Lovely little place with a really friendly lady serving. So many ciders to choose from and also other drinks available if you're not a cider drinker. Was encouraged to try to ciders first which was great. Will definitely be back when we're in the area.

Wasn't open at 12.30 today, Monday. Coach load of unhappy passengers! And, of course, as the driver, it's my fault.

Nice to see a Thai family set up a small restaurant in Bridport, and to read some good reviews below. However we did not enjoy our experience here. The restaurant area is pleasant, with 20 table settings and pleasant shabby-chic furnishings, but the kitchen divided off within the same room takes up too much of the available space. The plastic tablecloths were sticky, and polishable cutlery was unpolished, tarnished. There were no soups on the menu whatsoever, including the Thai classic, Tom Yum. How can any self-respecting Thai restaurant not serve Tom Yum? I was underwhelmed by my stir fried noodles with duck (£12.50), and my wife's lamb dish was too spicy for her taste. The owner unhesitatingly brought out a soup spoon of yoghurt on request, and laid it on her plate. Why not bring it in a small dish? Friendly people, but very amateurish. The least good Thai restaurant I have eaten at, by a wide margin. And take-away prices are the same as eat-in prices, and are not as inexpensive as one would expect from a family-run place. My opinion is of course subjective, and I am glad that this restaurant has a popular following. I am glad we tried it, but we shall not be returning.

Always have a good time here. The watch house is a great place for breakfast. The full English is fantastic and so is the ciabatta (with bacon, sausage and egg!). Doggo friendly too. Right by the sea, so you can get a little walk in too. Parking right outside, this is a perfect option for breakfast at Westbay.

Having been a long term visitor to the garden centre I thought I would try the restaurant for breakfast for the very first time. I ordered the small breakfast at £12 and was looking forward to it but only to be really disappointed when it took 40 minutes to arrive and the restaurant was not busy at all. Very disappointed. I probably won’t be returning for the long foreseeable future. I did not complain at the time but felt I should share my views.

Called in for a couple of drinks before heading off for diner. The pub was quiet but friendly and welcoming and the barman helped our friend select her wine by giving her a taste of the one she fancied. To be honest I look upon him as an alchemist - we live locally and avoid Palmers beer when we can. However, our choices of Gold and 200 turned out to be high quality. The guy’s a magician. The pub is conveniently situated too, you can use parking behind Waitrose and nip into the pub that way👍

Booked a table for 7 on Saturday 26th October for Sunday lunch on the 27th. We arrived on time at the booked time of 2.30. Shown to our seats where we waited to be served. 20 minutes later the waitress arrived and said that there was no cauliflower cheese left, oh and no chicken, no beef, no gammon, so we had the choice of pork or nutroast. Very annoying as we had pre booked and could then find no where else to seat 7 for Sunday dinner. Just a tough luck attitude. Very dissapointed.

We have been many times over the years and it is a firm family favourite. It is true that it is staffed almost entirely by teenagers as far as I can see, but actually they don't do a bad job in terms of service, considering they are like 14 or something, bless 'em. But the food is good and probably cooked by adults i would think.
