Amazing place, drinks are so cheap and amazing selection and food is very nice. Selena and Jess served us and were amazing! Will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend.

We attended a function for a friends birthday situated in the Tipi, I chose Roast chicken breast which had bones in the middle which we were unaware of as it didn't state that on the menu and for dessert I had Vanilla Panna cotta but while eating this I found a ten pence piece and also a five pence piece further down in the dish, the waitress took the dish away returned about 10 minutes later and asked if I would like anything else to which I refused. At no point did a senior member of staff come to our table to explain or apologise. I have emailed The Crown twice for an explanation but after a week I am still waiting for a reply. We have found this very unprofessional of the owner/manager and obviously would not return.

What a great improvement to such a lovely pub, the atmosphere is electrifiying with great entertainment and fun bar staff, happy to serve you throughout the night and great deals on tap coming in the spring and new spirits that feel like they are growing weekly! The food from Gourmet Street is absolutely smashing and a very nice addition to the pub which was really needed

Great to see this place finally getting the recognition it deserves. The new menu looks amazing - I didn’t have food but I’ll definitely be back to try it. Also great to see some familiar faces - having Laura back behind the bar makes the atmosphere so lovely.

The Crown Inn has really improved in just a month, the food tastes amazing (Hattrick Burger and fries) and the drinks on tap taste much better, Bryce is a speedy little devil and always tries his best behind the bar (where he belongs!) My family and I went to dine there the other week and the service from all the staff was incredible. Our food was perfect and the atmosphere of the place was beyond amazing. As i said before, Bryce stood out to me the most and all his effort was incredibly impressive for someone his age. 5 stars from us.

I was in the catshill area and I googled some pubs and I thought I would give the crown inn a try. I loved the atmosphere and the great service received from Laura. I will definitely be coming back soon as I need to get me another plate of the loaded fries!

Recently moved here and decided to try the crown inn! Have to say I had a fabulous time lovely atmosphere and our bartender Laura was absolutely amazing! Just so friendly quick and kind. Her service was impeccable and made our time here so enjoyable will definitely be back again!

Since the Crown has been under new management the atmosphere is amazing!! They now do food, which is soooo good! The staff are lovely, especially Emma, shes the best barmaid there is!!♥️ highly recommend!

This place certainly has a better atmosphere since we came a couple of years ago! Managers are lovely, and all the bar staff very attentive and polite. Had a very good chat with Laura and i recognised her face as soon as she chatted with us, always been pleasant 😊

Popped in on my way home from work for a cheeky drink was served by the most wonderful barstaff, Laura who was very accommodating, had the best customer service skills I've seen for ages would highly recommend The Crown Inn and if you're ever in ask for Laura to serve you.

Looking fab inside nice and clean and makes much more sense with the rearrangement of pool tables ect..and the food looks yum not eaten here myself yet but my daughter has and she's impressed lovely to see some old faces back like Laura she's always very friendly and welcoming will see you all again soon.👍👏👏

Visited recently, just for a couple of pints. We were told that the new owners were bringing food back, and Emma, a fantastic hostess and bar person, recommended the loaded fries. It was a great recommendation that we'll be back for more of! Great pub, great atmosphere, and great staff. Cheers! ☘️

I experienced a very bad night I witnessed my friend pay 150 pound on a deposit we was golden and she didn’t get her money back made me sick to the stomach this close to Christmas now she’s struggling to get her kids the Christmas they really deserved this time of the year is about giving not stealing from the good :(

We had a lovely evening at The Crown Inn. There was a live band. Friendly people and dog friendly. The only disappointment was no food was on offer.

Great local pub with a good selection of beers/lagers and a very well kept Guinness. I can't rate the food as 8 haven't eaten here.

Went yesterday (Sunday) with a prebooked group of 15 walkers. The pub is lovely, with lots of character. There are lots of screens with Skysports able to show different events on different screens. There are a number of cosy pods outside and a large grassy area with picnic tables. It will be lovely to revisit in Summer. We had booked Sunday lunch and it didn't disappoint at all. I had beef which was nicely cooked and not overdone. The vegetables were equally well cooked and everything was served up at a good temperature. Emma did a great job of serving all of us. I will definitely be coming back, keep up the good work...

We have just visited the Crown. Wow what a great meal. A smashing steak and ale pie, really good. The service was friendly and the food was great , very good value.We shall return!

The Crown is now a great place to eat and drink The current owners have completely redone the garden and added pods, a patio, barbecue and covered seating areas. Live music events are always fantastic and even better that they are free entry. The food is now fantastic. Freshly prepared, excellent quality and generous portions. The staff are friendly and customer service great. A perfect local pub.

