We stayed here from the 25th of October to the 29th and wow it was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We booked two rooms and in one of them the bathroom fan wasn’t even working. We usually book with premier inn instead of holiday inn or someplace else because it normally has better quality however this one was very disappointing. There were cracks and damp everywhere. And on our final night there were around 20 larger mosquitoes as well as several other bugs there. Which leads to my point on customer service. It was abysmal. On our final night we came back at 2/3am and was so tired. So seeing those bugs was especially horrible. We asked the receptionist for help and she was rude and useless. We asked to switch rooms but she said no, we then asked for something to get rid of them like bug spray or disinfectant to which she said no. She then told us it was our fault for leaving the window open however we received no warning when we came so how would we know to keep the windows shut. We then had to spend half and hour using tissues (which they didn’t refill, we had to get a pack from reception) to catch and kill the mosquitos. Another thing that really irked me was the fact that we asked our room to be cleaned twice and both times they didn’t do it. We then asked a third time to which they said our room was too dirty. Honestly it may have been a bit messy however they could’ve at least changed the bins and refilled the tissues. This hotel was truly a nightmare and I have many more complaints but overall the staff were rude and unhelpful. I especially hope that the lady who was working at 2/3am on 29/10/24 gets dealt with because I have never met a ruder worker. For the amount paid I will very much be moving onto holiday inn or something. Very disappointed. I wish we took photos of the bugs but unfortunately it didn’t come to mind while we were catching them.

Absolutely horrible. Rude staff, disgusting rooms and bugs galore. Receptionist working on 29/10/24 at around 2/3am was especially rude. Never had such a bad experience at a hotel before. Came back to around 20 mosquitos in our room. Would not recommend at all.

Just spent the weekend here with my two kids and other family members were in two other rooms... I'm not really one to ever moan nor complain but rooms were not really the greatest, hospitality with a warm welcome was non-existent on arrival. Bathrooms are a tad too small and the floors were possibly cleaned with an old or dirty mop with the constant smell of a 90's run-down caravan scent blasting soon as you walked in the room, both my kids kept mentioning it too. Tv remote that has a working on and off button would have been nice too. Morning breakfast wasn't much better, having to walk across the car park room in the cold to get to the Beefeater restaurant and not even within the hotel itself was a royal ball ache especially with my two young kids only to be met with zero smiles on entering probably because a large group of us with 3 out of 4 noisy children. The chef was very friendly though, he came over to say hi and was brilliant with the kids making them laugh. Free parking and WiFi is available.

Ordered Chicken kebab, my friend didn't like it. It was Chicken Tikka not proper Chicken Kebab. Crusty garlic mushrooms. 2nd rate greasy peri fries How do you get away with serving 2nd rate food. Unreal. The 1 star is for the ice cream. Eww never again 🤢🤮 Foods a joke!

I booked this for one of my Directors and this was the feedback: "cold, scruffy, poor food, soulless and I waited 40 mins for breakfast, cold hard poached eggs. other than that, fab :). On a positive, big bed and clean enough". Improvements needed!
