Sweet space, knowledgeable staff and stellar food. You won’t regret taking a pit stop here. The Luna fries are out of this world. Our server was an ex chef at the brewpub here and had all the inside scoop of the food scene (that you don’t want to miss). Great beer lineup too.

First time here tonight, and the atmosphere was really nice. The service was awesome and the staff was really friendly. I got a double cheese burger with waffle fries and an appetizer of fried mac&cheese balls. And a guava lemonade to drink with was killer My wife got the same burger but gluten-free. Both were amazing! Tasted fresh and was filling. The mac and cheese balls were also amazing! And an odd but nice touch was the napkins. They were so soft I'd wipe my a*s with them. 12/10 experience and will be back.

We really liked Aslan Brewing. Their menu was broad enough that we found something for everyone in our party. The outdoor space was simple but was fun for the dogs. We'll def stop here again.

Poutine was AMAZING. Maybe a lil soggy near the bottom, but that’s a sign of a good gravy. The waffle fries were perfectly crispy, and the bacon smash burger was TO DIE FOR. Overall a perfect experience

Loved the vibe - spacious. Outdoor seating available. Smash burger was pretty good - recommend getting the avocado crema with the yam fries. Large selection of draft beer, only 1 cider. Our waitress was super friendly and was very knowledgeable about all the beers.

Aslan Brewing is a Bellingham gem! The craft beers are excellent, and the highlight was the Makhani Curry—perfectly spiced chickpeas with crisp kale and sweet pickle. While a bit pricey, the quality and commitment to sustainability make it worthwhile. A must-visit for beer and food lovers alike!

For being on the street....at an intersection it was surprisingly quiet! We were seated @ picnic table....I believe after we ordered our food a party of three was seated at the other end of our table. No big deal, they didn't encroach on our space and their conversation didn't down out our own. We had been brewery hopping all day so I wasn't really in the mood for a bar so I just ordered a taster size of a light beer. My mom and I split a smash burger. Parking was pretty easy, free parking just a bit up the hill. The "wall" behind our table was floor to ceiling windows so we could take in the tap room vibe. I liked that when you entered the host stand was right there with all the merch. Our server was kind and didn't steer us wrong when we asked what she would choose for the side? She said a confident: waffle fries. Thanks Aslan for a delicious patio lunch and friendly service on an almost fall afternoon. There was also a covered patio around the corner so Aslan doesn't lack on a place to drink or eat.

I haven’t been here in over 3-4 years. Their service has definitely gone down hill post pandemic. I remember this place use to be vibrant and the service was always amazing. This experience was disappointing to say the least. The food has also changed quite a bit. Their poutine was so heavy on the gravy, I felt like I was eating a bowl of clam chowder. Lastly, the burger was fine, I think it was a huge mistake to get rid of the bison burger. The bison burger was so good. Anywho, 3/5. Probably won’t come back for a while. I got a nice hoodie though so the branding still top notch. The quality of the restaurant though , not so great.

Good selection of beers with decent food options. Our server was not the greatest, but maybe that was our fault for not understanding the menu. Food was okay. I've never seen cheese curds as small as they found for the poutine. The aioli and chimichuri don't work well together on their other specialty fries. Karrage chicken was good. The difference in size between their entree and side salads are questionable. I'd totally get a pint of any of their beers.

Realllly hate having to give Aslan a 1 star (hate giving any 1 star review actually), but we left feeling so terrible yesterday afternoon I have to type something here:( Walked up with my friend and our 2 dogs arounduu 3pm. Friend drove up from upper Skagit to visit me on my birthday, we wanted a yummy beer and burger on a the Aslan patio. At the entrance saw a table with 2 other dogs, and witnessed the other patron quickly start to console and distract their dog as we walked up (assuming it was goin to be reactive). Of course this dog starts blasting our dogs with barks, and one of ours barks back. Without even a greeting or “hello”, an aslan employee walks up to us and aggressively states “if your dogs can’t get along they can’t be here!” and proceeds to quickly walk back to the bar where they came from (im assuming he a manager or something). I have NEVER felt so much tude, disrespect, and blatant unwelcomeness from a service worker, EVER:(. I myself have worked in the industry for over 10 years, and could never imagine witnessing such treatment from a fellow coworker/manager. I am appalled that an employee, even older manager type vibe, would think this acceptable. I have given so much money and love to Aslan since they opened so long ago:( ugh, and have quite a few homies that work there/have worked there over the years, and I know they don’t treat people this way. Really really disappointed in this, and not just because they are Alsan and have a reputable reputation. In fact I don’t know if I can ever enjoy a Katsu burger again on that patio :( that individual was so so mean lol. Too many other good food and brews w really nice folks in Bham for accepting this kind of customer service, and bartenders that love our furry friends:(

Fun place with interesting beer options. Food was good but next time I'll order the double burger, the patties are not that thick. Good yam fries and the pork belly I will definitely order again. Killer. I shall return.

An excellent choice for our rehearsal dinner! The covered patio comfortably fit our 20 guests and kept everyone cool on a hot afternoon. The service was phenomenal and the food was delicious. We also worked with Jakob to order kegs for our wedding the following day and he was just wonderful. We couldn't be happier!

Stopped in for a few drinks. They have a wide selection of in house beer. I didn't eat a meal here, but the food looked delicious.

