Absolutely lovely environment, staff and food! reasonably priced for the generous portion sizes and great service :) best mocha ever

We had the most amazing evening out! From the moment we walked in, our lovely waitress made us feel so welcomed. My partner absolutely fell in love with the strawberry wine—it was such a great pick! The set menu had so many tasty options, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious starters followed by a creamy Carbonara that was just divine. I hadn’t had Italian food in such a long time, and it brought back all those wonderful memories of Italy. Our waitress continued to shine throughout the evening—she was super attentive and always made sure we were having a great time. This was our first visit since moving back, and I can't recommend it enough! Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 I don’t usually write reviews, but when the experience is this fantastic, I just had to share the joy!

If you like Aldis pink gin and food that tastes like it is cooked from a jar with a sprinkle of food poisoning- this is the place for you. My partner and I and the displeasure of visiting this restaurant recently and it has left us (quite literally) gagged. The evening was off to a great start, our waitress was lovely, the restaurant itself looked lovely and clean - even the starters were quite nice. Little did we know our evening would peak at the Bruchetta and only go down hill from there. The bruchetta was quite nice as a starter, but then again you can’t really go wrong with bread and tomatoes. The mains were absolutely horrid. I ordered the bolognaise and my partner ordered the carbonara, both of which tasted like they had been made from jarred sauce. The Bolognaise was watery and violently under-seasoned enough to make any Italian nona turn in her grave. The carbonara was not authentic in any way and tasted as if the chef had got the readymade Aldi sauce - which left my partner violently ill the next day. To put the cherry on top of this dumpster fire of a meal, the pink gin was from Aldi, along with the lemonade and other spirits on the so called ‘Bar’. Don’t get me wrong I love an Aldi pink gin, it’s a staple on my home bar - but when you go out for a meal and are spending upwards of £60 you don’t want something that you can just have at home. If you were looking for an Italian night out in kiddy just do it from home , save yourself the petrol and £60 and just get a lasagne from M&S.

Best italian in the area, always great food

Honestly, it was really disappointing. The food was bland and cold, and the wine menu was very limited with an uninspiring selection. I ordered the lamb dish, which came with two small chops and some courgettes and aubergine — but the chops were overcooked with hardly any meat on them, and the vegetables were hard and dry. For a £100 bill for three people, it definitely wasn't worth it. The only positive was the friendly and attentive waitress, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. Definitely won’t be returning.

I Had a carbonara pasta, was very disappointed when it came out and had penne pasta and the portion was tiny. No parmasan cheese or salt / pepper offered when served, found it very disappointing for a pasta restaurant. Won't be going again.

Down to earth beautiful Italian food. Have been coming here for 3 years and I've never had anything less than a perfect plate of food. Always busy in the weekends so best to book but you won't be disappointed. We both had the risotto tonight and it was sublime!

First visit tonight and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was absolutely delicious so hats off to the chefs! We had a focaccia pizza and the lasagne and it was amazing. Lovely atmosphere and great to have on our doorstep!

I'm very disappointed. Friday night, reasonably busy, one waitress on the floor. Showed us to the table, then ignored us for 25 minutes. In the meantime, they showed more people to another table. They were then served before us, which led to us not being able to have what we wanted from the menu because the last portions were served to them. Frustrating +++. When dinner arrived, the side salad that was advertised as coming with the meal was not on the plate. When we asked about it, only then were we told about the fact they had run out of salad. Really? No salad in a professional restaurant? If we had not asked, it was clear they would have just served it up and not said anything. That's a really poor attitude. No alternative offered, nothing taken off of the bill. The table next to us waited almost 30 minutes for their pudding. The only reason they get 2 stars is because what was served tasted good, if a little lacking in seasoning. Don't bother, because they don't seem that bothered about what they do.

I went to Love Food Italia last night with my friend. It was a busy atmosphere, as expected on a Friday evening. Overall it was a fantastic experience, I have been a few times and they never fail to impress. Brilliant food, brilliant service. We were shown the new menu on arrival… Reasonable prices, great portions and delicious food. I had the Funghi starter, and Pasta Al Funghi off the set menu. Highly recommend, and we will both be back again soon, as usual.

Six of us had the fixed menu of a starter , and none of us had a bad meal. I would have given the atmosphere a higher rating, but it was a little cold there. The lovely waitress did help by bringing over the heater.

We had a wonderful company night out, Jack and his team went above and beyond with exceptional service and attention to detail. They could not have done more to make it a wonderful night out, great team, Highly recommend.

What a great place. Very small menu but the food is EXCELLENT!! Give it try. You won't be disappointed.

My experience wasn't the best. The service was pretty slow for a restaurant that only had two tables in and the food wasn't brilliant. I ordered a rack of lamb and was given two small cutlets, a few fries and some sad salad leaves that were almost all inedible. I paid £18 for this dish and it was a big disappointment.

Amazing food, and experience. Very accommodating for young children and friendly. 6 minutes away from West Midlands Safari Park. There is a car park just facing the restaurant albeit requires payment. Dishes were fresh, authentic and tasteful. Highly recommend

Very welcoming and friendly staff with a nice pleasant atmosphere. This restaurant offers a nice change from the usual what I consider to be over priced Italians. The food was all freshly prepared and was both tasty and filling. Including drinks the bill came to £89 for four of us which I thought was good value. The restaurant was about 3/4 full when we left so I'd recommend you book to avoid possible disappointment. We went on the recommendation of a friend who is a chef himself which says a lot.

Found this place all in a sudden and reciting try ,the moment I stepped into it I felt a warm and friendly atmosphere. Caffe is designed beautifully and the environment is lovely.The smiling faces of the staff made me felt so good.They helped me for choosing the meals and drinks even the food for my 4 year old little girl. Me and my friend enjoyed this coffee brunch time so much.

