Best Indian takeaway I’ve had in a while!

Reasonable price, friendly and decent food

Worst food me and my wife have ever had . The fish and chips was dripping with Fat and the scampi wasn't any better. The paninie looked like it had been put together from scraps from the Bin . Discusting food .

A visit to the stag is never a disappointment. The staff are always lovely and welcoming, never an issue with our food and drinks we always enjoy everything we have. Great value for money

No es nuestra primera visita y no será la última. El servicio es muy amable y rápido a pesar de que todo lo que teníamos estaba cocinado fresco. Un montón de mesas, pero no aplastados juntos. Si bien no es comida gourmet, y tampoco esperarías eso de un café, es muy, muy sabroso. El propietario suele estar allí y es un personaje muy agradable y hablador que siempre comprueba que estás bien. A un precio muy razonable y con un Wetherspoons a tirar piedras es más que competitivo.

Llamamos para pedir comida y dijeron que no puedo usarla, ¡pero el gerente vendrá mañana! NO QUEREMOS UNA PIZZA MAÑANA LA QUERÍAMOS YA ! ! , después de leer otras reseñas y mirar fotos de otros clientes nos ha postergado ! !

Late order and was difficult to track but my dad was happy with the food

This place has gone down hill. I wouldn't come here again after using these guys for over ten years as the food was fire but recently something has changed. Everything was awful again guys. Not sure what has happened there but this is defo a no go for me and mine. Having spent £65 aswell highly annoyed. It's that bad I need to come back and edit my comment and add to it. What they did deliver was vile. They have no care about their customers. The taste was so bad it made us heave. I have no idea what has happened to this place. They used to be fire. 10/10. Guys avoid this place

Didn't stay at the hotel, we were a visi ting team as part of a snooker tournament's. The bar staff and Steward were very friendly, helpful and happy to help. The piat match buffet was sausages, chips, curry sauce and two rounds of bread. What's not to like? Oh, by the way, we won 4:1. 🏆

I was reluctant to go but it fitted in with what else we were doing.I wasn’t happy with the menu. My daughter was ok with it. I chose lasagna, she had chicken wings and sweet potato fries. She seemed relatively happy. When mine arrived with the earring “. the plate is hot, be careful” you knew what you were in for.To my surprise, it was worse. Warm in part, chilled in another. I asked for it to be changed to be told “ he’s doing you a fresh one now”.When it arrived the topping was burnt to a crisp and the steam coming off it was non stop. The cook had obviously doubled the time in the microwave from last time.It was tasteless. I assured myself this would be my last visit ever.The one shining star in all this chaos was Chelsea, our waitress. Bright, efficient, cheery and very apologetic. Too good for this placeIn fairness I was charged for the lasagna. I wouldn’t have paid for it anyway!

Least I have ever enjoyed a Chinese. The portions are very small however I suppose that is reflected in the price as it’s cheap for a Chinese takeaway. The ‘chicken wings’ were the smallest I have ever had, they must’ve have been from freshly hatched chicks. The curry did not taste anything like a Chinese curry. Wasn’t inedible however I won’t be ordering from here again.
