Sound local boozer. Snacks are good, beer is good. Back bar, darts room and beer garden are all good places to enjoy a pint.

Called in yesterday while in the area, as aware it is a Heritage Pub, and wasn't disappointed by a fantastic interior that gives an excellent atmosphere and friendly barmaid behind the bar. Fully recommend a pint here.

A classic Black Country pub. Historic rear room Beer is amazingly good.

Lovely old pub it has a unique bar in the back room It only serves bar snacks not full meals and I think that’s the way it should stop So if you want a friendly old pub with lots of history pop in for a drink

Been using the brit on and off for years depending where I live. It's my go to pub in upper gornal. Staff are always friendly and the current owner is a good guy. I'm not a ale or bitter drinker (blasphemy I know) when compared to other bathams I've been to the Brit keeps their lagers and ciders absolutely spot on so I'm guessing their bathams products are also top notch. Good job guys, you're smashing it

Britannia Inn , is a typical old fashioned public house. The beer 🍻 is Bathams brewery in Brierly hill. A pleasant taste but not for everyone !! The rear lounge is worth seeing, the beer pumps are original pull pumps !! Along with the original counter in place !! It does get busy quite frequently !! It's on the main road between Dudley and Sedgley. Well worth checking this Public house out. D.P.Johnson . Search Google for photos.

What a great little place. If you want a great pint and place to have a chat with your friends, no loud music, tv's or gaming machines in an honest pub this is a recommended place.

Awesome boozer, recently been done up, fresh lick of paint on the outside, place is looking great, new people running the bar who are really nice and run a great pub - the bathams bitter is back to it's best as well. 5 stars

Review used to say: Best local pub in the area. Staff are very friendly and the drinks are extremely good value. Love coming here, especially around Christmas when the fires are on and it's so cosy. Love the Brit.** **Or at least, I used to. Until they changed hands a little while back and now "don't allow" children under 14.. or at least, they said to us they don't. My partner and his friend went back later and saw that there was a 10 (or so) month old child in the pub, VERY much after 8/8:30pm which is when most pubs have kicked the under 18s out, shocking really. Beer garden out back in a small village and won't even have kids in the day? Will be great when the kids are off school in the summer, LOTS of missed business spent at actually accommodating places. Such a shame new management haven't a clue what they're doing. BRING SI BACK!

My second sticker for the ale trail. Drove past many times over the years. Was pleasantly surprised when I finally popped in and had a pint of mild. Will have to stop in again, only minor niggle was the lack of car park but as we know; Jesus forgives, so I used the church opposite.

Hi everybody. Hope you are all ticketyboo. This pub used to be a favourite of mine. I went in last Thursday and the ale was dire. The friend who i was with turned to the cider. Friendly staff. Friendly customers. Dogs allowed.Hope it picks up soon......🙇‍♂️

Bostin' Bathams bitter with friendly staff and customers went down a treat for us after a long overdue visit here from Wolverhampton. Now the Great Western isn't serving Bathams, we think this is the nearest oasis.

No warning of last orders closed early as landlord decided no more drinks at 9 instead of 9 20. Managed to have 1 pint before being told pint ordered was no longer available.

Superb Gornal institution for those that remember Old Sal's. Still serving a great pint of Batham's. Proper old school pub.

Currently closed. I attended for emergency plumbing issues.

Generally, a pretty decent public house but disabled access does need addressing the rear door to the beer garden is in a shocking state of disrepair and needs attention.
