Vinimos aquí como un regalo para una celebración, todo fue como se anuncia, cada etapa de la visita nos hizo sentir bienvenidos, nos lo pasamos muy bien. Llegamos un poco temprano a una cálida bienvenida y una agradable charla con el Sommelier que nos dio algunos antecedentes de la impresionante carta de vinos. Como aparte, alguien ha mencionado que la botella más barata disponible es de 70 £ , ya no es así, hay varias por debajo de 70 £ . Después de ser mostrados a nuestra habitación, que era fabuloso nos dieron una bebida de bienvenida y un aperitivo, ambos fueron presentados por un miembro del personal que explicó algo de la ética de G & S. Luego un paseo por un jardín casi vacío (es febrero) sin embargo, el Chef explicó tanto sobre los desafíos de cultivar orgánicamente y cultivar alimentos con buen gusto. Luego tuvimos una cata de vinos con Harry en la mansión. Tiene mucho que ver con él, muchas anécdotas. Lo hizo divertido e informativo. Una de las mejores catas de vinos que hemos experimentado. En cuanto a la comida, 14 platos, sí, como alguien dijo algunos de ellos son solo un bocado, pero los sabores son increíbles y muchos vienen como platos pequeños, no te vas con hambre. La presentación y el servicio son 1 clase de calle, el personal es tan profesional y amable. En general una gran visita, buena relación calidad-precio y algo que volveremos a hacer.

A small, dark and unassuming little shop. You wouldn't know it was open. In fact I walked past it twice looking for somewhere for food. But, pleased I did drop in. Was greeted by a lovely flavoursome smell, and I'm vegetarian. Various hot and cold deli items. Didn't seem to have too much for veggies, although I did find something I was happy with. Perhaps it was because it was fairly late in the day. Staff very friendly and prices decent. The shop itself looked a bit lacking but I feel, fine as a corner shop for essentials. I recommend. Don't walk past.

came here on my last night in birmingham before moving to australia and had a great time. there was a really sweet server on that night that actually spoke to me outside of just taking my order,they were funny and seemed really cool. i think their name was max but incase i’m wrong they had cool piercings and sick tattoos. the food was perfect,came out actually hot which is so rare these days😭 overall can’t give one fault,genuinely a lovely place with lovely people.

Just recovering from cancer treatment and was taking a dear friend out for a birthday meal. Lady front of house greeted us by saying "you need to be out in 90 minutes". Was left feeling very unwelcome after a few seconds. We were not able to have puddings or coffees as we were over time. Really unpleasant and ruined what was a lovely meal. I feel bad putting 1 star for service as our actual waitress was very attentive.

Serving staff were helpful and nice, especially Sophia & the chaps manning the bar. The issue is the menu and the quality of the food. I'm vegan, they have a vegan curry on the menu. I fancied a burger with fries. The moving mountains burger, salad, onion chutney & fries option was vegetarian rather than vegan because of the brioche bun (this is standard). There was crusty bread on the menu, so I asked to swap the brioche for crusty bread. But no, the crusty bread was not vegan. It's really hard to find bread that's not vegan, but this restaurant has managed to. I was then served a somewhat dried out or over microwaved burger that took serious effort to cut, with a nice side salad. The chutney only comes with the brioche, so I didn't get that. The kitchen decided not to give me fries. This turned out to be because they use the same oil for other things, so very aware of them. However, they didn't check if that was what I expected (I don't mind). After discussion I did get fries but it was an underwhelming meal. A poor menu for vegans.

Decent food and good app ordering service. A little pricey at £25 a head for a drink and main course but there were deals available on tapas if you had wanted them
