Fantastic range of quality low price food.Great veggie options at prices below £12.00.My wife had a very generously sizes veggie tar, obviously cooked in house and I had the very tasty plant based burger. The service was very good,we had to wait a little for my garlic mushroom starter but it was really nice.Overall what a gem of a find.We love visiting Shropshire because you can find great pubs and restaurants like this.
Once again a Beautiful one night's stay at the Boars Head. Yet again made perfect not only by the great place and great food, but the Staff, not a few, but every single one of them are just so brilliant, so friendly, helpful and genuinely lovely people. Combine all this and I don't know how it could be made any better. It's just perfect. 😃
Come here quite a bit when I’m working down here and the food and service is excellent. Pad Thai is exceptional and easy to eat here if you’re a solo eater.

SCAM! Paid a deposit back in July only to find out they are shut with 2 weeks left before what was supposed to be our party. They aren't returning any emails, calls or insta messages, but they're posting on their instagram story to promote their night club??! Absolute nightmare! Lost our deposit and had to cancel our party because no where is available with such short notice!!
UPDATE: messaged the nightclub to get my deposit back, which they thankfully passdd the message onto the resturant and have now returned my deposit.

Visited for the first time.
I have been put off by the exterior for years, but a friend suggested going, saying that the food had always been great… and as soon I’d walked through the door, I was so pleased I had.
It’s lovely inside. Service with a smile. Can’t do enough for you. Go in… it’s worth it.
Everything is superb. Service, food, decor, everything.
Go… you’ll love it.
Highly recommended. I won’t be going anywhere else now… and given my last experience in the Pasha… this the best curry house (kind of) in St Johns.
Just returned from Easter Sunday lunch and so impressed i felt i had to leave them a review.
Food was great, service was great and the main man (i assume the gaffer) was super friendly and welcoming.
It's also a community owned pub, so great to see the model working so well.
Absolutely fantastic, so if you are passing don't miss it.
We've visited The Bell Inn in Cound several times with our children and always have a great time. There's a spacious garden where the kids can kick a ball around, and in the summer months, there's even a free bouncy castle which is a big hit. The pub itself is a traditional English pub serving classic, no-frills pub grub—nothing fancy, but solid and comforting.
They often have live sport showing in the bar area, which adds to the lively, relaxed atmosphere. Most of the guests seem to be friendly locals and regulars, giving the place a welcoming community feel. It's a great spot for a casual meal or drink with the family, with affordable prices and a laid-back vibe.
Just down from the Abbey the cafe is a great place to recharge the batteries or just chill for a while. Excellent coffee plus a good range of cakes and other nibbles. Throw in good service and some outside space and you are onto a winner.
If you’re looking for a place to experience all the excitement of a school canteen at closing time, The Navigation Inn might just be your dream destination.
We arrived on a Saturday night expecting some life, some atmosphere — heck, even some background noise — but were greeted by an eerie silence and the sort of emptiness that makes you wonder if you’ve walked onto the set of a horror movie.
Things didn’t improve when the drinks arrived: the wine was warmer than the welcome, and the coke was so flat it could have been served in a puddle. As for the food — wow. The steak was a mysterious shade of grey that defied all known laws of meat preparation, and the chips somehow managed to taste like they’d taken a long bath in old fish oil. If this was a flavor experiment, it was an ambitious one — and a total failure.
Overall, The Navigation Inn is perfect if you like your evenings to feel slightly apocalyptic, your meals unidentifiable, and your drinks deeply depressing. Otherwise, maybe navigate yourself somewhere else.
