Great place, great coffee, great staff.

Picturesque beach cafe on the South West Coastal Path. I had the Seafood Board and my wife had the soup. Beautifully cooked, well presented and delicious! I had an ice cream and my wife had a wonderful apple and cinnamon flapjack. Managed to drink 4 americanos too! Welcoming and friendly staff. Thank you!

What a fabulous site for a cafe! Easy to lose a few hours over breakfast, looking out to sea. It's perched right on the cliff face with the option to sit inside or outside, so no need to worry about the weather. We had superb coffee and breakfast baps. A great start to our day. The staff are genuine and friendly too. It's five stars from us.

Great experience. Very friendly staff and a great view over the bay. For me the only problem was access for the disabled. Very steep slope down for wheelchair users which means extremely hard for them to get back up even in a powered chair. But that's not the fault of the restaurant.

I love this place. Since I moved in Devon I always go here when I can. I have to tell that this place get busier and busier all the times I go there but it is worth it. Meadfoot Beach Cafe is right on the beach. You can drink your coffee with the brizee touching your face and your hairs. The drink are nice and also every food they made are delightful. I have try the toast and it is nice but also the chicken burger (another time) is tasty. The bun is fresh and obviously the chicken. I raccomend it!

Mead foot beach cafe. We parked in a nearby lay-by that overlooked the sea and it was a short walk up a slight hill. It was warm inside and double glazed windows meant you could barely hear the wind , I love the big windows that allow you to look out to sea. The sea was a bit rough and it was raining and windy but that didn’t stop moomoo and I from enjoying the refuge of a very inviting cafe where dogs are allowed. I had a feeling of complete calm as I took in the scenery around me , enormous cliffs covered in greenery that towered around one side of the cafe ,huge waves crashing against the bottom of the cliffs and the sound of the wind outside was strangely comforting .chatted with the host who said that when the weather is very windy and the tide is high the waves come crashing onto the cafe windows . As I was finishing my meal the rain eased off and the sun came out . I ordered battered cod coujons chips and tartar sauce washed down with a caramel late. The food was delicious and the host was lovely . All in all a wonderful place for well behaved dogs and their humans . I would highly recommend it .

Super little cafe with great ice cream and views out to see. Friendly. Just as good in the winter months for a coffee or snack. Doggie approved too.

Always a great place to enjoy a coffee or lunch. Been coming here in October for over 10 years. Enjoyed several breakfasts and lunches. The home made soups always a delight. Plus the views are great.

Great place for a snack after you've been for a swim or a walk. Bit surprised that bacon or egg roll don't come with butter.

Ein kleines süßes Café direkt am Strand von Meadfoot. Kleine Vierertische an der Brüstung mit Blick auf das Wasser. Bis 12 Uhr wird Frühstück serviert, ab 12 Uhr Lunch. Und zwar bis Punkt und ab Punkt 12. Wir hatten einen frühen Lunch, der sehr gut war. Das Personal war überaus freundlich, der Ablauf unkompliziert. Einzig die leider kostenpflichtigen Toiletten bringen einen Stern Abzug.

Used to be such a nice place but service and food has changed in the last two or so years since take over. Over half hour wait for a simple bacon butty even when cafe not at full capacity and on cheap roll

Twenty minute wait for a below-average tuna baguette, even though it was quiet and there were plenty of staff. Person in the kitchen has clearly been told to skimp on the fillings as there was very little tuna, although it was cleverly perched on top of the lettuce to give the impression of a generous portion!

Great spot, but very poor food on this occasion. On a very quiet day, took 20 minutes from order for a tuna baguette even though there were plenty of staff. At around £7+ it should have been brimmed full of filling. Unfortunately not. Just a sliver of filling along the top edge. Posting this review in the hope they will do better, as we are not all just passing tourists.

Great sunny day after the thunderstorms and found this little Gem. Great fresh food and proper coffee.

Nice little cafe does nice food however please beware that if u are a smoker or u vape u can not sit on there seats which are outside smoke or vape on them. The ramp to go down here is quite step and is a good walk up for the older generation. Order a takeaway or go to Anstey cove cafe where u can drink as well as smoke and be seated.

Fabulous gem of a cafe . We returned daily during our stay at Osborne apartments. We had breakfast, coffee and cakes, ice cream and an early afternoon tipple , everytime we had wonderful friendly service and top quality food and beverages always for reasonable prices.. Add the absolutely stunning view and we can't wait to return next year. Thank you Debbie Keely & Tracey ( sisters)

Their Pizza nights are fab! Spent Wednesday evening on the terrace, fantastic service, very friendly staff and great views of the bay. Will definitely be back next year. Also recommend for breakfast and lunch, this is our fourth holiday and regular visits to the cafe.

Lovely spot on a sunny day. Great views towards Brixham. Popular with paddle boarders and families on holiday. We enjoyed a good salad of quiche lorraine or Spanish omelette.

Great night came to the pizza night last week which was a lovely evening we had the La Reine and the Vegtravaganza which was delicious. Highly recommend.

