The best restaurants in Goodrington-with-Roselands Torbay South West

Saturday 11th November. 18 degrees, sunshine and blue sky. So managed to get a lovely ice cream from here as well as drinks, (lovely hot chocolate) and a festive sausage roll - which felt strange in the warmth, Lol. Perfect food, ice cream and drinks.

Tables were sticky,so i asked staff to wipe it down but they were still sticky even after they had! ordered the prawn salad,paid for it then was told 5 minutes later they had no prawns i was really disapointed and wondered why it was so hard to have enough prawns in the kitchen. so i asked for just the salad that was a very sad dish hardly any salad for £13.95 with bits of the end of an onion maybe they had run out of onions as well? i had ( instead of the missing hard to find prawns ) olives and bread, the olives was just cheap nasty black olives and not that many and a larger small dish of way too much cheap olive oil, bread was ok though Staff looked bored & unfriendly and the place was empty,they turned another two customers away saying they did not have what they ordered either,the owner/chef/cook/manager or what ever he is looked like he really did not wont to be at work running his buiness on a sunday at 2pm maybe he was just having a bad day but it put me in a mood spoilt my visit i would not reccomend to my friends and family it was a waste of our time and money My partner had the monkfish and chips which he has renamed gonkfish as it wasnt anything special and the chips were frozen for 15.95 it was hardly value for our money. We decided to visit the sea shack as the reviews seemed pretty good however our experience was nothing like what was stated

For the last 10 years I’ve been to Cantina several times across school breaks and Christmas holiday periods. The service is very slow, but the food is good when it arrives. The prices are same as London which is expected given the type of business. If they improve the customer service during these peak periods it could be an excellent food destination next to the beach.

Just popped in for quick coffee as visiting family in brixham love the place excellent food when I've been before

Treated my mum to an early Christmas meal tonight and we had a lovely evening. It's great to see the restaurant busy again. Food was good, service was excellent and we're glad to be supporting our local again. Many thanks and hope you all have a great Christmas.

Debbie and Tee are amazing! The foods great and the service is impeccable. There's a no nonsense attitude towards the quality of the food served. A no nonsense lady who describes herself as picky but I say she's discerning and keeps the food up to par. Beautiful meal 😊😋

ordered sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice Which ahs normally been amazing they said 45 minutes for delivery after 70 minutes i rang and they said its on its way after 110 minutes i rang again and they said any time now after 120 minutes it rurnwed up and was stone cold chicken in batter was inedible very doughy and cold the sweet and sour sauce came out in a lump as did the rice which you could only slice will be a long time before i order from thwem again

Absolutely awful! The food was disgusting and we found a hair in our salt and pepper chicken! Rather than resolving the situation all I could hear was the staff screaming in the background. Would never order again! £31 went straight in the bin

Visited on Wednesday morning and had 2 breakfast baps and a sausage for our dog Dylan which was 80pence . Good quality food and a perfect view of Goodrington . It was such a pity it was closed on Friday morning .

Really enjoyed the fish and chips tonight. Really tasty.

After having tried several Sunday carvery in the bay. This was by far the best. Lovely fresh hot food served by fantastic friendly staff. Will be coming back soon. Many thanks
