This pub sells good beer at a fair price but is let don by some of the local clientele. While we were there and we visited more than once, we saw more than one drunken person and lots of very loud male customers sat outside. It is not child friendly so dont take your kids. If you dont mind the rough and ready it is a great place for a pint.

A lovely pub situated on the Bay.

Myself and partner were enjoying a few drinks in here last night, when several young males came in and went straight up stairs to the ladies toilets! Now the male toilets here are actually on the ground floor! My partner visited the toilet straight after these males came out and said that the cubicles were in a disgusting and unhygienic state, We were using this pub all week as we were on holiday and the toilets were previously clean. The one bars person on duty actually turned a blind eye to these males using the ladies and some of the regulars found it all hilarious! It has put us off coming here again. I hope that the pub Landlord/owners read this and take some course of action with the bars staff.

Nice and small pub, drinks prices overall are great, atmosphere and people in there are friendly, and the bar manager is quick and excellent.

Been coming to this pub for many years on my yearly trip to Torquay and it never disappoints. Inexpensive and filled with colorful characters most of the time. Very friendly staff, especially Hannah who was very helpful and understanding when I had an issue with my card.

It's inexpensive to drink here. Has a good atmosphere and it shows a lot of sport. Staff are friendly. Outdoor seating in better weather and a harbour view; just! No food or children.

The 6 of us spent New Year’s Eve drinking and dancing in this pub had a great time The staff were great and very friendly all night and made us very welcome The price of drinks was great

Popped in because it looked an interesting pub. The draught beer was excellent and a very good price. Stayed for a few more as I also enjoyed the atmosphere. A very friendly bar. Sports were on the TV but the background level was low so that conversations were easy to have. I would be pleased to return, unfortunately I can’t make it my local as I was only visiting Torquay.

Friendly bar thst always shows all the football and where there’s different matches on they put one match up one end and the other on another The Beer is probably one of the cheapest in Torquay too

What can I say? Best pub in Torquay, and we went to a few. Tracy and the family looked after us so well while in town for panto. Love them all to bits.

Good old style pub. Friendly staff, great service and compared to other venues the cost of the drinks are very cheap. That doesn't mean the drinks themselves are below standard because they're not. 👍

Called in at this pub one Saturday evening. The lady behind the bar was very friendly and the drinks were really cheap for the area. You can watch sky sports or just sit outside as we did.we would definitely visit again next time in Torquay.

Really welcoming pub great mixture of locals and tourists. This pub was just 5 minutes walk from where we were staying and felt really at home. Tracy served me for most of our visits which were many, remembered my order and chatted on each occasion. Staff work really hard. Beer very reasonable price compared to other bars in the area. Great to sit outside and watch the world go by.

First time in Torquay to catch up with wider family for a couple of days. Travelled from London. Lovely landlady, staff and locals who were all knowledgeable about the local surroundings. If you like a traditional pub with excellent prices you must visit when in town. Will definitely come back again. Lee and Les.

Was visiting on a Monday to Friday Caledonian holiday. Found this pub whilst walking around fantastic atmosphere would like to visit in the summer. Get yer self in and mix with the locals 🍺🍺🍺

Well just came back today after a weekend away this pub is the best place to go we watched all the rugby and the banter was amazing and the staff are brill even when the pub was rammed you got a drink very easy due to there hard work and I found it cheap aswell so will be back 100% thanks for a brill weekend

Despite being fairly packed with football and rugby fans watching the various TVs the service was quick and good. We were lucky enough to call in during happy hour which meant the already good prices made it a bargain.

OMG the cheapest drinks ever!! £6.70 for a double raspberry gin and lemonade and a pint of doombar. very busy bat, but excellent service, had to have another couple of drinks to make sure we had been charged correctly !!