One of the best meals I have had in ages! Bruschetta was the best I've ever had, so tasty. Carbonara with a difference, but a good one az I've never had it as a sauce with chicken and I don't know why after this. And then there is the strawberry cheesecake; which was so so dreamy, delicious and a delight. Comes highly recommended.

Amazing meal, we shared a focaccia garlic bread which was beautifully cooked. Mains were mushroom risotto and chicken in carbonara sauce with stunning sauces. Really good price and the waitress was very welcoming and knew all her regulars. We will definitely return with friends or family

We visited with three of our grandchildren and family a few days ago. The staff were so accommodating and totally looked after our three young grandsons. Our food was really tasty and the grandkids totally loved their pizza. The staff served the kids some ice cream in tea cups which went down so well. Thank you for fantastic food and amazing service.

Came here for Valentine’s Day as we moved into the area not long ago. We have wanted to visit here for a while and glad we did. We was greeted with prosecco which was a nice touch. The food was really tasty and looked good too. The service by Maddie was excellent, very friendly and welcoming. Overall really good value for money and we will return.

Yet another amazing meal here. We have been using this restaurant for many years and were slightly apprehensive when we learnt there was a new chef but we had absolution need to be. First visit this evening won’t be the last. A Welcoming ambience ….then the food. Simple, honest, home cooked flavours. The Risotto was flawless, as were deserts. 3 courses later - very reasonable bill - very happy customer. Don’t miss out. Hidden gem.

I went there on Tuesday night and it was quite quiet. The portions were quite big and tasted good. The taste of white wine in the Alfredo was very prominent and the dish really stood out to me. Recommend!!

This restaurant was a real surprise find sitting along side a big car park. When we arrived it was not too busy so we got a table fairly easily. The manageress / waitress was really friendly, attentive and helpful, explaining the special deals on offer, we went for the starter and pasta deal, which was exceptional value for money. The starter I had was grilled salami on italian toasted cheese for want of a better description and it was excellent The pasta dishes we both chose turned out to be Perciatelli with very tasty sauces and added chicken so there was a lot to eat in the bowl, presentation and service were excellent. I had the arrabbiata sauce which cut a nice balance between tomato flavour and spicy heat and it was really good. Garlic bread side was epic, but the Bread and Butter pudding was absolutely tremendous with a nice cinnamon dusting on the top. Coffee was great and nice and strong, to combat the effect of a couple of pints of well chilled Peroni. If you are in the area give this little surprise package a try.

Excellent place to dine. Service is excellent and very knowledgeable. Wine, cake and coffee keep up with the excellent food served. A little surprised that my pasta was a very authentic bucatini style. Full plates excellent dining experience and with plenty of parking and character it is a must place to dine in the area.

my experience at this restaurant was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe. The poorly cooked calamari, the lackluster atmosphere, and the abysmal service all contributed to making this dining experience truly unforgettable—in the worst possible way. I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this restaurant unless they have an affinity for disappointment and frustration.

This was a terrible evening with good friends visiting from Kent Pre order then some of the starters forgotten and mains were dry (chicken) and again garlic bread forgotten but arrived 20 mins later Desserts were wet and obviously defrosted before being put out Very expensive dinner for 6 people for the quality of food served Will not be going here again and it’s a shame as the previous few visits were amazing so something hasn’t definitely gone wrong in the last 4 months since we were there!

Pre-ordered and paid a deposit, we got the wrong starters, one bread and oils instead of two, the mains were bland and the desserts poor, sadly will never return here again! Such a shame as we used to love this place!

Had a meal here on New Year's Eve and I am really glad I chose this restaurant. The food was amazing, the portions were really reasonable and so were the prices. I even took my leftovers home with me. The atmosphere was nice and the waitress that serviced us was very kind. I will definitely be returning in the future and would highly recommend.

Unsure if they had a bad day but food was very poor, I had cod and pasta and it was so bland!!! The staff kept running off to the kitchen and that was it, until I went to look for them! No off of Parmesan cheese and overall a very disappointing service. They must do better surely in these economic times. That probably accounts for the lack of customers in the restaurant as we were virtually the only customers there!

If i could give a no star rating I would, due to how rude the staff were when we walked in and asked for a table of 2 they simply judge us by how we looked and just said no didn’t even look at there booking system just a straight no!! Would not recommend as they were rude and clearly snotty people… they had 1 table in which was a table of 6 I want to say and the looks we got clearly state the fact we was not welcome to there no thank you never again would I even bother to try here 👍🏼 don’t judge and be kind goodbye 😽

We have had a good experience here before so were very surprised at the utterly disappointing service we received this evening. The restaurant was only half full but the two members of staff on duty appeared tense and unwelcoming. My partner and I sat there for a good twenty minutes before even being acknowledged. Finally the waitress came and served us soke drinks. My partner wanted the risotto so I went to ask the chef through the open kitchen what the risotto of the day was. She yelled at me "I haven't got time! I'm busy ". Utterly appalled at her Unprofessional behaviour, we decided to leave. When we reprimanded the staff about their lack of professionalism they argued back instead of apologising. Never again .

Very average food. Went last night and ordered the lamb. It consisted of 2 tiny lamb chops, fries and a few vegetables. When I complained, the waitress was apologetic, but nothing offered or any contact from the manger or chef. My partner had chicken which was in a greasy, salty sauce. Unfortunately we will not be going back and suggest if you go stick to the pasta and pizzas!! Shame as I was looking forward to it after reading the reviews

The food was lovely but ruined by the amout of oil still on the plate. My partner had cod and we saw from the table into the kitchen and the cod was microwaved cooked. Disappointing as we have alaways loved the food there in the past
