As always perfect meals & service. 4 of us dined for a birthday celebration, seated in the Orangery with lovely views. I had the rump steak panini, it was tender & tasty. Great value at £11.50, cheaper than a burger in other restaurants! The others enjoyed their meals, all presented & cooked perfectly. Return visit planned again. Fin (our waiter) was friendly & had a sense of humour which added to the great service he provided.

Went for breakfast. 3 full english breakfasts ordered. Food was overcooked and meagre. Beans in a thimble, black pudding like hard tack buscuits. We couldnt eat it. Took staff ages to clear away. They were lots of staff but non attentive. Wont be back.

Went for dinner this afternoon , as soon as we walked threw the door a lovely lady called Lisa greeted us and took us to an available table , we had the Katus curry wrap with chips and it beautiful, wasn’t waiting for food for long and throughout our visit I was asked if everything was okay and needed anything else , definitely visit again . At the end of our visit , I was unsure how to use the grill app however Lisa soon helped us with how it works and what it has too offer , great service , great food and great price

A very lovely place looks like everything is newly furbished. Very clean the service was fast and friendly. We had the sharing board Sunday lunch. It was really tasty and loved the huge Yorkshire pudding. The only niggle was it wasn't very hot it was just slightly warm. Otherwise, for flavour service and surroundings, it's a 10 out of 10.

My birthday tea with one smoked salmon sandwich two ham and two cream cheese and the bread was stale and the fillings pathetic. Cakes were two small pots of cold carrot soup how is that afternoon tea. The mince cakes were bought cases with cold mince spooned in. Two tiny brownies and two large scones that were crispy with insipid jam and cream. The teapot was stained and the man who came to tell us what we were having kept poking his finger at the food to illustrate it and came close to putting his finger in the food. Quite an expensive experience.

I hate giving poor reviews but despite receiving a refund the way the fish fingers were supplied as dry, tough and over baked not only mine but my partner’s as well left us both very disappointed as we were expecting a nice meal after a pleasant walk. Apologies were received but a simple cook for fish fingers appears beyond the abilities of the “cook”. Mind you the roll was ok. We expect better on our next trip.
