Lovely restaurant with views over the river. Service was excellent as was the food . Lovely Caitlin looked after our table a pleasant helpful and cheerful young lady.

We did not stay in the hotel, but we stopped by for some food on a long journey. The food was fantastic, as was the service. Dog friendly, and beautiful views. Thank you to our waitress Lesley who was absolutely lovely

As always perfect meals & service. 4 of us dined for a birthday celebration, seated in the Orangery with lovely views. I had the rump steak panini, it was tender & tasty. Great value at £11.50, cheaper than a burger in other restaurants! The others enjoyed their meals, all presented & cooked perfectly. Return visit planned again. Fin (our waiter) was friendly & had a sense of humour which added to the great service he provided.

We go there fairly often and we are never disappointed. The food is excellent with different choices from the local pubs which makes it a better experience and is added to by the decor and set right by the river with fantastic views.

Came for a breakfast with my son. Food and service amazing, beautiful location and lovely inside. Thoroughly reccomend.

Location = amazing!! Service = quite slow but great service when they get to you + amazing food! ASH in particular served us for our anniversary and he was so kind and considerate and checked in frequently! . Have been a few times and will come again! :-)

Myself partner and friends just popped in for a quick drink and found that this beautiful pub and its location on the Riverside was a perfect setting for a meal and we shall deffo return

Christmas Day lunch was hugely disappointing! It seems they focused all efforts on the traditional turkey meal and other options were an after thought. My starter of crab salad was a disgusting dollop of what looked like cat vomit! Inedible! Sea bass main was ok, ice cream and sorbet desert had been forgotten and looked like it was scraped from the long lost depths of the freezer, cheap, tasteless and iced up! Again inedible. The meals arrived at different times and one of the deserts was incorrect, given we had to preorder so far in advance, how was this possible. No apologies even though this was highlighted at the time. Will never repeat the experience here and suggest you consider long and hard before booking here!

Spent a lovely couple of hours here. We had the Steak Ciabatta and the Fish Goujon Ciabatta for lunch. Very nice dressing on the salad. But we really didn't want a pudding.

We have been here a couple of times for a meal. The location is spectacular & well worth a visit if not for food at least visit for a drink. There are plenty of outdoor tables & chairs that look out over the river & the well tended gardens. The indoor tables are popular & I would recommend reserving one as it can get very busy. The food was well presented & tasty. 2 of us had mixed grills which were well cooked & huge! The staff were welcoming & helpful & we had good service. The premises were clean & tidy. Overall I would highly recommended a visit to this establishment & we will certainly return when we are next in the area.

The ambience is quite different to the inn we stayed at 2 and a half years ago and it seems to be living up to the challenge of great hospitality
