The best restaurants in Wellswood Torbay South West

Visited this cafe three times during a stay here. Great food and great coffee, the staff were lovely.

The management offered a 'loyalty' scheme, buy 10 pints, get 1 free. Then without any notice renegaded on the deal. Many local people holding free drink cards were abandoned without any explanation! This is in the past few days. The management do not understand how much business this has cost them. Are they scammers, they broke an agreement!

What an amazing place. We absolutely loved it in there! Drinks a bit pricy but worth it!!

My oat cappucino and snack were so nice and the staff were really kind and helpful.

Food was fine and a friendly older gentleman managing pickups at the entrance. However, I was really disappointing by the packaging - so much plastic and single use wrapping. Would have expected to see recyclable or compostable packaging - not impressed by all the waste our order generated.

Food was amazing hence visited every single day 😋 Thank you so much for your service, very authentic chinese restaurant.

Homely feel. Local people with dogs inside. Generous roast beef dinner, lots of veg too. Nice Malbec wine. Recommended booking a table to avoid disappointment.

Reception charged a high price for the first 2 nights The next 2 nights I booked on Agoda.com Was half the price Reception staff got very defensive once I announced I had rebooked With Agoda and told me that they are unreliable and don’t have a partnership with the hotel etc etc it was very negative and not what I would expect as a guest Book through the travel sites It’s cheaper Great location Rooms very basic Used to be 5 star Now 4 star Very clean But rooms are desperate for an upgrade I was charged for a sea facing room then it was given to someone else because of a problem then they downgraded to a sea view room that had sea peeps and trees blocking the view but still paying the higher priced room I’ve been staying at the imperial for over 15 years Was always good £35 a day for parking under cover !!! That is a rip off What’s happened guys ????? The dining room is still a great place to eat your breakfast but apart from that It’s all gone downhill I rarely leave a negative review But I would have to be persuaded to return Sorry but it’s really not a good Experience

Cheapest London pride in town and way better than a big chain pub.

As a group of 7 who each had 1 drink and a curry and rice along with a few poppadoms...the bill coming to 284 quid which we questioned and had 40 quid knocked off for accidentally adding some beers ...not the 1st time but will be the last ...nice food dishonest people .

Certainly the best pub in central Torquay for quality and variety of beer, atmosphere and service. Live music on most nights from around 9pm is also of the highest quality. Far too easy to spend far too much time here... and I have

Great place for a good and cheap breakfast which was really tasty, with a really good choice on the menu. Friendly service rounded off a good first vsit here.

used the fish shop twice during my stay in my stay. some staff looked happy but some staff look unhappy chips and sausage where ok

Enjoyed a few breakfasts here, Always great coffee and some interesting healthy smoothies. Service had got a bit slower but the food was good. There are cheaper places for breakfast but the view makes up for it.
