Got here to find Cafe closed in June

I love it that this is here, great place to have a nice coffee and sit in peace away from cars and the hustle and bustle. They have an excellent range of cakes, including a vegan option. It must be noted that this place is CASH ONLY so bare that in mind and turn up with real money 😁 and there's a toilet which is very convenient. Highly recommended.

Sometimes grab a toasties from cafe after a nice walk with the family. Nice food prices not to bad. Staff friendly enough. Does get busy at weekend

Didn't actually eat here but they were very helpful and the food prep smelled delicious - next time we visit we'll certainly make this cafe our lunchtime stop.

Nice pleasant cafe, but a little on the pricey side for what they serve.

This place only takes cash. So if you show up for a quick coffee after a walk, you'll end up thirsty unless you got notes!

Met up with friends. Had a breakfast bap and coffee. Then enjoyed a talk from one of the rangers about the history of the lickeys. Walked around and managed to avoid most of the rain. Will go again this week for a walk and talk around the hills starting from the visitor centre.

Cash only so unfortunately couldn't use the cafe. Luckily with baby and dog in tow we had water and snacks in our bag.

Delightful place, food on offer is fairly basic, a little pricey but honest enough. Homemade sausage rolls would be so much better if made with proper sausage meat instead of bargain sausages. But it will is what it is. Although hot and busy when we visited, the girls behind the counter were still smiling and very polite. Credit to them. Quite a broad cross-section of society but everyone friendly and personable.

We were walking over the hills with a walking group, didn't use the cafe but it's always popular & serves drink, food & ice cream.

Always a great place to sit for refreshments and a toastie.. on your own or with company ..

Turned up on a hot day with no cash and the very kind lady gave us water. Thank you, I didn't buy anything but you still helped.

Great for the children and adults. Food is a little expensive. Staff seemed friendly and polite.

Lovely place , lots to do in park , walk around the woods all free , the only down size is cafe not excepting card , if your a regular visitor then you know & it's fine , but a couple didnt , it was really hot & they needed a drink , so i ended up giving them money for a drink .

Nice with plenty of table space + outdoor seating. One issue is the cafe is cash only. This is the reason for my scoring.

Really lovely place for a nice walk for a couple of hours. Lots of woodland paths and a little playground, too. Plus free parking and a small cafe.

We only stopped for ice creams but staff were friendly and polite. Only reason I've docked a star is that they are cash only so don't take cards. Had to borrow money off my son to pay.

Take no notice of past reviews because since its been taken over its the absolute dogs danglies, fresh cooked food, great staff and atmosphere, well worth a visit please believe me 👍🏼

Very muddy walk. We did the 7.5 mile walk and enjoyed the views from the toposcope. I thought I had read that there were sculptures on the walk but didn't find any, which was disappointing. Enjoyed a toasted sandwich in the cafe who will only accept cash.

It may be the only place for a coffee, but the quality was most disappointing .. so I won't be repeating. But the homemade bread pudding is lovely and the staff were friendly.

Beautiful place, great play area I would recommend for young children to take spare clothes! The cafe was very expensive, the tea and coffee was not very nice but that's our personal opinion, sandwiches were presented nice but we thought it was expensive for what it was. Staff were very friendly

This place has recently made a change. Although the prices have increased, the quality and presentation of the food is much better than it was. Personally, I think it's a change for the better, and is still quite affordable. Please note that this place takes cash only. Highly recommended.

Poor sandwich choice - cheap white bread, thickly spread with "butter". No dressing on side salad. Nothing particularly healthy. Poor quality coffee from instant drinks machine & very sweet. Cask only (their excuse is poor mobile phone signal..... there are card machines that don't rely on mobile signal so not a valid excuse).

They do not accept ANY debit cards They do not accept ANY credit cards They do not accept cheques They do not accept £50 notes Food is basic poor quality and so exspensive, you would need a credit card. Coffee is the most awful insipd back wash I have ever tasted. Bring a picnic and avoid the cafe if you can.