Visited with wife and son. Had a couple of drinks in bar and the Guinness was spot on, and the Stella fresh and served perfectly. Then had a Sunday lunch which was really nice, just could do with some horseradish for the beef. Lady serving very attentive and couldn’t do more for us.

Great value for money. Great roast dinner and service by a very lovely young lady. Will definitely return.

Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience. My sister came to visit and I took her here for lunch as it said there were plenty of options for children (there were four) and when the children's meals arrived, portions were very small, the teaspoon of beans were nuked into oblivion and hardly any fries. I know the meals were a £1 with an adults meal but we still paid £10 each for a very small adults meal and drinks. A lot of options were no longe available. They ordered an ice cream but said it was inedible. Staff were pretty miserable, surly and we were made to feel unwelcome. It was a shame as they had come a distance but we know not to bother again.

Small but welcoming Christmas Market at the Crown in Catshill, great mulled wine and hot roast pork baps certainly helped keep the cold weather at bay. Only complaint ,it wasn't advertised enough and no festive music, otherwise an enjoyable afternoon.

Return visit. Came here with my mum and partner, this time for lunch. Lovely bright space, flooded with natural light. Service very good and good selection on menu. Food great. The only reason I have not given it 5stars was the annoying background music. My mother and myself are a little deaf and had asked if the music could be turned down a little. This was not done. However would still return.

Attended with my other half, both had steak as a main, I had pork belly as a starter, this would have been perfect if the pork belly had crackling on the top. Will visit again

Throwing my fiancé a birthday party and I was looking for something different than the typical sit down meal where you can only talk to the 4 people sat closest to you and The Crown Inn delivered just that. The tipi was excellent value for money; especially as a family of 22 we take up a lot of space!. Tiff who looked after us was fantastic and the buffet food was gorgeous. An excellent relaxed meal where the kids could run around freely, we could set our own play list to our liking and hook up by Bluetooth with ease and in a great setting. Thank you again to all the staff- I would definitely recommend this place!

I've reviewed The Crown before but it has recently been taken over. It's been upgraded. The food is fabulous and reasonable value. Decent outside seating area. We are regulars. Plenty of parking - if parking opposite be careful crossing the road. Service could be a little sharper at times but still highly recommended.

Lovely welcoming venue, I regularly make a point having a drink here as the staff are so friendly and of course they sell my favourite beer! Peroni 😀 Met up with friends as a half way point it’s great for a casual drink and also does decent food too. I’d recommend this venue.

He estado aquí varias veces y nunca me ha decepcionado. Esta vez fue para la celebración de un cumpleaños familiar. Hubo una confusión para empezar, ya que no me dijo mi hermano cuando él reservado que sólo podía haber una mesa durante 2 horas máximo. Esto fue decepcionante pero ofrecían para servir los postres en un aislarse del pub. Uno de los miembros del grupo es celíaco y hacen atender bastante bien para personas con enfermedad celiaca. La comida era actualmente bien y todo es de calidad. Fue agradable tener la zona privada después de la cena y todo sigue siendo un lugar estupendo para comer.

Our group had mixed views! One of the group chose well, and was happy enough with each course of his meal. Two of us disliked the starter, and didn't finish it. The description had sounded enticing: a mix of ingredients which appealed to both of us. In reality, the overriding flavour was bitter, and we both felt something must have gone wrong with the cooking. These were foods we both like. The waiter consulted the chef, and reported back that chef said everything was fine. Well, not in our view! We weren't charged for the starter, and hoped for a main which we would enjoy. In fact, we found the remaining dishes, the main and the desert, fairly underwhelming. The concensus in our group was that chef was perhaps too ambitious for his/her own skills. Simpler dishes would have perhaps worked better. We all agreed that the meals were overpriced.

excellent pub, two indoor real fire and outdoor real fire. the beers which there are a large selection of real ales are excellent. lager also sold if your into them. the rear outdoor area is well covered with heaters at every table and electric heaters on the walls. this rear area is for smoking and is well used by by both smokers and non smokers. dog friendly. although no food served you can eat food in the outside seating area. a cross section of people from all ages and backgrounds use it. fully recommend

Went with friends who had been recommended to the Crown. Turned out the recommendation was based on looking in the Front door and liking the carpet ! Place itself is fairly typical pub which does typical pub food. Permanent menu plus Specials board which consisted 100 per cent of "Pies". Food disappointing. Any attraction in the place would appear to be in the selection of Real Ales and the music which seemed to be heavilly promoted. Would certainly not go back to eat.

We were taken out by friends to this establishment but felt it was nothing special. The starter garlic bread was lovely as a starter but rubbish with one of the 'dishes!'