Not to bad of breakfast sausages was cheap and nasty the price well over the top for a standard breakfast only one pat of butter and one sachet of sauce bit mean for over £10 and bread was toasted on one side only

They have an excellent. modern comfortable lounge cafe at the back that I had not been aware of on previous visits We ordered our food outside took our drinks with us and they brought the breakfast through to us. Perfect in every way!

Great location with views over the sea. Good choice of freshly cooked food. 1 draught lager and 3 bottled ciders (shame only 1 type was in the fridge) Nice selection of ice cream. Toilets are nearby which you pay for

I went to this cafe last year and enjoyed lunches ,but when we went today ,i ordered quiche and i couldnt get my knife through it ,when the waitress tried she couldnt either no apology zilch wont be going again

This is my local cafe and serves excellent coffee, good cakes. The staff are friendly and helpful. The view is outstanding.

Delicious parsnip, carrot & coriander soup served with bread. Homemade chocolate brownie so good. The staff were very welcoming & friendly. Would certainly recommend.

Always visit this lovely cafe when we come down and stay at The Osborne, an amazing breakfast bap and the coffee is superb (Hot chocolate too) with a beautiful view across the bay sitting outside even in January. Friendly lovely owners/staff

Lovely brunch of bacon, sausage, egg and hash brown with a toasted bun., really lovely Coffee and Hot Chocolate. We're able to sit outside today in the fabulous winter sunshine.

One of the best coffee's you'll have and cheaper than pretty much anywhere else. Not to mention you get to sit and look out at a stunning view. Food is also great and nice friendly staff.

Havnt been here for a while the breakfast bap did not disappoint was very yummy and the coffee was lovely too, the lady serving was very polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Location location location is incredible, good on a hot summer day (ice cream) or a winter stormy one (fry up and nice coffee) Highly recommend veggie chili and chips on a wet and windy one!

We visited a couple of times during our week in the area, just a shame we only discovered it near the end of the week! Very friendly service and great food, we had ice creams, brownies and a chilli which was amazing (my wife says it’s the best she’s ever tasted)! The owners are lovely, the view is great and it’s quite a quiet area so is easy to park. The majority of the seating is outside under cover, but there are also tables inside the building at the back that you might not notice at first glance, so if it’s cooler weather don’t discount it!

The perfect place for a breakfast bap. I recommend the sausage bap, it's yummy. The hot chocolate is to die for and sipping that while enjoying the lovely view is a perfect way to spend a Sunday morning. We also had entertainment.

We come here every year and love it.

Been here before and found it to be a lovely cafe for a nice quiet drink...however on our last visit..they totally forgot my order until I reminded them 20 minutes later...only slightly apologetic !!. On that same occasion the staff where still serving beer to a very inebriated gentleman, who only minutes earlier had made a remark to a customers young daughter reducing her to tears..this man was so drunk he had wet himself and couldn't walk.. so unbelievably a member of staff actually brought another drink and the card machine out to him... Outrageous

Small fantastic beach with cafe above and pay as you use toilets at the back of cafe, food fantastic very fresh and reasonably priced good menu, lots of drinks also. Beach is really nice but take water/beach shoes very rocky. Clear blue waters all around with fantastic views, a must go too.

The staff seemed nice and I enjoyed my ice cream in a come, but I was very disappointed to discover there were no options to avoid single use cups when having a coffee at the tables provided. I also noticed many people sat at the tables eating from polystyrene plates. It would be wonderful if the cafe could make some simple changes which could help us enjoy what I am sure is tasty food and drinks without us having to generate rubbish. I am aware that some things "can be recycled" but this is not an environmentally responsible or energy efficient solution. So a wash and reuse option for people who are not getting takeaway would be more environmentally responsible. I am a business owner in the tourism industry and I have made many efforts to eliminate single use items. It's not always easy, but I believe its the right thing to do.

Been visiting this area for 20 years and I love this place so much and the hospitality is always top notch. My go to place whenever I return to Torquay and hope to be back more often. Love chatting with the staff and there is no finer view to be had.. Pure tranquility.

We visited this cafe on numerous occasions whilst staying at the Osborne hotel.the food and drinks were delicious and so was the service.we will definitely visit again next time in Torquay. Ps the views are amazing across Torbay.

Excellent cafe! So much better than the other years. We visit a few times a year. I love the choice of food from breakfast to lunch to the special evenings they do. Many of the cafes near the beaches do either chips or greasy food but at the cafe they do a really lovely menu. The baguettes were delicious. We also had the coffee and walnut cake which was yummy. And for a change it’s non smoking which I love. Definitely worth a visit.

Simply the best food, service, views and whole dinning experience in Torbay. Price points for meals and drinks are what you should expect. Within our group of 4 everyone loved their meal. Everything tasted so fresh, hot and cooked to perfection. I hate poor customer service, so coming here and everyone being smiley, happy, friendly and professional made the evening one to remember. I am already looking forward to booking again.
