Refused to accept my order because of the street I live on, so unfair

Ordered a madras and it was very nice, Really nice food, very hot, quick collection. Chips were fresh.

Love this place. Both the food and the service is excellent. We would highly recommend.

When the staff leave alone you eat it foods ok. One member of staff constantly walking up and down watching you trying to take what your eating before you finsh it he said you main is ready bear in mind just got popadoms and stuff i said when we have had this i will have our mains thank you bear in mind eaten were twice exactly the same they just want you out the door.

As usual excellent meal tonight myself and my partner were not disappointed. From popadoms with onion salad and yoghurt to our main meals of Sylhet balti, Sara special, pilau rice and a garlic Nan food was lovely, service spot on and a quick and friendly service 👍 we will be back and sooner rather than later.

Brilliant atmosphere and food constantly

Super food, I love an Achari and this one was mega. Proper cheese nan bread too, nice & gooey! Restaurant is cosy and clean. Car parking is a little tight, a very small car park that serves other stores and restaurants on the same street.

Great little place the food is always delicious and big portions. Service was excellent. Take your own alcohol if you plan on drinking

This is my go to for Indian food , it's small but that doesn't take anything away from the quality , which Is excellent 👌 highly recommend this super friendly place

After complaining on the phone following previous orders that their King Prawn curry has just tiny prawns in, they dismissed it and said "it would be right on this order".... Tiny prawns yet again, and although the taste of the curry was fine, the dish as a whole was literally like a tub of gruel! Dry chips to complete or order, and to follow that, we'll never use Dilshad again.

Our very favourite place. Tucked away on the outskirts of a little village. Very authentic food, so fresh and cooked to perfection.. Always a very warm welcome with free poppadoms and take your own beer. Love this restaurant so very much.

We go to this restaurant fairly often with a group of friends, have always had good meals. As we wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary we went on our own and had one of the nicest Indian meals ever. The service was very good, the food excellent. Thanks to all the staff, who made our evening memorable. If you are looking for an above average Indian Restaurant then this is the place to go. Don't forget to take your own wine, as they are not licenced.

It’s fantastic to find a traditional Indian restaurant. (If i see a table cloth I’m usually sold lol ) This lovely little gem didn’t disappoint. They happily welcomed us without booking. Good job there’s an off-licence next door as they have a BYOB policy. Our food was delicious! Cannot fault them. Lovely and fresh, probably the tastiest garlic naan bread we’ve had in a long time. We were staying at the Premier Inn Wolverhampton North and fancied an Indian, the restaurant doesn’t have a drinks licence so remember to take your own. We had a very good meal and would certainly visit again if we are back in the area

Coming from an Asian background myself I know a good curry! Was recommended by a friend about dilraj so decided to go for a meal. The food was fantastic and very tasty, outstanding service and reasonably priced. Wish I could leave more than 5✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️.

Brilliant restaurant, we have been going there over 30 years.

I visited on Wednesday 17th November with three friends. I had never been before. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a comfortable table. Poppadums arrived almost immediately. The menu was full and varied. We all ordered our favorites meals and were all very pleased with the quality and service. We will most certainly visit again. Delicious food and a friendly welcome.

If in the wolverhampton area I'd strongly recommend you try this place! The food is excellent, the price is excellent and the service is also excellent! Its a 5 star rating from me 👍

Would of given a 0 but couldn't DO not go here I couldn't belive my eyes yesterday we always ordered from here in the past and I ordered a curry and honeysly it came with 2 tiny pieces of lamb and 2 prawns and that's it!!! And this is a large curry the rest was just sauce I paid 15 pound and when I rang he didn't even deny it he said thats how much meat you get it was shocking and horrible attitude it was meant to be for 2 people there was nothing for either of us it was just sauce should be ashamed

Ordered tonight after a long time away from take away food. We chose Dilraj Balti, and we weren't dissapointed. The food was superb. 👍

food from here is lovely. might have had a blip in the past but they are back on top. I've been to most restaurants and takeaways in Wolverhampton including the ones that use old awards and a member of an ex boy band as a reason to go there. this takeaway is one of the best curries in wolves. staff are friendly. service is quick and with what the world has gone thru, a little increase in price can be accepted when the taste and the quality is much better than the competition. ordered some food from here today and let me tell ya all prices have gone up to cover the losses and the food felt abit yesterday if ya no what i mean now i can not give this place a bad word but come on people we should not pay for this virus through all food shops and i mean all food shops it should not be the cost of the people as they have lost jobs and income to keep the shops going plz just be normal and no stinging rate today 6/10

We have been regular visitors to this restaurant for many years and have always eat in, however due to present crisis we have taken to having a take away meal delivered. We know that the restaurant is very popular for takeaways and it can take a while to get through on the phone, but when answered, the manager as usual was very friendly and took our order which came within around 45 minutes. The delivery guy, again very friendly as normal greeted us with a smile. This is the 3rd takeaway we have had and not been disappointed, for starters Nargis kebab (the one with the egg) and chicken chat, with poppadoms salad and yoghurt dip. For mains we had salmon tikka, vegetable curry madras with a mushroom pilau rice, which were all delicious. The portions were very generous and an excellent taste. Can’t fault the meal and although the service is not the same as eating in we could recommend the food. We look forward to being able to return to eat in after the current crisis is over.

