desert go for the orange pie is my advice. Waiter told about the 3 beef meals and all were tough, he relayed back to kitchen and that was that. A comp of coffees would of sorted this out as beef can sometimes be tough and who wants the chef teeth marks in their beef to make sure it's tender? Overall 3.5 out of 5 could do better.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Eros on Saturday. The food was very authentic Mediterranean, and the service was excellent. When I saw how well my friend's steak had been cooked, I wished I had gone for that, but will do next time!

Lunch here. Odd decor. Odd menu. There's talent in the kitchen, for sure, but you need to look hard and have some luck to choose it from the menu.

First time at Eros - was intrigued by the combination Greek/Italian - have to say the chef is amazing - all 6 dishes we had were fabulous - atmos really - busy and well worth a visit - great value for money

Very nice. I had an aubergine starter and a massive pizza for my main. The service was excellent and I will return to try more of the menu. There was no draft beer was the only downside although they had a nice selection of bottles. The bill was very reasonable as it was a very good experience.

First time visiting and it was lovely! I’m a coeliac and called ahead to let them know and to ask about their menu (which mentions there’s a risk of traces of gluten in all dishes due to using it in the kitchen). When I went, they were great and adapted a dish to make it gluten free and took extra care in the kitchen. I was fine after and the food was great! Would recommend.
