Would not touch this place again wrong order given soggy prawn toast and uncooked chips don't waste your tome for money using this place

Authentic and tasty Chinese food. Vegetable fried rice and salt and pepper Tofu are my favourite 👍

Have ordered from here many times always polite and friendly love the fact they deliver in any weather. Food is reasonable for what you pay

I was very reluctant to try this Chinese for years due to the reviews, however I plucked up the courage one evening and it was completely opposite to the reviews. The food was great, service pleasant and prices good! Changed my opinion and I would order here again…

Both of our Shanghai noodles (different noodles for each) were delicious and perfectly cooked. But we ordered prawn toast and it said six slices but really it was four slices chopped up more, I found this disappointing.

Ordered from Uber Eats, food took 3 hours to arrive so I refused the order. Tried to call the restaurant about 20 times, not a single time was the call answered.

Absolutely awful - the service, personnel, food and waiting time. I placed the order at 8pm and finally got it at 10pm, not to mention that the place is maximum 5 minutes away by car. Rang them after 1h and asked what’s happening, they said the order will be here in 15 minutes. After 45 minutes it finally arrived and the food looked disgusting. So disgusting I didn’t touch it and I am not even picky when it comes to food. They literally threw all they had in the fridge in what was supposed to be a Pork Green Thai Curry. My Green Thai Curry wasn’t even green, it was red an greasy. I’ve been ordering Green Thai Curry from various restaurants and it was always GREEN! The pork meat was uncooked, the sauce was greasy and the “chef” didn’t even bother to slice the mushrooms. I literally had full size mushrooms in my dish. Note to self: check the reviews before ordering. All the food poisoning stories, the bad service and poor appearance of the place, I’m afraid it’s all true. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place, you’ll both save your health and money.

Ordered a takeaway which was accepted. Said it would take an hour-an hour 20. Ok fine. After an hour 20 they cancel our order

If zero was a opition that would be my answer placed a order at 6:45 on the 21st Nov and now writing this at 21:20 and still no food at first the order was delayed by 1hr and than phoned twice to be told its out for delivery how long does it take to deliver food

I use Golden Wok regularly and have never had a bad meal

Didn’t even show up spent over 50 pound and didn’t want to enter clear air zone so avoided delivery but accepted delivery online knowing the postcode. Avoid at all costs if you live central

Absolutely gutted with the treatment I received from this restaurant tonight I couldn’t understand the lady’s accent on the phone and she gave me the wrong order, when I tried to give it back she told me sorry they cannot give me the correct order as it’s a waste of food even if I cannot eat what she’s given me! I’m upset as I am a regular customer.

Ordered off deliveroo , waited almost a hour for our food. Driver called up and said he refuses to deliver to us as we are in the clean air zone. The restaurant didn't even bother canceling on there end! scammers! DONT ORDER FROM HERE!

Awful customer service. Made an ordered through Deliveroo, which was accepted. 30 minutes later received a call from the restaurant refusing to deliver as I was within the clean air zone. They hung the phone up, wouldn’t cancel the order on their end and left me out of pocket and hungry. Don’t bother ordering from here, they are awful.

Ordered from website. The order was accepted, but when we went to collect it looked like place has shut down. Haven't been able to contact company for refund yet. Would not recommend. Update: 9th October. Transaction has been taken by Golden Wok despite not receiving goods.

Omg ,the best Chinese in b29. Really nice food especially the Jill Yung chip's (chilli chip's) delicious! A little pricey maybe but 5 Star from me.

Shocking service, do not order from here. Our order arrived an hour and a half after it said to expect it on Uber Eats. Tried for a long time to phone them but could not get through. When it finally arrived the delivery driver told us he’d return with a refund or amend it on the app but he didn’t return and marked the delivery as completed on the app. Absolutely awful service.

Food took an hour and a half longer than it should have done to be delivered. We were told that the delivery guy would come back with a refund or adjust it on Uber eats but they did not. Tried to call them but could not get through. Shocking service. Do not order from here.

I ordered on uber eats. Said it would arrive 45 minutes later, 45 minutes later the arrival time got pushed back by an hour, an hour passed. Heard nothing. Tried calling many times, no one answers. My food never arrived, awful service - utterly useless really.

Absolute waste of time. They will accept an order then fail to deliver. No cost incurred but a lot of wasted time and inconvenience. Do yourself a favour and book from another supplier

Food arrived 2 hours after order was placed. There were items missing, food was cold, tasteless and inedible. Tried to contact the restaurant but phone was left to ring and never answered.

Awful restaurant, my food is over an hour late and they leave the line busy so they don't have to answer the phone! I can't cancel my order because of it, very unprofessional.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The food didn't show up until over 2 hours later. During these 2 hours I called 23 times and not once did they pick up. Terrible service. Once it had arrived, the food was cold. I tried to be positive and thought I could just heat the food up and it would be okay but the chow mein was so oily that I couldn't take more than 2 bites. The calamari portion was ridiculously small, only had a few pieces. Will not be recommending to anyone.

Took two hours to arrive (22:00-12:00) tried to call the restaurant at 23:30 to find the restaurant closes at 23:30. No answer after ringing for 10 minutes. At midnight, the food finally arrives.