Visited here as just fancied a curry staff were friendly, food was lovely place didn’t look like a restaurant from outside hence why I haven’t visited before but will be coming again now that I know well done lads keep it up

Visited here late on a Friday evening after returning to Wednesfield after a concert. Despite the time (and I guess the staff looking forward to closing), we had an excellent meal which was served in timely fashion. The curries here are really nice and I would put this restaurant towards the top of the list in an area with a lot of choice. Very good value so would highly recommend.

Food was ok but too much sauce and not enough meat only small portions of rice and chips but was okish pathia was to creamy.

I have always loved it here, I've moved home a few times however I still eat here. Take away or going into the restaurant it's always a lovely experience. The staff are always so friendly and the food never disappoints.

Went out for a meal as a treat, and my friend suggested this place. I'd never been before, but wow, he was right when he said it was amazing. The food was absolutely beautiful and the prices aren't too bad either. Can take your own alcohol too. The service was really good as the staff were really friendly. Will definitely go again.

We ordered a takeaway from here for the first time this weekend, we had no expectations but we're pleasent surprised by the quality of food, customer service, delivery and price. The curries were tasty, warm and the portions were plentiful. The customer service we received over the phone was brilliant and the food was delivered a lot faster than the 45mins - 1hr we were told. The only issue we had was that the restaurant was stated 'closed' on the Hungry Horse website, however when I called them they were open - this could confuse people looking to order which would be a shame as it was well worth it! We will definitely be ordering from here again, loved it!

From the spicy raita sauce with the poppadoms to the lemon chilli rice with my Zinga Cinnamon Prawn main the food was fabulous. Interesting twists on "normal" menu items. Great restaurant with wonderful food.

We have eaten Indian food in places during our travels (including Michelin starred ) and we are yet to find better tasting food. Modu minty lamb and jaipuri our favs. Small place so book to avoid disappointment. Recent refurb and friendly staff .

After trying other restaurants we always return to The Dilraj. The food is always to a high standard and the staff are just wonderful. We also order take out from here once a week.

Dilraj es local a nosotros a poca distancia a pie, lo cual es una buena cosa ya que no hay mucho sitio para aparcar y el aparcamiento que hay es compartido entre Dilraj, comida para llevar chino , Chop tienda y quiosco. Así que merece la pena teniendo en cuenta si vas con alguien con movilidad limitada,

Just had a curry from this eatery and wish I hadn't had bothered. There was the minimum amount of chicken the taste was vile and disgusting. Do yourself a favour and eat elsewhere.

Took my team here as a late thank you for their hard work at Christmas. Although the place is quite small the greeting was very friendly and it was comfortable.I checked out the menu while I waited for my team and asked a few questions which were answered with a smile.When the team arrived we all ordered and chatted while we waited.I ordered something on recommendation made with naga chillies, I was told it was madras strength. It duly arrived and I was pleasantly surprised. Spice wise it was madras hot but it tasted much better, very nice thank you. I little jewel hidden away and you can take your own alcohol. If I lived in the area I'd definitely use it :)

After reading some of the negative reviews that had been writen previously i was unsure about eating here, however after being told our delivery would take 40 minutes to come, it arrived in 20 minutes which was good as we was very hungry, we ordered two chicken balti's and one chicken and king prawn bhuna, the curry was perfect just how we all like it, there was plenty of pieces of chicken and i was surprised about the portion of king prawns as previous curry places only give a few. The portions are huge and we had to save half of the food for tea the next night. We all really enjoyed it and i would recommend it to others.

I have used this takeaway for several years. If I'm honest it has gradually been getting worse for a while now. My latest order this evening consisted of cold poorly cooked chips and missing my onion mix that was specially requested upon order. However I do think they take more care over clients eating in if this is a more favourable option

This is one of my local Indian restaurants, but my favourite one to go to. Been here many many times as well as ordering takeaway and the food is always delicious. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

We have visited this place many times as a couple and as a family and the food has always been served quickly and too a good standard with no problems. However, when picking up food to take out there has been a couple of mistakes made with the order so just double check to be safe. Would definitely visit again.

Ordered a take way to night at five fifteen for delivery at six. Came on time , lovely hot food. Menu is very large so much choice . Never eaten in the Restaurant but know people who go regular and was told how good the service was.

This place is in a car park and between other shops but don't let that discourage you. This place has one of the best eating environments ever. The food is great and the staff are the nicest waiters and chefs I've ever come across. They really do treat you as a friend rather than a customer and are always happy to chat and make dishes that fit your requirements. If you're lucky enough to go and a waiter named Mohammed Miah is working you will be in for a treat as I have visited Dilraj twice while he was working and he made me dishes that he recommended that tasted amazing and I had to order it again and take it home for the next day. Make sure you try the Chicken Chaat. It's the best starter I've ever had! And their mint sauce is amazing! I can't recommend this place enough you can literally sit there and have a lovely meal and chat and the time just flies by. I have been going to this restaurant for very many years, on & off, It has the best Indian food ever anywhere, and very friendly staff and at a reasonable price.Also a plus for us is that you can take your own booze!! Much cheaper!
