The Deli in the village are amazing, we used them to cater for our wedding, the food was delicious, staff were friendly, conscientious, and the service was fantastic. Would definitely recommend and would use again.

Came here on Sunday morning before visiting elderly relatives. Good quality coffee, excellent breakfast omelette and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. All served hot and promptly. Friendly staff.

Perfect place for family dinner,100% would recommend. Definitely coming back here. Seriously underrated. Wish I knew this place earlier.

Food took ages and orders were wrong waiters were rude and unhelpful

We stayed here from the 25th of October to the 29th and wow it was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We booked two rooms and in one of them the bathroom fan wasn’t even working. We usually book with premier inn instead of holiday inn or someplace else because it normally has better quality however this one was very disappointing. There were cracks and damp everywhere. And on our final night there were around 20 larger mosquitoes as well as several other bugs there. Which leads to my point on customer service. It was abysmal. On our final night we came back at 2/3am and was so tired. So seeing those bugs was especially horrible. We asked the receptionist for help and she was rude and useless. We asked to switch rooms but she said no, we then asked for something to get rid of them like bug spray or disinfectant to which she said no. She then told us it was our fault for leaving the window open however we received no warning when we came so how would we know to keep the windows shut. We then had to spend half and hour using tissues (which they didn’t refill, we had to get a pack from reception) to catch and kill the mosquitos. Another thing that really irked me was the fact that we asked our room to be cleaned twice and both times they didn’t do it. We then asked a third time to which they said our room was too dirty. Honestly it may have been a bit messy however they could’ve at least changed the bins and refilled the tissues. This hotel was truly a nightmare and I have many more complaints but overall the staff were rude and unhelpful. I especially hope that the lady who was working at 2/3am on 29/10/24 gets dealt with because I have never met a ruder worker. For the amount paid I will very much be moving onto holiday inn or something. Very disappointed. I wish we took photos of the bugs but unfortunately it didn’t come to mind while we were catching them.

I took my mother and kids there for a birthday recently. Having eaten there a number of times, I was not disappointed again. The food is tremendous - a hidden gem. Lovely atmosphere and lovely friendly staff. Good beer, darts, pool and sports you can watch on one of about 8 TV’s and screens. Can’t rate the place highly enough.

I have been visiting Hagley Golf Club for quite a while for Sunday Lunch I have nothing but high praise for the food served and the hospitality offered The food and service is always first class with excellent Customer Service at all times Nothing is too much trouble for the staff I would highly recommend Hagley Golf Club if you’re looking for excellent food and service

We had a lovely lunch there today, very clean and tidy. Would recommend to anyone.

It may well be that the waiter/server? was very new but before my husband helped me out of my wheelchair to a seat, he asked what drinks we wanted. Then when came to take our order we had no menus. He pointed to a wine menu so we had to point out what it was. A few more trivial issues arose which had to be rectified by another staff member. It rather spoilt the occasion & suggest all staff are fully trained before given such responsibilities.

Amazing place, drinks are so cheap and amazing selection and food is very nice. Selena and Jess served us and were amazing! Will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend.

Excellent food and service, we were served by Paige and nothing was too much trouble. We celebrated my husbands birthday and will return.
