The best restaurants in Weymouth and Portland South West

Friendly smiles as soon as we opened the door. Got given a table and water was Brought to us straight away! Loads of children options and a separate children's menu. Menus were abit sticky but I'm not one to worry about things like that. Food was amazing we had empty plates all round!

Good to see a few locals enjoying a beer away from the rain.

Freshly cooked to order. Enormous piece of haddock and delicious crispy and fluffy chips. Friendly staff and a lot of choice.

Visited for dinner but wish we hadn't. Service was slow and food underwhelming. 5 staff for 10 (ish) tables and only 1 person was dictating what was needed. Flagged someone down for drinks and he said he needed to get a tablet but assume he wasn't old enough as finally sent someone else. Finished dinner but was waiting for around 15-20 mins after. Main chap came for pudding choices but we hadn't even been given menus. When I made a comment to suggest it was slow service he said he had new staff. Fair enough as everyone needs to start somewhere but if the whole team is new should we pay the full price? Food wasn't overly great. Childrens mini steak was probably the bit they didn't want to give to anyone else as had grizzle going through and given it being small there was about an inch square that could be eaten so not even a child's portion. Children's Sunday came with 2 tiny bits of brownie and whipped cream. Sent it back as not even any ice cream. Adults cheesecake had no cream or ice cream and was typical frozen rubbish. Overall just not worth the money and wouldn't recommend or re-visit. A lot of money spent of not great food

Went here today to celebrate a job interview and I was pleasantly suppressed by how helpful and knowledgeable the lovely girl who served me was! She even let me try the bubbles before. Clean and modern decour too and an amazing delicious drink with a huuuge selection of flavours. Will definitely return if I’m in the area! Thank you Drink Inc 💓💜🧋

At 11.15 went for take away rolls for lunch. I was the only customer, one person came in for a sausage roll. Very poor selection and no tomato, cucumber, coleslaw and just a few shreds of onion. Considering how close to a supermarket this was surprising. A shop assistant decided to go and get some salad and took some money from the till. Very disappointing and maybe an indication that they have no competition or maybe just a bad day.

Nice little old fashioned pub, friendly staff and very tasty 😋 food at a reasonable price, however food took over an hour to arrive, which is why it's not 5 stars

First time using them and it was gorgeous , I like sweet so this suited me . Will now use them all the time

Sweet space, knowledgeable staff and stellar food. You won’t regret taking a pit stop here. The Luna fries are out of this world. Our server was an ex chef at the brewpub here and had all the inside scoop of the food scene (that you don’t want to miss). Great beer lineup too.

This place is the best for Chinese food, amazing and lovely and very friendly people who will make you feel so welcome! Amazing food! good prices and just excellent and fresh! always go here you won’t be disappointed!

Went for my husband's 30th birthday meal with friends which was organised by the amazing Liam he went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, all the staff was great food fantastic and overall everything was perfect thank you to all at the Gregory would highly recommend 😊

Visited as we were staying at the nearby Premier Inn. It would appear that this establishment has been closed for some time, and perhaps just reopened as exterior scruffiness matched by the interior. The staff were pleasant enough, but we breakfasted "too early" for the hot buffet to be laid out, as it ," would just get cold " but we could order. We ordered and food arrived, lukewarm, and clearly not freshly cooked. Plus no decaffeinated tea available. How much would a pack of these cost. A very poor experience.

Tasty fish and chips, and plenty of them in the serving. Clean and tidy takeaway tables where you can eat your food. Clean toilets.

Another fantastic visit to a great place, normally go for breakfast, but we had lunch today, great food, friendly service and Alfie made me the best flat white I have ever had in Weymouth
