Wasn't open at 12.30 today, Monday. Coach load of unhappy passengers! And, of course, as the driver, it's my fault.

A surprise visit from my brother prompted a lunch at Oh Crumbs. It isn’t often he visits Bridport during the week so he wanted to take the opportunity to enjoy Oh Crumbs home cooking. Good food service and value for money.

Fabulous homely food served by charming and helpful staff. Very reasonable prices and you certainly won't leave hungry! Tucked down the end of the town you need to know where the building is, but very worthwhile visiting. Don't miss the lemon cheesecake!! Disabled access is excellent.

This is a place that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Bridport has its fair share of upmarket, quirky and close to pretensious cafes. But this offers great quality food, wonderfully charming service and helps to educate the local community (and beyond) of special educational needs. Love this place.

We sought out this type of cafe, because not only does it support those with special needs it also offers good value for money and usually good quality food. This cafe did not disappoint, we will certainly visit again when we are in the area.

We only popped in for a cuppa but wanted to mention what a great job this café does! It offers the opportunity for trainees, many with learning disabilities, to work in a real commercial setting alongside experienced catering staff; learning food preparation, serving and waiting skills. If you want a good value meal where you are assisting the community, here is your chance. Thumbs up to this establishment for a great community service. Dining room is clean and presentable so don't be turned off by the car park or front of the building.

You are always guaranteed a cheery welcome from the very attentive staff at this restaurant, which is busy and bustling and bright and clean. It is tricky to find and not the most appealing of locations but this keeps it a local secret which isn't a bad thing or it would be over run! Lots of choice on the menu and all at unbeatable prices ( how do they do a kids meal at £1.50?). Sadly, it's only open until 3pm or I would take my family there for supper as it's cheaper than cooker at home and certainly more delicious!

The cafe is tucked away in a courtyard at the river end of the main road - rather hard to find and you have to approach it via a somewhat dilapidated entrance. It is run as a training establishment for people with learning disabilities. The food is cheap (and I do mean cheap), fresh and cheerful, as is the service. It is a canteen type place with basic furniture, etc but the food is absolutely excellent. We had their home-made (really home-made) brocolli and stilton soup - which came with a great hunk of bread AND two good slices of garlic and cheese bread. How on earth they could have made this for £2.95 I cannot imagine. Diners who seemed mostly regulars were tucking into pies, stews, quiches etc all of which seemed good stuff. Will be going again - and often.

Absolutely lovely place, my partner and I were celebrating and went for a nice date here. Great food with lovely decor, chef even refunded us the price of our desserts as they weren’t satisfied with the presentation (still tasted amazing). Will definitely be back again this summer, would recommend.

Just there for evening meal cannot comment on rooms. But the food, service and wonderful cocktails made a most enjoyable evening!

I visited Summer Lodge with a friend to celebrate her birthday. We ordered a cream tea which was advertised as freshly baked scones daily. We were shown to the drawing room and sat down. Then a waiter came to ask what tea we would like and tried to joke with us which was not necessary. The scones arrived and were frozen in the middle! So much for freshly baked scones! When I complained the waiter then said ' so much for our freshly baked scones!' Then joked that we must have got them out of our handbags! Totally inappropriate. Not a great experience for parting with £34 for 2 cream teas! The building and setting is very lovely. A shame that our experience was not up to expected standards.

Fantastic gem of a French restaurant, authentic full-course menu, great wine list. Try the Rum Baba.
