Second time we have been to New Delhi. Food was amazing, staff very efficient and friendly, will definitely be going back on a regular basis.

Awful. We had 2 takeaways on 2 separate occasions. Both times the chips were like rubber and the naan was the same. They are probably warmed up from previous days leftovers. The curry was awful and the chicken is clearly taken out of a plastic bag and then thrown in a vat of fat. You will love this place - NOT.

Lovely food,I just have issues ordering through their website on PC & Phone, it never works lately and end up phoning the order in which comes to more than it does on the website. Update: have been ordering delivery from here for years and lately the service has dropped, taking a long time to deliver and tonight could not even get through on phone (goes to answerphone) to chase our order which, at time of writing, was already over 45mins late.

Nice place, food I've had better. Service was just OK, atmosphere was just ok. Not the best or the nicest restaurant I've been to just ok.

Great food full of flavour and friendly staff too. Makes all the difference to a great meal. Very friendly and polite delivery drivers.

Awfull curry very watery no spice, chips greasy

Went for a family meal, for a birthday, as soon as we walked in we could feel the cold and the place looked dirty We had booked but we still had to wait for table to be set. Waiter was so rude the whole time we were there, no please or thank you and almost being rushed . Food was cold, lacked flavour and everything was dirty, forks were bent , the hot plates were falling apart the drinks were the worst, I ordered a Lime soda water which came in a dirty pint glass , it was just lime squash with tap water, no ice or soda, the others had bottles of coke and was offered no glassware, my friend and her mother asked for a jug of water amd 2 glasses and were given pint glasses with tepid tap water ! Then to top it all off we were rudely asked to leave when we had finished, shocking service, also to finish we were sitting by the kitchen area and we presume doors were open to outside as it was freezing cold and I had to wear my coat to eat my food, they had some questionable heaters which omitted no heat and almost like a smell of drains I will not return here again, first time and last time Only good thing was the company

very disappointing very rushed in and out in know time the food didn’t seem fresh chicken was very tough And really wasn’t well presented then to top it off we was Overcharged.

Food was average at best Service was rushed, with impatient waiters who wanted you in, fed and out asap Ambience was incredibly poor I'm afraid.

The only comment I'd make is please cut up the onions and tomatoes I love veg but not cut up and left pretty much whole. Other than that food was great

I recently discovered this hidden gem of an Indian restaurant in our village, despite living here for years. I decided to take some friends who are curry enthusiasts from out of town, and we were all pleasantly surprised. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The service was top-notch, and what's even better is that the prices were quite reasonable. One unique aspect of this restaurant is that it's unlicensed, so you can bring your own drinks to enjoy with your meal. This adds to the overall charm and affordability of the place. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving delicious Indian cuisine and a wonderful dining experience. It's a true hidden gem that you won't want to miss!

Starters were awful. Vegetable pakori was just potatoe not Indian at all looked like a chicken nuggets. Sheesk kebab fell apart was not good. Mains lovely. Won't order starters again

Great food great service good prices

Great food and service- marred a little by a rowdy group of lads who despite being asked to be quiet by the staff continued. The noise was such my friend and I couldnt hear each other and left early.

Great food, superb service at very reasonable prices. Regulars in there on a Friday or Saturday after a couple of beers and it never lets you down. Great place.

Advertised as open on a Sunday afternoon. It was not when I got there! Rang their number and it appears they only open when they have a few bookings to make it worth while. 😕

Went on a Friday night, was very busy but the food was delicious, the menu options were fantastic. You could bring your own drinks if you wanted alcohol. We were a big table of 12 but were served like we were a table of 4 no problem at all. Great atmosphere will be back.

Two friends and myself had a great curry here, food was very good, starters, mix grill, prawn on purée and nargis kebab, followed by chicken madras, chicken bhuna, mixed grill and sundries, the mattar paniar side was excellent. Will be back.

Over priced for very average food.

Food took a long time to be delivered. When it arrived it was cold. Ordered chicken balti and bunha, not very tasty at all. Personally I won't be using them again.

We had a very pleasant evening here with little if anything to fault. Take your own alcohol is always a bonus but "Indian" restaurants are unsurprisingly getting a bit expensive.

We’ve tried many of the local curry house takeaways and this is the best we’ve had. Really tasty, nice and hot on delivery and we will definitely be ordering from here again!

Tried this for the first time two weeks ago as they were offering 20% off first online order. Live in Stourbridge and place is in Hagley but food arrived on time and hot and no additional charge for delivery. Food is really good and both me and my wife agreed it’s one of the nicest takeaway places we have been to so we had another takeaway last night and will continue to use it. Again last night when I ordered it said 45mins and it arrived exactly at that time!

I used to love this place, fabulous in 2019 and 2020 even during lockdown with takeaway but has gone really down hill. Upstairs is freezing cold, everyone up there was complaining. Waiter extremely rude when I dared ask how long my food would be as we had waited over 40 minutes. Shouting at me that it hadn’t been that long even though I knew it had as I looked at my watch . All in all I would strongly not recommend any longer unfortunately

We have had to stay in throughout the pandemic because of health reasons. We are trying to get out and about again. Lovely takeaway and great staff. We will eat in next time!

I love my curries, and in my opinion, this is the best restraunt I've ever tried. The food is always fantastic, the staff are friendly and you can take your own alcoholic drinks in. What's not to like. Highly recommended!

One of the best Indian's I've ever had! I've used New Delhi now for a few months and they never fail to impress with great food. Whether I come to collect or have it delivered it's always perfect. Great food, Great Service, what a place to eat.

Good food, great service and at a good price. We take our 7 and 11 year old at 17:30 (when they open up) and the staff are really good with the kids. There is no license to serve alcohol so you take your own.

Very pleasant cost effective Indian restaurant. You can bring your own wine, so very reasonable / good for family groups. It's not haut cuisine, but taisty, and filling with no tummy trouble later, as can happen with some establishments using a lot of chili and clarified butter. Overall very good.

The table wasn't ready for us. They failed to let us know how hot the chilli nan. Waiting staff were not interested in us and didn't go out of their way to make us feel special. Bombay Aloo looked like it was left overs and was inedible.

Food was nice, tasty and not greasy. Felt quite good the following morning too. Lost a star because food served was luke warm. The plates were stone cold, so you can see why the food was luke warm. It's very tight on space upstairs but does have an excellent atmosphere. New Delhi is a bring your own beer place.

Really liked this place, staff were friendly and it was comfortable. It got a little noisy with some large groups. The good was great, especially the spicy potato starter and aloo saag. The jalfrezi was very tasty, but the vindaloo wasn't very spicy. Prices are quite reasonable. They serve alcoholic drinks but you can also take your own and they provide glasses.

Booked a table for my birthday for me & my partner for 8am on a Saturday. Basically they forgot about us. Waiters were fairly rude, finally we were thrown our starters onto the table at 9.45 & after asking politely 3 times move tables as we were surrounded by a large birthday party, after getting a definite NO.. we walked out.....never to go back which is an awful shame as we have not long moved to the village.....so back to Lye we go for excellent food and attentive service.

This is a really good curry house, not your usual curried stew establishment you get in this or in fact the whole of the West Midlands area. Delicate flavours, with each dish having a real distinct look. The Salmon dish my wife had was fantastic. I often find most places in the West Mids just serve up a dish in varying colours of brown, red or yellow which all look and taste the same. The chefs here obviously know their stuff. Another big plus is you can bring your own. Keep it up!!
