Really good. We have been coming here for years and it sort of fell apart and was often closed. Now it’s great, under new ownership, they do the usual menu plus new healthy options too. Great place to stretch the legs and walk the dogs too. Highly recommended!

In a lovely spot ideal for a dog walk or to break your journey. Nice and friendly very clean, outdoor and indoor seating with a good choice of breakfast or lunches. Public toilets in the parking area. Away from the traffic in a grassy picnic area.

One of the best breakfasts I have had, everything tasty quality. I'm really funny with sausage but it was lovely, proper butter (shirgar) we buy this from farm shop. Definatly be visiting again . Thank you x

Icecreams were too soft... Came off the stick as the paper was removed.. I'm afraid that although we were given replacement.. They weren't much better.

a nice location -took a menu for future visits and to sample the food -well i am a wolf lol- nice and tidy -friendly staff -toilets clean -overall a nice place to stop off. and nice riverside walk- will i sample the £14 monster breakfast? maybe -had a cup of tea -but will return someday!

A favourite stop off point when travelling either to Shropshire or back to Wales. It has everything we need, including lovely staff at the cafe.

Friendly, cheery, and chatty staff "make" a place. And a monster full English brekkie hit the spot with an included coffee. Take a walk on the manicured path by the river too! Lovely.

Cheeseburger and chips was excellent! £9.50 and worth every penny! Staff are lovely. Food is cooked fresh and served piping hot. Highly recommended this place

Had a wonderful break here on my way home from a funeral....the massive slice of Victoria sponge cake served with a fork was just what was needed!! Lived the serving ladies who were smiley and chatty to all. Thank you for the cheer ladies 🤗

Called in on our way home from a holiday. Opted for a cooked breakfast. The bacon was sooo thick, almost a pork chop! Incredible value. The staff were very friendly and the cafe was clean and bright. Well done. Couldn't be asked for better

It's a nice place to stop to stretch your legs and get something to eat & eat.

We decided to pop in here for a lunch, I chose to have a panini Brie, bacon and cranberry. When I came out I was dismayed to see instead of a panini it was toast. Not even a toasted sandwich just toast. I asked about this and I was told that the machine wasn’t working so they didn’t have any panini. I said to them that i wasn’t told that it would just be toast. So the price for a sandwich was less and I wasn’t offered any reimbursement. So it was quite disappointing and expensive for some toast with filling. Such a shame

Great place to stop for good value food.

I didn't actually use the cafe, but the 5 stars are based on it's a great place for a rest stop, better than a lay-by, away from the traffic and in pleasant surroundings. And it does have usable public toilets.

Best and safest place to stop on route

Cracking little gem of a place off the A5 near Shrewsbury. Reminded us of some of the lovely, relaxing stops typical of French route sides. Greenery and seating, great for dogs and kids. Reasonably priced food n drink. The toilets are a bit Spartan and utilitarian but they were clean. Ideal for motorhome with dog travel stops.

Perfect for a pit stop, was in motorhome and loads of room to park. Toilets in site too. Breakfast was absolutely as fresh as could be, not greasy and nicely presented. Good value for money with tea and toast. Will visit again when passing. Well done ladies

Discovered this cafe on the way to Wales last year and now it is my go to first stop on a full day touring. Ample parking and seating and very good food at a great price. I had hearty full English breakfast with a mug of tea for £9.50 which is great value.

Had a burger and chips recently and it was great! Much better than I've paid more for in pubs and restaurants. Keep up the great work guys!

Go there about once a month, breakfast is great and they use good quality produce. Friendly staff and lot's of parking. Definitely recommend 👌 👍

I think it's a lovely place to take a rest when travelling back from Wales. Plenty places to sit including umbrellas I use it as a Biker stop when coming home from wales or touring around Shropshire on my way back to Telford.

Lovely kept grass area with ample tidy benches or inside tables if preferred. Great range of food very reasonable priced. We had the English breakfast which was beyond our expectations. Would recommend and use again.

Can't believe we used to drive past this place , great stop off to take the dog a walk , sit down and enjoy some great food and coffee . Toilets are on site as is outdoor seating and picnic area .. . This is a gem of a place for a rest and stretch your legs . Staff are really nice and the food is fab .

After spending £2.80 on a cappuccino, you’d expect more than instant coffee and milk. However, you would be severely disappointed and that is what you would get. Freshly brewed coffee shmeshly brewed coffee.

Easy parking toilets and a good place to stretch your legs

Had a fantastic breakfast roll, was the biggest cooked breakfast I've had in years just inside a bread roll! Will definitely be back! There was a car meet here on the day and the cafe was coping very well with the increased trade, no queue or waiting all very fast and efficient. Staff were very friendly to!

What a fantastic find! Situated within a grassed area this little cafe serves breakfasts and lunches either to eat in or take away. Using local produce, the breakfast is a dream ~ great sausages, bacon, eggs etc. My husband and I like to call in on a Friday to pick up a bacon and egg bap and a sausage and mushroom bap as a treat to start the weekend off. The locally roasted Iron and Fire coffee is delicious and worth visiting for alone. Great cafe, great service and reasonable prices.

This was a very u expected and very pleasant experience. Never stopping here before .it was only 2 black coffee s an2 bacon baps the best I have ever eaten.

I had a really lovely breakfast here around midday, the cafe was warm (freezing outside). It was quiet - I could do a little work on my laptop for a short while halfway through the day. Its in a lovely setting too for some fresh air. The Manager/Owner sat and chatted with me for 5 mins which was nice, really polite lady. The food was lovely, really filling and plentiful. I will definitely be popping back on an ad-hoc basis when i'm passing through for work for a short break, a cuppa and a bite to eat :-) Thanks, Andy
