We chose cupcake cafe as they do the best selection of cream teas not just jam like most places! We had the sunshine cream tea served with lemon curd&clotted cream ,scones a good size fresh fluffy and a nice homemade taste! They also do savory ,chocolate spread ,syrup & ginger preserve! 2 for £12

The still House is a remarkable venue with great local well cooked food and a modern chilled vibe. The owner Brendon is lovely and provided me with the perfect venue to hold my eldest sons wake (He would have loved it).  With complete understanding of what we wanted and the perfect secluded venue for 50 people. Brendon supported us with a playlist and enable us to use his projector to play videos. Pizzas were a great hit. Catering for veggie and gluten free (best gluten free pizzas). Fabulous wine, beers and local Brixham gin. Everything was prefect. Thank you.

One of the good restaurants in Paignton. Good food, excellent service. Could do with more vegetarian options.

This is a nice place for food and drink

The curries were amazing, pad thai was pretty good, pork dumplings lovely but the satay chickenwas over cooked and tough, a shame but the quality of rest of the food made up for it!

Cannot fault this place, made our son’s 16th birthday very special. Attention to detail and food exceptional!

Customer service was good but my burger wasn’t piping hot and the burger contained an unacceptable amount of gristle. The other family members were happy with their beef roasts! The property is very pleasant and clean, they also accommodated a request for the sea view upon arrival.

Was going to dine in another local restaurant, but luckily, they weren't open. Had their cod & chips, which was beautiful. Very friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

We went in for a quiet drink, the decor is much better than it used to be. We did intend to stay for a while, but our conversation was repeatedly interrupted by one person who talked continuously. Although the staff tried to calm him, he wouldn’t stop annoying us. We finished our drinks and left. I would have given a better review, however, we had to leave or ‘put up’ with constant drivel. We will try again, and hopefully choose a better night/seat. We did visit again and we have become regulars over the past 3 to 4 years. The person who was annoying us seems to have moved on. It’s a great pub, and we have enjoyed the entertainment, including various themed nights (Christmas, new year Halloween etc). People are generally friendly and the staff are great! Like any good local pub, it’s got a great selection of drinks, at good prices and if you are into sports, you can watch a TV from almost everywhere in the bar! Phoebe the landlady, and the staff have managed to remove the problems and make it a welcoming place to have a drink, chat and evenings of entertainment on Saturday nights. I can’t rate the food, as they don’t really serve any other than snacks such as crisps etc.

Fantastic! Group of 6 had various meal choices tonight, all of which were excellent. I had the jungle curry, which was cheeky, but full of flavour. Really good. Wine was not overly priced, and was very good.

Unfortunately this was not a good experience. I ordered a bacon mushroom and cheese omelette . When it arrived I thought it was a joke it was black so burnt, I should have said something at the time. When I was charged £12.70 for omelette no chips and a black coffee I thought it was expensive, I scrapped off the top so hardly eat anything very disappointing.