Had good reviews on Uber Eats. Turns out this place is awful. Food was disgusting. Missing items. Rang to complain and he said the driver was on his way. Never arrived with the missing items. Rude manager who has been stringing us along for the past 3 hours. Would not recommend and will be taking this forward

If i could give less stars i would! Both myself and my husband got terrible food poisoning from this restaurant. My son luckily didnt as he wouldn't eat the food as he said it was disgusting. The curry my husband had was vile, didnt even taste like Chinese curry and was grainy. It was overpriced and we have been ill for 2 days now. Rang to complain but phone number on website is wrong.

I have given 1 star because my piece of chicken was rare and I wanted to call the restaurant but the phone number what was shown was invalid. We tried to find other phone number but you have not got.

Place an order using their app I've ordered for years from them suffered their mistakes on orders in the past but just let it go plus i couldnt be bothered to go back... however thought delivery is necessary this time seems were on lockdown....waited over an hour and a half for our food so I tried calling to see if my order was coming as takeaway was closing in 10minutes constantly engaged or just rang out then the driver turns up apologising stating other driver decided to go home but that does not explain why my food was cold fuming I spent what I did to eat stone cold food some which couldn't be reheated chips were cold overcooked if not rock hard the rest were limp & soggy from sweating in the bag for so long was just vile i only live 5 minutes from the takeaway I won't be bothering again they lost a loyal customer for a lousy service wish I could rate -20 🌟worst takeaway!!! Dont take orders if you cant deal with delivering the food!!! Worst thing is they have the cheek to charge for delivery for cold food 😡

Terrible service. Food was 3 hours late and cold. Manager wansnt helpfull and VERY rude. Refused to believe it was cold and hung up the phone. Food was terrible also, meat was very fatty. Gave us bad stomachs

Food was 2 hours late and when it eventually turned up it was cold. A call to the restaurant wasn't the best experience as the man on the other side of the phone was rude, would not listen to us nor let us speak, and then proceeded to walk away and leave the phone on the counter. We had to go down to the take-away with the cold food when they tried to tell us again that the food was not cold, even though it clearly was. They made us the order again but to say the food was disgusting was an understatement. We barely ate any of it and it's safe to say that we will NOT be eating here again and would recommend that people steer clear

Appalling customer service. Food was a disgrace...manager is rude and completely unhelpful and aggressive. Not somewhere I usually go and will definitely never step foot in there again. One word of advice...when reviews are bad...take note and go somewhere else!

The worst possible service ever, after being told not to put pork in my chow mien. they deliberately did so. This was very disappointing and annoying as I do not eat pork for religious reasons.

Terrible company. Took nearly 2 hours for the food to be delivered and when it got here the crispy beef was half empty! (see photo) Food was also cold and tasteless. Phoned to complain and was greeted with a terribly rude attitude, apparently half a portion and poor food is my fault? Check out just eat reviews - it's not just me that has experienced this. Avoid at all costs!

Over an hour for the food to arrive and the order was wrong.....I wrang and the woman that took the order answered and read back what she had wrote not what I had ordered....Food mediocre and cold when we recieved it...Our first and last time using this "restaurant".....Vote with my money.....They will not get any more of it.

Sadly really not great food. The meat used was fatty and stringy. The special fried rice that came was like a soup/curry hybrid which didn’t taste good, and it was delivered slightly warm.

Please do not eat food from this establishment! My daughter ordered a takeaway through Just Eat. When it arrived the container had opened & leaked into the carrier bag. My daughter ate the food & the next day had bad stomach cramps & an upset stomach. As it was ordered through Just Eat I had to report it through them. When they came back to me, apparently the Golden Wok questioned my honesty with no apology & because they didn't believe me, they offered a partial refund. I am taking this further as I did not lie. They need to follow food hygiene pricedures. The food most probably got contaminated as the container was open. Bad customer service!!!

Not for me! Had chicken chow mien : not much meat, or flavour and, very small portion!! Had extra mushroom and bean sprouts £3.70 very small (the tub was half empty!!! and, NO! bean sprouts it was onions and some hard crunchy kinda veg? Very expensive Also misleading. We also had ribs and a curry it was: ok again small portion compared to other take outs The food was not worth £40

Would give 0 if was a opiniton I ordered over 3 hours ago now and still haven't received any food or look like receiving any but yet have been charged phoned 17 times to no answer I understand the weather isn't the best but I haven't received a phone call saying that they are unable to deliver and will give me my money back instead I been sitting here for 3 hours and 16.50 out of pocket for nothing and the add insult i been charged for delivery

Never ordering from here again, pulled a long thick dark hair out my mouth while eating your sweet n sour with egg fried rice. Then found more hair inside the rice but small ginger hairs! I feel sick, absolutely disgusting! And the chicken was hard and chewy!!!

I ordered of Just Eat, the service was terrible and the menue is very confusing. I had to deliver the food back for an explanation, following a dispute over the telephone ?!?!. Needless to say, it wasn't a nice experience dealing with this take away joint. The food is not all that, I would rather go elsewhere. 😔😔

Second time eating from here, the food is lovely (especially the chicken!) and always comes quickly. Our delivery was estimated to be an hour and arrived in 15 mins to Harborne. Thanks :)

Waited nearly an hour on a monday night for a tray of luke warm veg with hair in it (supposed to be meat) when i only live 5 minutes away. bad attitude from staff when complaining. only order from them because the one up the road in harborne was closed, a mistake i wont make again.

Really flexible if you want to change the set menu and the food is great and good value. Would definitely recommend
