Lovely restaurant very nice interior book a table by the window it's private food is gorgous been twice now and don't live locally welm worth a visit 😀

Wanted to try a different curry house for a change. Decided upon here and we were delighted. It was a Thursday night so it wasnt too busy. The owner was so attentive, very friendly and warm. Our curries were delicious, spot on! Chicken was beautifully tender and plentiful. Although not the closest curry house to us - we will be coming back regularly. It was daughters 12th birthday and the owner very kindly came out with a birthday ice-cream in half a coconut as a little treat. The inside is tastefully decorated and the lighting is perfect. Slightly dimmed.

Best take out ever. Arrived promptly. Food was delicious. We decided to go off piste with our choices and were wowed by the flavours, textures and aromas that greeted us. Superb desi fish alloo. Authentic Indian cuisine from a great chef. Price very competitive for generous portions. Will not go anywhere else. Highly recommend.

A wonderful welcome despite a busy Saturday evening service. Went out of the way to accommodate us and food was all beautiful. Will be our first visit of many.

First time having a takeaway from Balti Palace. Ordered 2 curries, 1 rice, 1 chips and 1 naan bread. No salad, onion or poppadom which we've always have from other Indian takeaways. Spent over £30, will stick to Flames in Penkridge in future. Both curries were bland, keema rice was sweet.

A great night out with friends with lovely food and very friendly staff. Would really recommend Balti Palace for an enjoyable evening.

We order regularly from here (takeaway), this evening the popadoms arrived stale, and the lamb in the tikka masala was extremely gristly. I called them to inform them and they failed to offer a partial refund or discount on the next order, in fact they didn’t seem bothered in the slightest. In future I’ll take my custom elsewhere.

We had our first visit eating in here for our Daughter's Birthday and it was brilliant. We always order from here to eat at home but booked a table for our family. The service was fantastic, the portions were just right and the food was lovely. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Only leaving an average review because when did Naan breeds become flatbreads. Went last night and Naan’s were SO small….dear owners, its only flour & water but we’ll be going elsewhere to find proper size breads ☹️

Had a takeaway was delivered really quickly and was piping hot and fresh. Taste and flavour was outstanding, would highly recommend

This was our first visit on Saturday 6th Jan, and what a delightful surprise. We have one of the best and by far the the tastiest curry's for a long time, with very friendly service too.. Defiantly worth a visit!!!

Absolutely amazing food, We came with some wonderful friends, I had my usual, my fiends had different food, and everyone loved the food, the staff as usual were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for our food request. I still think this is one of the best curry restaurants around. You would have to go a long way to better the food and service here.

Another awesome meal tonight, thank you for squeezing us in, knowing how busy you were. I had my usual paneer shahlick my husband had murgh masala, garlic sag fried rice and saag paneer. It’s was totally delicious and banging . Loved it loads. Thank you Balti palace xxx

Ordered a Paneer tikka masala due to being vegetarian. Took a bite into my food to find it was chicken. I had a missed call from the restaurant, once I called them back they explained I had the wrong order. I was asked if I eat meat which I replied no, I was asked if it was ok or would I liked it changed I explained again that I do not eat meat and would like a replacement which was agreed, there was a misunderstanding as I believe the gentleman on the phone thought I had said that I hadn’t eaten the meat, when my partner called to complain he was told ‘everyone makes mistakes’ The lid to the meal wasn’t labelled clearly either. The original order arrived within 10 minutes. Very quick to rectify but unfortunately I have lost trust and so I will not be returning.

This is a small and unlicensed restaurant, so brink your own alcohol, soft drinks etc. The food is excellent, we had starters and mains and would give 5 stars for both. Toilets clean and modern. Staff are polite, professional and attentive. We really could not ask for more.

Together with our family, my wife and I visited the Balti Palace for a belated celebration of my 80th birthday and our 57th wedding anniversary! As usual, we were made most welcome by Juned and his very friendly staff and we were served swiftly and with a delicious variety of beautifully cooked dishes. Juned then surprised me by producing a special cake to honour my birthday! This restaurant never fails to please. We always give a big thank you to Hussain who works so hard in the kitchen and we always look forward to our next visit.

I've been away too long. Not in prison or anything like that, bent over a chair being rammed by Mr Big. Just moved away. Honest.

We have been using Balti Palace for over 6 years and the food choices are authentic and very tasty. The staff are friendly and look after us well.

What can I say we were staying at a hotel close by popped in tonight 25-06-2023 to order a takeaway was told as it was not quiet 5-30 pm would be 20 mins for ovens to be ready so they offered to deliver to the hotel . Food was amazing service was amazing certainly using again thank you guys

Great find. We were on a narrow boat holiday and moored in Penkridge late on a Sunday afternoon in early June. Balti Palace was open for an evening meal, welcoming two Brits and two German friends. We all chose something different and enjoyed all our choices. The welcome and atmosphere were great and the food was tasty and plentiful. If we lived nearby this would be a regular date night location for us. Don't expect alcohol on the drinks menu but do expect good food and warm hospitality. We will return! Thanks guys.

