We met with friends here for a mid-week catch up and had a lovely evening! All of our main courses were plentiful and delicious, (fish and chips, Toad in the Hole and chicken burger) and the desserts were just beautiful!
The restaurant was quite busy for a weekday and the staff were friendly and most polite, especially Olly, our waiter! The 'Ladies' facilities were clean with extra touches like nice hand soap and hand-cream.
Thank you for a really good experience! See you soon!

We visited the Dickin Arms on Saturday 29th March whilst holidaying nearby. We had visited last year whilst on holiday and enjoyed our meal so much we wanted to return! We were delighted that they could accommodate us, having not booked, despite them being extremely busy. The staff and service were impeccable! The food was absolutely delicious, we had the 8oz fillet steak and the tandoori half chicken. We also had the white chocolate and ginger cheesecake which was incredible! Thank you to all of the staff that made our evening so lovely - we were away celebrating our ten year wedding anniversary and this was a highlight of our weekend!
Called in for a full English breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Food was fresh, perfectly prepared, nicely presented and served hot. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Perfect service. This is an understated gem of a cafe.
Found this restaurant purely by chance whilst strolling around the area after checking into our hotel
Had a wonderful meal. I had three meats (two types of pork and chicken with egg fried rice and salad. My wife had a special noodle dish with crab meat. Everything was delicious. We both had the special cocktail.
Overall price was less than £60.
Food was very good...however the service let it down...we had to ask for our cutlery bucket with napkins...another table had their bucket before their meal came...no service with a smile..quite a chore to serve us
