Had a lovely meal here while on holiday. Food presentation and taste was exemplary. Staff very accommodating as we hadn't booked and the view of the harbour charming. Couldn't fault it.

The Clock Tower in Newquay was an absolute breath of fresh air. After a disappointing experience at a previous venue, this place completely turned the evening around. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a relaxed and upbeat atmosphere from the moment we arrived. They’ve got a brilliant selection of drinks - something for everyone - and the service was spot on. There’s also great outdoor seating, perfect for catching some sun or just watching the world go by in the heart of town. All in all, a lovely spot that really stands out for its warm vibe, great drinks, and genuinely kind team. Highly recommend if you’re in Newquay and want somewhere that gets it right.

This was a little gem of a find for breakfast. On a glorious sunny last day of February we were fortunate enough to be able to sit outside and soak up the sun. The breakfast was superb, quality ingredients and cooked to perfection, along with a lovely mug of tea. I would definitely return if I come back to Brixham

Great historic local pub. Friendly staff and people. Some nice artwork done by local artist on 2 walls and the closer you look at them the more you find which is fun. Not sure what Bogwits below is on about as there is always 1 or 2 taps of real and local ale on. Also a lot of fun when live music is on.

Great established LGBTQ+ pub in Torquay with the best barman in the West Country, Kane who will always greet you with a smile. Richard, the landlord, always makes sure to put on great events and there’s always a warm, friendly atmosphere.

We have been coming to the Imperial two or three times a year for the last 5 years. Other than breakfast, we tend not to eat in the hotel as there are so many choices in town but we will have dinner at least once during our stay. The food is fine, well presented, but, sadly, nothing to get excited about. The only thing that really bugs me is that on every dinner menu over the last 5 years, they have shown Paxton & Whitfield cheeses but they have never got them. All they ever have is Cheddar and Brie, and presumably these have been sourced from a local supermarket. P&W are England’s premier cheesemongers and to offer a selection of their cheeses is like offering Dom Perignon champagne or a hamper from Fortnum & Mason. The range of cheeses they offer is little short of spectacular and to have a carefully chosen selection of their cheese on the menu is an enormous accolade for any restaurant but to advertise P&W cheeses and never have them can only be considered as a ruse to get people into the restaurant. It’s really very wrong. Imperial management – if you are going to advertise Paxton & Whitfield cheeses, please make sure you have them.