Oh my we love an Indian we’ve just moved to Brewood and we was told about this one ! Food is outstanding spotless clean lovely ambience reasonable priced we would highly recommend 10/10 were back on Sunday loved it ! Yummy 😋

We often visit the Balti Palace in Wolverhampton. This was our first curry at Penkridge. Staff very friendly, we were thanked for visiting several times. It was quite busy, but service was quick and food very hot and nicely presented. We found the curries less salty than those elsewhere, which was good, but not as spicy as we like. (I always have Dhansak, but like a bit of a kick, so may ask for more spice next time). Husband always has Balti and he also said not spicy enough. Very clean restaurant and toilets. Will definitely try again but ask for more spice!

Great Foods with Excellent Customer Service.

I used to like this restaurant but the food is nowhere near as good as it used to be over the last couple of years. No meat in the curries just sauce. I won’t be going back there are much better places to go!

I fell like my experience with balti palace has declined over the past few years. Used to be regular here and always 5 star but after our most recent takeaways from here averaging 4 pieces meat per meal is not acceptable. This is ever since I saw a change in staff, not sure what happened. I'd rather you up the price, and be honest. Hope you go back to the old ways, I'd be back everyweek

Very disappointed with the meals that were delivered tonight. They’re usually really good, but, tonight, the lamb was cut too big and very chewy. Not sure whether we will order from here again.

We went for a meal and the waiter was not helpful towards our order as we wanted to order in small groups instead of one order. Also food portions very small.

We've been visiting this restaurant since it began & always had excellent meals & great service. However we visited tonight early on & didn't feel very welcome.new staff?? Meal mediocre & whole experience disappointing. Will be a while before we go back

I have been coming here for many years, but the service tonight was not good. Very slow, and the meal was served in bits, I had eaten half of my meal before the chapati arrived! Then bought coffee, without milk, quite a wait until that came too. Disappointed.

Absolutely amazing service and food. The food is impeccable. The staff are nothing but attentive. My daughter wasn't keen on the coriander in her curry. The owner saw this before I did and offered to take it away and make one without. Honestly if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Brilliant with children cannot fault!

Really nice food, amazing potion sizes and good value for money. Customer service is excellent, item got missed off collection probably due to a bad line and they had it out and delivered within 15 mins of calling up. Can't fault that whatsoever. Definitely reccomend

Quality food with best service i've ever seen in my life.

The portions were quite small and the food was very greasy, salad onions were not chopped finely which was a disappointment as normally quite nice from here in the past when dining in. We dont have a treat very often so I think £50 spent somewhere else would have been better x

Food was excellent as usual, but the service awful. After ordering at 6.15pm and being told 7.00pm pick up get there at 6.55pm to then be forgotten till I said something and then getting out at 7.30pm got home and food had to be warmed up. Overall very disappointed

Rubbish service. They shouldn't be taking orders they can't fulfil. People won't go back when the restaurant does open again. Oh and staff aren't wearing masks and social distance non existent.

Food was lovely but ordered a chicken pakora starter and there wasn't much chicken pieces in there especially for the £3.50 starter you would expect more than 3 Tiny pieces of chicken

Ordered food at 7:15 to be delivered for 8:35. At 8:50, still no delivery. Called the resteraunt to be told that it had been delivered to the neighbour.... (we checked and it had not). Absolutely awful service. No apology or explanation. They just didnt seem bothered. Cant even deliver a meal. We have eaten from them many times but will not order from them again.

19/8 for eating in. The food is cooked left to go cold and dry out then reheated at table. NOT GOOD cant be good to be doing this with shellfish???? Nice food however too expensive now. A takeaway for 2. Main rice and naan each approx £25 - JUST TOO MUCH MONEY FOR TAKEAWAY- SHAME. KAPTIN KORMA FROM NOW ON.

Ordered food at 1830 with a 2005 delivery time. Food was delivered at 2129. Wouldn't have minded as much but Balti Palace marked our meal delivered at 2015 and had their phone off the hook do we didn't know if there was a problem with the order, food, delivery, location, technology. Just left in the dark wondering if we should make other arrangements for over an hour. I'm guessing marking our food delivered on time is some way to game the Just Eat system. Not communicating massive delay to customer and lied about delivery;would not recommend. Next time just be honest. If I can't trust you to be honest about delivery, how can I trust you to be honest about your cooking.

We ordered a takeaway for my birthday on March 24th, the poppadums were stale, the meat in both of our curries was hard and not pleasant, the chips had been reheated. I give one star for it being delivered. Will never order again from balti palace, disgusting

Spent Xmas day there for Lunch, both the traditional and the Indian buffet were really well done and the staff couldn't have done more to make the day a pleasurable experience

Food wasnt great, my food contained uncooked peas, the staff then informed me having uncooked peas in my keema lamb was normal...they did provide me the same dish again, however, still with frozen peas. My meal was spoilt

Always a delicious curry here, you can't go wrong with almost anything. Great prawn and fish dishes, lamb always good. They're always generous with papadoms when in a group and no shortage of sauces, and the service is always friendly and consistent when busy. Obviously sometimes when it is busy you may wait a little longer than usual but it's always worth the wait. Great selection of naan / roti / rice and so many different combinations of dishes to try. Price is very reasonable for the flavours you can experience.

Tasty Indian food and well recommended although sometimes the food is not always the same taste for some reason. Must have different chefs for different nights. Still a very good eat though.

Disappointed.....had not been for a while and had a poor meal...don't know whether they have a different chef but the quality of the chicken was poor, meal came too quick and we left half of our meal. Will not be in a hurry to go back.

Always great food, friendly efficient staff, take your own booze. Not the cheapest, but one of the best. Good local Indian food. Takeaways are good too.