If you are looking for a burger with meet, this is not the place. For $16.00 dollar I got a bread bun with arugula and a flat thin layer of what was supposed to be the meet inside. Very disappointed. First and last time here for burgers.

That burger and poutine were outstanding! The hazy IPA was very refreshing. I can't wait to come back. The music in the joint slapped too! All around great experience.

I was seated quickly by a friendly host, but things went downhill fast. After sitting there for 10 minutes on a quiet Tuesday afternoon with no service, we walked out. I’m not wasting my time waiting for a beer, only to see the server out back vaping instead of doing their job. What a joke! Avoid this garbage place if you value your time and want decent service.

This place is a Bellingham classic. This brewery has a very spacious interior as well as plenty of outside seating available. They have a wide selection of delicious beers. This place is great for larger gatherings.

ADA friendly, removed a chair for wheelchair seating immediately without needing to be asked. Food was excellent and unique! Overall it was a great experience!

Love eating here with my little ones (8 years and 11 years). They enjoy their smash burgers and waffle fries. Been here twice already and servers are quite friendly with a welcoming nature. Keep up! :-)

Super beer! Yum. Plenty of room for medium sized groups. Order at the bar for food and beer and they bring it to your table. We got a flight and a few beers. The food takes some time to arrive. Not cheap but fun!

Smash burger was A++. Mac and cheese bites were very good too. Service was fast and courteous. 100% a must stop!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this establishment, and I was truly impressed. The architecture was stunning – the lighting and the design of the building was great. It created an warm, inviting, sophisticated, and amazing atmosphere. This ambiance was perfect for the ocassion and i talked with my friends here until it closed. The service was equally impressive. The staff was friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. They were very knowledgeable, telling me the whole history of the place and made helpful recommendations. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. The combination of the beautiful architecture, excellent service, and atmosphere made it a truly memorable visit. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience. I had the best day of my life when i went here yesterday, memories i will never forget. I want to give the owner a kiss and a hug.

Absolutely FANTASTIC food, beers and service! Chicken Katsu sandwich was really good and had great spice. Smash burger was also super tasty and better than "Smash Burger"! My daughter had the Hawaiian bowl which she thought was good but felt it needed more spices However the server brought us some type of homemade hot sauce and it was so good!! Along with the Katsu sandwich we had the house Ceasar salad and it was also amazing!! Poutine on the side was good but not sure we'd have it again. It's very rich and more mushroom flavor than we like. Beers were excellent

These burgers are unbelievable. Idk if I was just really hungry or already tipsy but the bacon smash burger I had was one of the best I’ve every tasted. And when my group ordered poutine it was gone in seconds. I would eat here everyday if I lived nearby. I’d die of heart disease but it would be totally worth it. Too bad I live in Chicago so I guess I’m gonna live.

Sat in my chair with a menu in my hand. Two waitresses walked by us MANY times and NEVER stopped to ask if we wanted anything! Poor, poor service!

We wanted to try a new brewery so, we went for a beer and lunch on a Thursday afternoon. We entered Aslan via the side entrance ( apparently this is the wrong way). We ordered a pint of beer at the bar ( only got 2/3 of a pint and rest was foam for $8 ) and then sat in an area that they considered dining cause we wanted to order food. We had menus and wanted to order, but the wait staff completely ignored us until our beers were almost gone. All the staff seemed very unhappy and had an unhelpful attitude. The beer was average and I don't know about the food cause we never got any. We won't be going back to that place as there are so many better options in Bellingham to spend your money.

The beer here is phenomenal. My personal favorites being the dawn patrol, and the jetski referee. The service is very quick, and everyone here is super friendly! The food is amazing as well, would highly recommend the smash burger. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience at aslan, I’ve never tried something here I haven’t liked, and their prices are very reasonable. Absolutely check it out if you are in bham!

Veronica was such a sweet server! My girlfriend and I visited last night and we ended up moving over to her section. She was super graceful about us moving and she went on to be super attentive and just really hospitable while we were there. We have eaten here many times and we're very happy with the number and quality of the many vegetarian options on the menu. Vegetarian poutine - what a wonderful surprise! The in-person dining was always very good except for one occasion when the fries were soggy. Some items, like the grilled cheese and poutine, are not suited for a to-go meal. Eat there in person if you can. The service was friendly and professional as well. Also very highly recommend the tofu katsu sandwich!

As someone who tries to not eat at the same place over and over again… I stand no chance against Aslan. Consistently delivering the perfect hit of exceptional food quality, healthy options (when a metric ton of artfully crafted cheese iterations isn’t in the cards for your day) and tasty spins on classics. Order the grilled cheese if you don’t believe me and hold on to your PANTS. Though it has prevented me from dabbling with much other Bellingham food, Aslan is the magnetic vortex i am never sad to get sucked into as I pass by. Do it.

The Aslan Bitburg Pilsner is the most authentic, tastiest Pils I've had in North America!

Their food is consistently good, however this is offset by service. For example ,we were seated waited 10 minutes for a server and walked out without anyone noticing, wait staff was too busy palling around to serve us.

This is the best place for a drink and delicious food! The servers, food, and drink selection is amazing! My boyfriend and I came here three years ago for our first date and continue returning. It’s a comfortable and personable place to go to. I highly recommend! Nick has been our server the last two times we have gone and he is great!
