Good was lovely, hot and delivered on time!

Stayed in the area for one night and this Chinese was right opposite our accommodation. After driving for 3 hrs we were hungry and tired. This is the best Chinese we’ve had in a long long time. Man at reception was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this take away

over 40 mins late so obviously the food was barely warm. very disappointed. won't be ordering from them again

Authentic and tasty Chinese food. Vegetable fried rice and salt and pepper Tofu are my favourite 👍

I was very reluctant to try this Chinese for years due to the reviews, however I plucked up the courage one evening and it was completely opposite to the reviews. The food was great, service pleasant and prices good! Changed my opinion and I would order here again…

Used to love this place. I ordered Singapore chow mein - it was nothing like what a Singapore chow mein should be. It was in a brown spicy gravy. Not a good flavour. The crispy chicken with Chinese veg had been made with the same sauce but it was so salty it was inedible and the chicken was rubbery I had to throw it away.

everything was great we just didn't get any sweet and sour sauce with our platter

chicken were over cooked, spring rolls were disgusting burnt and had a weird taste to them all these products were thrown in bin. my last order from them I was charged for prawn crackers when they should be free. I have used this place for a long time but am finding its slipping so contemplating using else where

there was no prawn crackers sent ...and the rice portion was tiny ...plus one curry had no mushrooms in !!

All good, prompt delivery and food was hot and fresh

Arrived hours late, part of order missing and the food was very greasy so all got thown out, phoned them and they are delivering the missing part but still not arrived

Food came cold wasn’t hot it was only just warm, tryed calling restaurant but no answer to complain, won’t order from there again not happy

The noodles tasted burnt and the main part of the meal was missing. I called the restaurant to be told they would get it to me ASAP. Its now been a hour and the rest of the food has gone cold apart from the egg fried rice which I've eaten with the sweet and sour sauce shame I didn't get the chicken balls to go with it. I will not be ordering from this place again

Lovely food but… £4 for a tiny pot of curry sauce is extortionate!

That was the most disgusting tub of food I have ever had to stomach so greasy even the driver commented on how bad it was even before opening. And as it was left to the wire the veg wasn’t cooked at all so hard. A personal message to the restaurant I will never order from you again worst food ever

Both of our Shanghai noodles (different noodles for each) were delicious and perfectly cooked. But we ordered prawn toast and it said six slices but really it was four slices chopped up more, I found this disappointing.

Wrong sauce came with the lemon chicken, looked right but tasted like a horrible sweet and salty gravy with no lemon in it at all. Obviously just a mistake though, since the food is generally very nice and they wouldn't have known from looking at the sauce it was the wrong one.

Good food and great service! The driver voluntarily came back with a can of pop which he realised was missing! Really impressed!

We had recently returned here following a couple of good meals. However, the meal tonight was awful. 'Kung po' chicken with no sauce or spice, sweet beef Cantonese style. No more orders from us

The food is disgusting we have had to bin it beef and mushrooms was excuse this but cooked in snot not at all nice the chow main was so spicy I couldn’t taste it very poor food and will never use this place again really disappointed now having eggs on toast and wasted £34 on stuff for the bin

Ordered same meal at Christmas and it was really good. On this occasion it was horrible, sweet tasting. Chicken meat balls, soggy batter, dried chicken. Tasteless noodles. The 3 in was rice, chips and curry sauce rammed into a foil tray, the chips were crushed and as before curry sauce disgusting. Has there been a management change? Almost £40 GBP gone in the bin.

Your delivery driver you sent to my home was rude and aggressive because I took 3 minutes to answer the door, he shouted curse words and threw my order at me. I would not eat the food as I did not trust the driver. The food look pleasant tho.

I don't think we will be ordering again, the food quality has fallen drastically, gave them 2 hours to get the food at a time slot, couldn't manage it, plenty of better Chinese takeaways around.. Not recommended,

Usually a regular from here but past few times have been a let down. The last order was just not what we are used to poor quality of food and delivery took a long time.

First time that I have been let down by the Golden Wok. Food was as good as ever. I placed the order at 19:30 for a delivery at 20:50, which gave the resturaunt almost an hour and a half notice , after calling to say my order was late,(20 minutes) I had the excuse of "we are very busy". Ok that's why i ordered for a specific time.(To give notice about my delivery) Over all the resturaunt service was not up to the usual standard and the delivery time was a joke.

Chop Suey Spring Roll (Large) is a meal in it's self, great service, delivery and food as always

Ordred a delivery time and it arrived bang on time, Nice pleasent driver, I also added a note which was read and applied to our order , The food quality is exceptionally good., just 1 mistake, not that we were worried about as they were delicious , we ordered 4 small crispy spring rolls and recieved 10 mini spring rolls , we also had some free prawn crackers thrown in, thank you. Great takeaway, outstanding service, I placed my order for a delivery time and it arrived bang on time, also left a note to change an item, it was read and there was no problem, they also added a free prawn crackers ,(thank you much appreciated.) Can't ever fault Golden Wok, best Chinese food in the area. This has fast become our favorite takeaway .

Food arrived late and it was cold, the curry was poor had a brown liquid mixed in with the curry sauce which I haven’t got a clue what it was.

I love this Chinese takeaway!! The staff are always lovely and friendly to talk to when I go to order my usual Cantonese sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice. The food was lovely!! It didn't taste like chemicals like other fast food chains. Delivery was right on time as well!!!!

Ordered from Uber Eats, food took 3 hours to arrive so I refused the order. Tried to call the restaurant about 20 times, not a single time was the call answered.

Absolutely awful - the service, personnel, food and waiting time. I placed the order at 8pm and finally got it at 10pm, not to mention that the place is maximum 5 minutes away by car. Rang them after 1h and asked what’s happening, they said the order will be here in 15 minutes. After 45 minutes it finally arrived and the food looked disgusting. So disgusting I didn’t touch it and I am not even picky when it comes to food. They literally threw all they had in the fridge in what was supposed to be a Pork Green Thai Curry. My Green Thai Curry wasn’t even green, it was red an greasy. I’ve been ordering Green Thai Curry from various restaurants and it was always GREEN! The pork meat was uncooked, the sauce was greasy and the “chef” didn’t even bother to slice the mushrooms. I literally had full size mushrooms in my dish. Note to self: check the reviews before ordering. All the food poisoning stories, the bad service and poor appearance of the place, I’m afraid it’s all true. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place, you’ll both save your health and money.

OK yes it was late BUT it was well worth it. The Spring Roll was huge and delicious. The Chicken and Sweetcorn Soup was sweet not salty like a lot of take aways. Evan the Chicken Chow Mein was full of flavour and lots of Chicken. Definitely will order again.

I was sent chips instead of egg fried rice

If zero was a opition that would be my answer placed a order at 6:45 on the 21st Nov and now writing this at 21:20 and still no food at first the order was delayed by 1hr and than phoned twice to be told its out for delivery how long does it take to deliver food

After ordering at 18:45 my order arrived at 21:32 and had called the restaurant twice. Was delayed first time and second time took over an hour still to arrive. Not happy with the service from Just eat delivery. I would not blame the restaurant.

Ordered a takeaway which was accepted. Said it would take an hour-an hour 20. Ok fine. After an hour 20 they cancel our order

Given a time for delivery, no updates only to phone when 30 mins late to be told there’s only one driver and just to wait. Rude service, no updates and terrible food, never eat here again.

Great - chicken is great as always, as are the king prawns. Not the best egg fried rice, but anywhere with better fried rice has lower quality chicken, so I know which I prefer!

Delivered in good time and this time the food was great! Especially liked the crispy chicken in seasonal vegetables and the crispy beef!

I’m absolutely disgusted. Delivered to the wrong house and still haven’t got it.
